Great Old Time Hardware Store. They have helpful knowledgeable employees that always seem to know what you need for any particular project. They also have lots of little parts that you would never know you needed for job,but when they suggest it you are glad you have whatever it is.

Love going to Zummos. Mr JJ, Mr Zummo or any of the staff is always eager to help. Highly recommend !Owners changed.I left two broken windows to be repaired. Left windows two weeks ago, The clerk asked me to put my name and phone number on a masking tape. He did not put the named tape on the window. I asked about it. He said he’ll get to it. I was told they will call me when done. No call.I called a few days later. They cannot find my windows. Held on line for 10 min. I was told they cannot find it and took my name and phone number down. No call.Another few days, I called. They asked for my name and phone number again as if I had never called. They cannot find them. Asked me for my name and number again.I was told he is busy and will call back.I very rarely give small businesses a bad rating. But ....

They seem to have changed. I had gotten plexiglass a year ago from there for our garden. I called to get additional panels. I was told We dont have time for that. If they dont have time for this customer i guess they no longer have this customer.

I Like Zummos Hardware A lot. Kind, friendly and informative. 100yrs they have been in Norristown and I have been here most of my life. If I need something they most of tge time have it. If they dont have it they can get it and I use the to fix my odd stuff (screens, broken window glass). So if u think it cant be found or repaired try Zummos Hardware first.

I have used Zummos since 1980. was there 30-Apr-16 to return a item previously purchased. One of the owners was working on a screen in the rear of the store. I guess he was not please to leave the task. He seemed somewhat upset an returned $4.00 on the $3.99 purchased priced item (no tax). I ask if he could make a key from a blank I had. he did not know if he had the blank and he really did not care since he was pulled from the project he was working on. His response was stop back tomorrow or whenever and I will see. Needless to say he can keep the key if he has it. I will never deal with Joseph Zummoin Norristown again. You are the last Hardware store in Norristown. Your days might be numbered with service like this.
