These guys are honest and 100% with you. I just left and I will say this is the best shop u have ever been to.
The team here is great. I slept through my alarm but when I called saying I was running late it was not an issue. They were so friendly and got me in and out super quick. I live 40 minutes away but it is worth the drive for such great service.
3/5(average) I appreciate how hospitable everyone is, but ~$450 for 2-3 radiator hoses, clamps, chamber seal and spout, and 1.2 hrs labor seems higher than I would expect on average. The same labor, minus the spout, wouldve taken me a $18‐36 in Uber rides, ~$50 Amazon auto, and a day of labor, where I only get 250 for 10 hrs of my type of work. It just doesnt equate to me. Ill review again after next visit, hopefully a less expensive experience next time.
I showed up without an appointment and they still got me in and took care of me quickly. Very friendly and as far as I can tell good work.
Customer service was great! I am traveling and they helped relieve my worries. I am very thankful.
Terrible service. Dont take your vehicle there for alignment, they obviously do not know how to do that.
Great price. Courteous and quick.
Terrible people. Terrible service. If you wanna be treated poorly tgis is the place.
Fast, friendly, professional, we ALWAYS put our trust in Firestone. Thanks guys!
This place is the absolute worst. Do not trust these people with your car. They are careless at best and intentionally bad at their jobs at worst. I took my vehicle in to get the engine filter changed and they took my old one out and didnt install the new one. I drove around for 10,000 miles without knowing I didnt have a filter. And they didnt even care when I told them about it. Additionally, I took my car in to get a new set of tires and they completely screwed up one of the sensors and refused to replace it when I took the vehicle back. I had to pay an additional 150 dollars for another technician to fix the tire sensor and TPMS system thanks to these people. Worst. Place. Ever.
Every time we come in to get new tires or just simply have our tires rotated the staff is professional and easy to talk to. Jason is the manager and he has always been honest about prices while not forcing you into buying something. He will tell you what service your vehicle is due for all the while not pressuring you into doing it. He does not scare you into doing it right now. My sister also takes her vehicle there and she is not good whatsoever about remembering to rotate her tires. I have to go with her to do that type of service. Jason does not degrade her in her poor abilities to remember service on her vehicle. He tells her the importance of proper maintenance but does not humiliate her. Excellent work. Keep it up
Wonderful customer service and excellent work at this location. Jason and his crew resolved an existing issue that could have damaged my car, and then helped me with a new set of tires.I could not be more pleased with their work. Thank you again Jason, your attention to detail and exceptional customer service is greatly appreciated!
As far as customer service, the staff are extremely pleasant, approachable, and knowledgeable. They were also prompt on fixing my 2008 Ford Focus upper motor mount which eliminated the intense vibrations when I pressed on the accelerator. These facts were the only reason why I rated a 2 star instead of a 1 star.I had also brought in my vehicle because the AC no longer blew air into the cabin; cold air would still come out of the vents but only when I was on the highway and air was being pushed through the air filter into the cabin. The mechanics advised me that the blower motor needed replacing after I paid for a full vehicle inspection. The part was going to cost $245.99 (whereas any auto parts store would charge $70-$115) and labor would cost $55. Upon closer inspection of my blower motor, I noticed the electric cable connected to the blower motor was not fully connected; the cable was seated in the connected but was not fully snapped into place. This gave the false illusion that everything was how it should be without the AC actually working. Yet Firestone still decided to quote me $300.99 with the diagnosis that the blower motor was not longer functioning. It begs the question of how this could be so easily overlooked without simply coming to the conclusion that all three mechanics that looked at my vehicle knew about it and instead wanted to benefit from the situation.Long story short, it was an incredibly easy fix that Firestone could have notified me of but instead wanted more of my patronage through an ultimately unnecessary service.UPDATE: Jason from Firestone in Norman gave me a call back and informed me the disconnection was intentional; I was notified the technician annotated the condition of my blower motor on my ticket, but the front desk worker failed to relay the message to me. After discussing this with Jason, I realized the issue was simply miscommunication rather than intentional sabotage. My rating will upgrade from 2 to 4 stars.
