The staff at the Northport store are awesome!! A couple of weeks ago I had graduation party for my son. Obviously in October, graduation items are hard to find. Not only did they dig out the graduation balloons for me but the held them for 3 days, because I have cats. These 4 women on duty over my multiple trips that week, were soooo helpful and kind. Their professional attitude and patience were refreshing. Their kindness unexpected and welcome. I will definitely be doing more business at this store!

There was buggies available outside. The store seemed to have less clutter. But the stock was low on most of the items that I was there to pick up. Check out line was Long, although they did have 2 cashiers working them.

My friends and I were just looking for some fun sunglasses to wear to an event the following day. We were trying on many pair, having a fun time. One of the employees came and snatched them from our hands saying This is not a toy store. Mind you, I was also purchasing other things such as toothpaste and other groceries. It was very rude, and we will not be returning.

This store has some of the rudest employees I have ever encountered. My mother and I came in at 8:20 tonight. Now mind you they close at 9:00. That gives us 40 minutes to shop. My mom works late hours herself so this is why we came in at 8:20. From the minute we walked in the employees had attitudes. The one store associates name was lynquoinette according to the receipt. Every five minutes they came across the intercom huffing stating we close in so and so minutes. The whole time she was looking at her watch. You don’t close until 9. Not a minute before so stop looking at your watch. We go to checkout and no lights are on the checkout lanes. The male employee who was rude is yelling “register one register one” how are we supposed to know if it’s not lit up? We go to checkout and she is huffing slamming our stuff in bags. My mother politely ask her to scan something and give it back to her once she’s done. She ignores my mom so my mom politely asked her again. She said very rudely, might I add “when I get this stuff situated I will.” That wasn’t necessary. She could have just said in just a moment mam. So as she’s slamming stuff I finally tell her you don’t have to bag it if you’re in such a hurry just hand it to me. And she laughed, not sure what was so funny since she was the one with the attitude. According to my receipt we checked out at 20:43 which is 8:43. The store still had 17 minutes left before locking up. If I wasn’t buying stuff for my daughter and family I would have left the whole buggy just sitting there. I never do that. But since they were in such a hurry I could have just left my stuff so they could go ahead and close up shop 17 minutes early. I will be contacting corporate about this and I won’t be back to this specific dollar tree. This isn’t the first incident I’ve encountered at this store either. This was just the cherry on top. We probably would have spent more money had they not been rude and rushing us out.

They didn’t have a lot of what I was looking for. Have to come back later this week when they are stocked up.

Northport Dollar Tree is very nice to shop for items for various types of Events

This dollar tree was fully stocked...had just what I needed and the cashiers (2) moved at a pace to get that line cleared quickly...will definitely shop again!

Dollar Tree is getting even more ridiculous with how long people have to wait in line...Im not sure if its all stores but I do know that the NORTHPORT location have one register open and the store be hot...I literally had stop shopping in Dollar Tree for these very 2 reasons years ago..If it wasnt for my mom;I probably wouldve purchased my items else where.

Clean well stocked helpfull staff. will be back.

The worse . I have never been treated so bad. 1 cashier checking people out, and there was 2 talking in one of the ails. I got in line to pay there was 2 people in front of me. The first first person had a buggy full, she must have been buying for a school or day care. Anyway her buggy was over flowing. I ask the 2 ladys if there was another cashier and Debbie (manager) said in the ugliest voice to get back in line she wound be there in a minute. She didnt say it in a sweet way . It was down right ugly. Never smiled are said thank you come back, nothing. And she also took off her name tag so I couldnt see it. But I had already seen it when I went over to ask the question. Last time I go in that store.

Lots of bargains, I hope to see heirloom organic seeds for edibles and beneficial species

My beloved Dollar Tree -- RUINED by one sorry new, RUDE, ignorant, inconsiderate manager! I cannot go back as long as he is there, because of the way he refuses to give plastic bags for heavy items like bleach etc. I cannot hang them on my walker to get them into my apt. I offered to PAY a dollar for the extra bag, but he said:I WILL NOT WASTE A BAG ON YOU!AND I WILL NOT SELL YOU A BAG!After all the dollars Ive spent there over the decades. 🙁

Went into store 2 days ago and went back unknowingly no returns with receipt. Of course just like many others, the store still had the same boxes in the same places they were two days ago. Yes two days ago!!!! Shelves still sparse and yes same boxes where they were. The rude cashier was no help on having a pleasant visit. Another customer and I step out side and was in agreement of most poor personality. If you don’t like your job, go away as businesses struggle without having sour personality and rudeness that will not quit! And where is manager? Try to call store and no answer at 3:00 in afternoon. If cashier was the manager, Dollar Tree you are in big trouble when customer service is as poor as hog mud!

The store was very clean and fully stocked. There wasnt a long wait in line and the associates were very friendly.

I’m giving 1 star but this store doesn’t deserve it. I don’t go to this store much but went yesterday and I could see that nothing has changed and I remembered why I don’t go there often. Junk and boxes everywhere with no one stocking in there. I don’t know where the employees are including at the check out. A long line waiting to check out, took me about 10 minutes in line. One checkout open, then finally another employee showed up. The people in front of me checked out at that checkout and I followed them and the checkout lady stretched at me that the next person in line should come up. The other register had only one person waiting so I asked her if wanted to go ahead of me and she said no. The way the employee acted was awful and embarrassed me and the others in line behind me looked embarrassed also. I won’t be going back for awhile. The corporate office needs to visit this store. I hope they expect more than this from their stores.

Today was one of the worst experience Ive had in a dollar tree...I started to ask if they needed a manager, if so I was up for hire at the moment. Water spilled in the floor at a register and just left. Couldnt get down the isles for garbage and boxes. I absolutely had a panic attack before I could get out the door.Employees looking at their phones. No excuse for a store to be in such shape. This store is on 82W. Cooperate head quarters need to pay then an unexpected visit. WOW JUST WOW

Its a wonderful place to shop if you are at risk of becoming a hobo like me or you just like to save money. Lots of items are $1 that you would think should be worth more.

Great prices!

Rude employees, unstocked shelves, and just a complete mess. We stood in line to check out. When we finally got up to the one cashier, she told us to go to the other cashier that was just opening their register. By the time we got there, we were 5th in line and had to wait all over again. We decided we didnt need the items that bad, so we just left.

This place is never stocked boxes ever where but not on shelves makes no sense needs new Manager

Great for quick and cheap items. Food brands are unknown. Good for seasonal items, greeting cards, wrapping paper, balloons, paper & picnic products, etc.

This location really needs attention from managers way up the chain of comand. The air was out for three weeks, it always looks like a hurricane hit it and I always see the same two employees working. I find it sad that an area manager hasnt given this location an over haul in the three years Ive lived near this location.

Best values in town... I just hope the prices dont go up.

The store was dirty, there wasnt enough products on the shelves, the workers were horrible and rude ! The products were mashed and old. This is a terrible Dollar tree dont waste your dollar .

I went in yesterday . The store is nasty . The employees are rude. There were about 12 people in line . One cashier, and he was worried about answering his cell phone. Other employees were walking around and talking to him but no one offered to help. I will never shop there again. Terrible

Nothing ever over a dollar..they except EBT and have some small freezer/feridgerated items.if your looking for picture frames or small home decor or even some dishes or cleaning supplies.

This is the NASTIEST, most poorly managed dollar tree Ive ever been in.Corporate really needs to intervene with this particular one really bad.I dont recommend it at all.They dont bother to stock shelves, leave shipping boxes in the floor with merchandise.I could go on & on.
