Harbor Freight is an excellent place to buy tools. About 4 years ago I purchased an 18 volt Chicago Electric battery operated drill there, it STILL WORKS!?.I lost the battery charger went there to buy a new charger. They dont sell 18 volt battery operated drills of that sort anymore, they stopped @ three years ago. The store mgr had an old unit with an older fully charged battery, he gave me in exchange for my old battery now Im back in operation. While there, I saw some other stuff I could use. Thats when I realized they always have stuff I can use. So guessing Ill be making more trips there.

Needed a dolly for my basement to put some heavy boxes on that I move around a lot. Harbor Freight had several models at extremely reasonable prices. I had checked online before I visited the store and would have paid a lot more online. I also picked up moving blankets on sale and a box cutter. The store is very well organized and clean, and lots of bigger items are on display. I love to look around... You can find a lot of things you didnt know you needed!

TONY was extremely helpful i needed drop cloths and he was able to check in the back and had some in stock. GREAT JOB TONY. Harbor freight is lucky to have an employee that cares so much about the customer. thank you.

Quality of products is not so great, but youll get by with it. My rewards information was not in the computer, repeatedly. The information always turns up missing, they always claim Im a new customer and Im a repeating customer. They do not honor the coupons that are available through rewards, (with new customers) I always have to reopen a new account. No customer service, usually, they do not carry hardware items, lines are always long.

Came in to purchase a few items and noticed naomi felt it was comfortable to pick up the phone while dealing with a black person but left them on hold to while dealing with the caucasian customers even stated she felt comfortable with doing it because we are black and shes uncomfortable doing it with caucasian customers she needs to be retrained on mannerism and company discrimination policy

On May 10, 2021 at 8:10am, I called to ask if they have propane tank refills at this location. A female with a nasty attitude snapped at me saying, No. Actually we dont have propane tank refills at ANY of our locations. Actually Betty, youre wrong. The Harbor Freights in Elkton Maryland offer that service. You should learn a little more about the company for which you work, before you get on the phone and start snapping at people🖕🏾.

Didnt have what i needed but helped me find it at another store

The tools and products are low priced not professional grade. Most of us are just looking for a tool that will work to get us out of a jam, not depending on it as tradesmen. This is the only place where occasional use tools are available at bargain prices.

Products are off brand, but not inferior. Bought a lot of power tools, hand tools and supplies here over the last year and never been disappointed. Saved myself $hundreds and often find prices are half that of major retail chains. Always check the coupons before you go!

Always a good experience. Store is clean. Fully stocked, polite staff, always great prices. Good quality for the weekend warriors. I’m not a contractor that uses my tools 8 hours per day. I’ll use my machines for weekend projects and home repairs. So I don’t mind burning out a $15 saw that would cost me $50 for a name brand. I’m hard on my tools and harbor freight has not let me down yet. Hope this place stays open forever !!

They need to reorganize/relabel in a more logical fashion. An entire isle just labeled hammers and most of it wasnt hammers for example

Most times employees are very helpful on all items weather location of materials in store or assisting you with how well it may work or what it does. Up 2 loading cars most stores employees are very helpful. I had only been in the store once before long ago. But when I went after this 22 horsepower engine they retrieved it from the back got my extended warranty Street and how to get in the car with two gentlemen great place to shop and do business because of employees are the backbone of the operation

I love harbor freight tools!I will constantly start here before heading to Lowes or Home Depot. Theyre great for finding things for little projects, and have great options for experimenting.

I can literally never go to this place and spend less than 100 bucks. It is worth every penny though. I always see great deals and my tools and equipment has quadrupled in the last six months. Yes I am a member of Harbor freight’s inside track club it is worth every dollar I spent on it. The inside track club has paid for itself over and over again with the deals that you can get.

This place is amazing! Sometimes I forget this place exists and go to the regular big box stores. Really is an awesome place for tools, hardware, etc. and the one offs that you may need. Different types of measuring instruments to solar panels. Not a place for paints but painting supplies. My purchase today was a 12 outlet power strip with a 10 cord.(outlets are side by side; which makes it have a greater reach toward appliances. No frills and Great prices!