We drove into town on a Saturday morning and caught something in the road and got a flat tire. I dropped it off at this location. The employees were very pleasant and eager to get me back on the road. Within an hour, the tire was replaced for a very reasonable price and i was back on the road.I would definitely recommend this place!
Went in for an oil change and asked to check brakes. They looked at everything and topped off all fluids and told me that they could sell me brakes if I really wanted them but they are still good and I dont need them yet. Other places I have been have tried to sell me more than I need. I appreciate the honest straight forward service.
Went in for brake inspection, ABS light and brake indicator light ( displayed on dash) along with a tire sensor fault. Tech performed inspection. Found rear brakes and rotors need to be replaced, which I agreed to perform the repairs. At that time I reminded them to check the other issues. They stated the rear tires were set at 80 psi and should be set at 35 psi. He assured me it will correct the issue. He also stated my battery is causing the ABS light to remain on ( low voltage). I asked him to hold off on the battery fore am fully capable since i am a mechanic myself. I returned to retrieve my truck and noticed the tire fault sensor and ABS light still on. I spoke to the manager and he did confirm with his tech that the battery is the issue. When I returned home, I load tested the battery ( checked good), filled my right front tire to correct pressure and the tire fault sensor light turned off. Through a couple of quick electrical checks, I discovered the right lower brake light socket was shorted. I corrected the short and the ABS light turned off. All the guys I came into contact with were pleasant and the tech did correct my breaking issue. As for the other two issues I had, maybe the manager who is an OSU grad needs to further his education and share his knowledge with his technicians. MY COMPANY PAYS FOR YOUR EXPERTISE AND BELIEVES MY TIME IS TOO VALUABLE TO BE TURNING A WRENCH.
I always take my vehicle here for oil changes and any other work I need. They do good work and dont try to up sale you any services you dont actually need. Jason and Austin are both great and trustworthy. They maybe sometimes a bit more expensive than some other shops, but they have always done great work and keep my high mileage suv running great! Use them with confidence.
Jason was nothing short of outstanding on product knowledge.. Im sure you can find slightly cheaper products elsewhere, but I have no hesitation in trusting them with my vehicle. My car is used in adverse weather conditions, and they fully understand my needs as a storm spotter and assessed all options patiently with me to determine that my current tire was indeed the best choice.. They could have upsold me, but they didnt. Their customer waiting area does need better coffee though. :)
I got the distinct feeling that these people were trying to rip me off because Im a woman. Came in for new tires. Price I was quoted seemed kind of high. Didnt seem right to me, so I left. I got the same tires at a different location for a much more reasonable price. Thanks.
Seems to have gone drastically down hill lately. Bought some tires the other day and they told me they would be in on Monday. I drive my car over to drop off and confirm with the salesman they’ll be installed and I can pick the car up by closing. He assured me I’ll be able to. 15 minutes after leaving he calls to tell me they won’t be in and it’ll be another day. I explain that I rearranged everything on his word and reluctantly agree to let them keep it another day. Went it to pick it up a day later and no word of an apology or making things right from their wild miscommunication. Might seem nit picky, but I came here because a specific former employee went above and beyond, definitely didn’t get that vibe anymore.
Thank you so much for your help yesterday. I was having car trouble just after leaving a surgical procedure for my daughter. Car started smoking. I pulled in they dropped what they were doing and got me back on my way! Awesome ppl!!!!❤❤❤
On a day trip visiting Norman from Dallas, my car got a flat when I arrived. The associates were very friendly. I ended up having to replace the tire so they went over the different options with me, going over pros and cons. I ended up waiting about an hour for the whole ordeal. Glad they were there and able to help!
As I sit in the Santa Fe, NM firestone I am informed that my local firestone (36th and robinson in norman OK) that supposedly plugged a leaky tire as well as inspected my vehicle and rotated my tires charging me over $40 actuall did zero service whatsoever before releasing my truck back to me to take an 8 hour trip. The same leaky tire in the same non rotated position went flat the first morning here. The Firestone here inspected and verified to me that not a single tire had any repair work done to them. Now I have to stay here in santa fe overnight today bc i need a new tire that wont be in until 3 pm monday. I was supposed to be home for work monday morning. Norman Firestone, will you hold yourself responsible for your negligence, pay the full cost of the new tire and service, my hotel and food costs. how about the day of missed work and frustrations that come with that.
