Called today needing to know if they had gallon bleach and if so how much. The lady said I dont know and hung up. If you cant do better than that get out of northport al.

Food is cheap and taste cheap but good if you need cheap food

Pretty clean spot. Really hit-or-miss with checkout speeds. Usually not too crowded.

Most things are over priced and not worth it but the staff is very kind

Always friendly and great meat prices

I shop at Sav A Lot because they have good meat prices. They have one or two friendly cashiers and everyone else in there is rude. But I would recommend shopping there for good prices just don’t expect anyone to ask if they can help you with anything.

Too crowded in parking lot and it seem to be too small of a building to do business in on 9~15~2018 Customer service was very unprofessional. Racial tension was taking over my mother during the standing in line moment. I was told by her to go get someone to open up a check out. I replied to my mother theres no one to be seen in behind the glass. She told me to tap on the glass and get somebody out there. I tried to stay distant from what felt like anger. She seemed to be stressed a bit. Perhaps it was because I didnt offer to pay for chicken strips, dirty rice, Etc...Finally she paid out and pushed cart out and left it in the road instead of placing it away from traffic. She then took me on and stated if we had a hat I could put it on and I would be seen as a little boy and I could pick up things from the donated items at a goodwill/ thrift place. And that nobody would recognize me.Had such a nervousness inside my stomach ...Overall I believe hiring of more cashiers may be helpful at the Save A Lot.

Groceries that are affordable, the meat is better than anything youd get at Walmart and Im in love with the 5 for $20 deal packs, especially the polish sausage. We go to Save-A-Lot every month to get all the quick meal supplies for those who work and have no time for cooking meals. We also get our BBQ supplies here. Amazing steaks, good called too. This place will help you afford groceries since Alabama lets all of their stores regulate the food prices to much higher than youd pay in any big city state. I know, food is way more expensive here than elsewhere.

Very affordable. The produce isnt that great. I was surprised at the quality of there steaks though... I got 2 Ribeyes and they grilled great... Im going test out the t bones next... There open freezer was being worked on while i was there so I didnt get a chance to check out the shrimp.

I use to shop at save a lot up north. It was one of my favorite places I wish they had more may selection but all other items is worth it especially if your on a budget like myself

Prices were too high for such a place. Many frozen meats in back freezer were not priced and 2liter cokes were priced wrong.