The stores are very nice since they redid them. Good tools for the money especially if you are not using them every day . Power tools tend to not hold up to daily use as long as top brands do but if buying something to make job easier and only use a few times cant beat it. Hand tools are more durable and work just as good as anyone else. They seem to be getting more higher quality stuff lately

The economic comeback has been too strong and 2 out of 4 sale items were out of stock.

While the tools are not top quality they are acceptable to the novice user. The store is clean and basic. Lots of neat pieces of equipment there.

The store was clean and organized. Easily found what I came for... And a few more things too! The checkout lady was extremely nice and took good care of me. I actually ordered some tools online but they are coming from across the states and it was delayed so I came to this store and got what I needed. The support lady said they will ship the order back at no cost for my trouble. Because of the in-store prices and coupons I actually got more stuff and paid less at the store. As with any tool place, do some research before you buy. Some stuff is great and other stuff not so much. Im happy with the selections Ive made so far for what I do.

This was my first visit to this Harbor Freight store. I was looking to do a quick shopping trip here for a few needed items. The workers were very knowledgeable on the items I was looking for and they were in stock here. They even reminded me about a coupon for one of the items. At register I picked up the wrong item and the cashier noticed it and was able to get the correct item bought back to the register for me. With great service, no waiting and no hassles during my shopping, I will definitely return. I just wish I had more time to browse but I am adding this store to my next shopping trip.

I love Harbor Freight. Lucinda is the best cashier. She makes her job look fun but she gets the job done. Shes aware of everything in the circulars and if I have a problem shes always a very helpful.

They have a great variety of tools, many tools that are not carried by the larger DIY centered stores. I was able to find a small 6oz hammer that was not available anywhere else. Good prices and selection are something they excel in.

Great selection of tools for all kinds of needs. My technical school is selling a tool kit for $650, however I bought all my required tools here for less than $200, including a $20 warranty on an item! Cashier was very friendly and knowledgeable. Signed me up for coupons by mail and email in less than a minute, and even saved me about $10 by applying some of his own coupons! If you need tools, whether it be for electrical, automotive, plumbing, or anything else, I highly recommend this store. The only slight issue I had was that you could not easily view the categories of shelves due to the way the signs were hung on the ceiling. Other than that, great store!

Its not the place to go if you are buying equipment to run a business or are looking to buy tools you will hand down to your children. It is the place to go when you need that odd tool or socket you are only going to use once in a while, or that power tool that you cant justify paying 5x as much at a big box home improvement store. Everything is from China, its not the best quality, and the store is always a little disheveled. On my last visit the staff was incredibly polite. Harbor freight serves a purpose and does it well, just dont expect top quality stuff for rock bottom prices. There are always coupons to get even more off at the register. If you know what your buying, there can be some great deals to be had.

I was shopping for a couple of workbenches for my basement workshop and found some really nice hardwood, flat packed workbenches at a very affordable price at the Norristown Harbor Freight. I asked an associate if she had them in stock. She checked and had none at this location. She went online and then found a few at other stores and she said she would ask them ship to her store.I got a phone call about a week later telling me she had gotten in two for me. I went to pick them up and thanked the associate (I wish I had gotten her name).When the manager rolled them up to the register, the woman found some coupons for me and saved me $60! The manager then helped me load these heavy things into my Sweet Minivan.The customer service @ Harbor Freight Norristown is fantastic!

Prices are always cheap but so is the quality of the product. I also find that the stores employees really dont know about their products. Its okay if you know what you want and are not going to be using it repeatedly. You get what you pay for!

Ive been here multiple times and will never come back. Today I asked where an item was located and i didnt find it where I was told it was. But it was too much to ask for an associate to show me where the item was, instead she calls someone with an attitude and a smirk on her face and proceeded to be very non helpful.

The prices are really great. For hobby or home use this store sells perfectly adequate stuff.They also have rudimentary machining tools like lathes and drill presses. They look kinda rusty though, but its just surface rust.

The only unfortunate thing about Harbor Freight is that they dont have a place for me to live and cook my food. This place has got me out of more jams than you can imagine as I cant afford to buy something for very short term use. Then again I have yet to have a tool that I bought from them that has broken. Whoever manufacturers are stuff for me at least anyway does a pretty good job. Im no professional contractor but I do do a lot of projects. At times its even cheaper than having to rent some tools. So this Harbor Freight is in a good location has a huge shopping mall around it if you cant find what you need theres a Sears tool right across the street.