Blew a tire on Memorial Day weekend. They were busy but I told them we had to be in Colorado by 4pm. The manager took it upon himself to personally change the tire to get us out quickly. Excellent service. Exceeded my expectations.
Best customer service ever! Justin helped us with a set of tires, dropped off the car and he had it ready in a few hours. Our new favorite Firestone - definitely worth a little extra drive.
Austin and the rest of the staff were very helpful and kind to me today, even though I was clearly very stressed and probably not my most cheerful self. They appeared knowledgeable about what they were working on on my car, and even showed me the issues before beginning to work. I am often skeptical of auto places, as they like to charge you for as much as possible, but it seemed that Austin and the team were not doing that (and if they were, at least they were friendly). I will definitely go here again if I have problems. (and hopefully more money)
Had some issues with my brakes. They didnt have an appointment available for me but told me to bring my car in and would get me squeezed in. They went above and beyond for me! customer service was outstanding! I will be back and would tell everyone to come here. Was reasonably priced and friendly staff as well.
They found and fixed the leak in my coolant system right away, and Jason was very patient in explaining things to me despite my asking the same questions over and over (since Im retarded when it comes to cars). Additionally, my roommate who picked me up had a stripped screw he had been trying to remove on his car, he requested help with that and two guys came out to help us with that, even though he wasnt a customer. Exceptional service all the way around, from management down to the mechanics. Will be going back for all car maintenance in the future and would highly recommend.
This Firestone Complete Auto Care is the better one in Norman. (The one on Main St. has horrible customer service.)Their prices are a little more than other places, but they are very knowledgeable and get the job done. If you pay attention to the specials, you can get good deals that can save a lot of money. The staff (including the manager) have always been kind and accommodating. The only drawback is that they have so much business, and it takes awhile to get things done.
I went here for an oil change. Excellent customer service and honest time estimates. I really appreciate that they didnt try to sell me on any unnecessary add-ons but did do a thorough check. I had been driving with my low tire pressure light on for a while and they found damage to my tires which required replacing all four. I had driven about 65k miles on these so totally expected. I told them up front that I had a time deadline and they finished my car in the time promised.
Ive used these guys a couple times. We took our car in today to get a tire replaced and were fully satisfied with the service we received. Austin was friendly and helpful. It had started to rain heavily and Austin actually walked us out to our car with an umbrella! Excellent customer service at this location. I would recommend them to anyone.
I was referred to this location by a co-worker. I dont live in Norman & needed work done before a road trip. I dropped off my car on a lunch break, they then had someone pick me up after work in my finished car! It was awesome. Today, I called about my tire warranty. They pulled it up, politely reminded me I was due for a rotation and gave me my info. Ill be going back on the days Im at work in Norman. Its worth the trip. They provided me with excellent customer service, where caring and stepped outside of protocol to meet my needs and have been consistant.
Very helpful and attentive to my circumstances. Thank you Jason!
This location is the definition of exceptional customer experience! When I come here, I know I am not going to be charged for something that I dont need. The employees are quick and prompt to reply to your questions. Their turnaround time can vary depending on what needs to be done, but I have typically gotten my truck back the same day (if brought in that morning). I would highly recommend this Firestone location to people who are unsure about vehicles or uneasy about paying for something you dont need. Thanks Firestone!
We were traveling from Dallas to Wichita and had a tire light come on. This location was extremely friendly and quick in checking out our tires and getting us back on the road. Awesome service!
The guys were nice enough. I just dont like making appointments for a simple tire job to take 3 hours. A little pep in the step would be nice. Taking a burger break in the middle of a job is not right. Get the tires on and then eat.
These guys are freaking worthless. Took my vehicle in there a few months back with a three inch hole in the timing chain cover. They had us drive the jeep over to the car wash twice to clean it off and eventually blamed it on a valve cover. Few weeks later, I started getting random multiple misfire codes, and they couldnt tell me what it was, rather, they cleaned out the fuel system and changed the spark plugs, and replaced the CPS that had recently been replaced. They gave the vehicle back unable to drive. It would stall and sputter at idle. And come to find out they installed the CPS improperly and blamed the PCM and myself (for the CPS) saying that it checked good when we gave it back to you. If it doesnt even run, how did that check good? 1500$ later, and vehicle still doesnt run. Avoid...
They took care of me after run around at Hibdons and had me taken care of in an hour
Jason, the store manager, makes sure I receive excellent service at every visit whether for tires or repairs. I will continue to bring my car to this Firestone location because they know the value of treating the customer right.
I will keep taking my car here I trust them not to rip me off and they are fast and super nice!
Will not be bringing my truck back here ever again. Took my truck in for a basic alignment and I am already back to get another alignment at 300 miles because the tech didnt tighten up the bolts. I am lucky that it didnt destory a ball joint just lound popping and cluncking sound. This should not have happen when there was one 2 other customer and 5 techs there
Worst place. I spent 450 dollars to fix oil leak, just two month later, the problem is back. I diagnosed my car in official dealer and the other car shop, both of them told me nothing fixed.
Normally, this is a great location... normally. The people are usually pleasant and have great customer service skills. However, today, I had to bring in a company van for a tire replacement. The attendant, Justin, was incredibly rude. Not at all what I am used to dealing with at this location. Normally, I go to a location and give them the paperwork and they get everything taken care of so I can get the vehicle back on the road. Today, the tech at the desk was very rude, insisting that the account doesnt exist, and if it does then we should know the phone number on the account. First, I am one of at least 100 drivers for this company. It is an international company. The home office is in San Diego. The phone number is an 800 number. Lo and behold, they cant use that number. After bringing it up several times, I was able to go out to the van and get the paperwork with the ari information on it. It STILL wasnt good enough. So, he calls ARI, gets a man on the other end if the line, and suddenly finds his customer service skills. To the guy on the phone with him, he was very pleasant. To me, not at all. I am very disappointed in his service and this visit. It was quite funny watching him try to backpeddle when he realized I was writting a review. But, the damage was already done.
Didnt go to firestone auto care
Very professional and fast service..thank you
I was in and out fast..Logan was very helpful
Honest shop!, can’t say that about too many auto mechanic shops!
These guys were great! Friendly and helpful!
The guys here were knowledgeable and friendly.
No b.s. Expect to spend some time here.
Always willing to work me in on Saturday when I have a slow leak in a tire.
Truly overpriced! $125 higher than Hibdons on the same tires, but getting a oil change along with the tires at Hibdons.
Quick and painless oil change, fair price.
Friendly, honest guys. Have always taken care of us no matter the vehicle, service, city, or state.
Worked quickly and were very friendly.
Had tires for 1 1/2 years and seen dry rot on side of 2 tires. Contacted firestone and they said dry rot is normal for a tire that’s 4 years old. Don’t care tire is 4 years old it was bought less than 2 years ago and can’t help tired sat in a shop waiting to be bought for 2 years. Not dropping this issue.
They blatantly did not fix what I came in to have fixed and they charged me 200 more than what was quoted to me and only went down on price when I called another Firestone shop.
Great service and great staff
Great service.
They fixed my tires & took me back and forth to work!!!Also they were super nice!!!!!
Good services and friendly staff
Very fast service
Wanted a tire patched, they tried but the sidewall was shredded from the drive, and they showed me the damage so it was no BS. They had a matching tire in stock, replacement was fast and service was friendly.
Too expensive and car AC still isnt working that great.
Really nice and helpful staff
Will be buying my next set of tires from this shop. One of the employees, possibly manager, repaired my sons first bike free of charge.
Matched and beat several other companies estimates even though Firestone original prices were higher. Ill be a repeat customer for sure.
Good service
Fast and friendy
