I dont actually usually write reviews, but I was looking up the hours and thought it was good. Ive been going there for a while, I started because they were near where I work, but kept going because there have been several occasions where Ive asked for work for what I thought was wrong and theyve told me it wasnt needed and explained that only minor and very cheap corrections were needed. My car is always fixed promptly and well when I bring it there, and its such a relief knowing that I can trust their honesty in what does and doesnt need to be done.

Best Auto spot I been too & Im not even from Norwalk. My car broke down out there & the very next day my car was fixed. Not only did he fix what was wrong with my truck but also educated me about my vehicle. Def a great experience.

Rodney and his son are very friendly and professional. Their service is always done quickly, their communication is quick and efficient, and their prices are not astronomically high like other auto shops in the area. We use East Ave Auto for our personal and business vehicles and have for years! Wont go anywhere else!

Had my Jeep towed to East Ave for a starter issue after having several quotes given by other outfits. They were upfront and fair about part cost and out-the-door valuation. Next day, get a call from them stating the starter is just fine, it only needed some cleaning which froze due to a little corrosion and that the final price would be - $35!! Christian is an honestic mechanic who could have easily taken me for a full ride. After this service visit, I told him you made a lifelong customer due to the honesty.

I have been using East Ave Auto for a few years now and would not go anywhere else. Christian, the owner, is not only very honest he is very well versed on all makes and models of automobiles. He services two of our BMWs and my father in laws Jag. I often stop by just to say hello and usually walk a way with some nugget of information. Glad I found them, not only convenient but thorough and fair.

Charged exorbitant prices in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. They wanted $20 for a 1 Gal gas can!!! When asked about whether or not they still had gas for sale, as we had come across dozens of shuttered stations, they laughed and mocked us for asking. What a bunch of awesome people. The only good thing about this place was that they had gas available. But as of this writing, most places are back up and running.

Christian is my go-to guy and has been for the last four-five years. Theres really nothing he cant do so long as he has the time to do it! Christian makes it clear that he is passionate about his craft, so much so that he takes time to educate his customers rather than keep them in the dark in hopes of making them spend more money; this is unlike impersonal, large-scale repair companies who take advantage of unknowledgeable people. He clearly understands the beauty of small business where educated repeat customers are worth far more than lesser-knowledgeable overpaying customers.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING A MOTORCYCLE HERE. They pretended they knew what to do with a motorcycle. We had the motorcycle checked out by a motorcycle specialist, who double checked all the work done and said that we were lucky to have him fix some things before worse things would happen. We were told the tire was fixed, however, my husband almost crashed on the highway when the entire tire came off the rims! That doesnt happen with a fixed tire. Also, when I stopped by to voice my concern, regarding the very terrifying experience my husband had, the main guy was VERY RUDE and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL towards me. Told me we were never welcome anymore. B

Christian and his team are AWESOME! He stayed within the discussed budget and called me with options before he did anything that would cost $$. Another mechanic closer to home told me just to get rid of the car and not even try, but East Ave fixed it up so well it drives better than then when I bought it used 100k miles ago! Getting older German cars (2003 TDI Jetta with over 300k miles!) to pass NY inspections are notoriously hard sometimes and Christian really knows his stuff and will not give up. I simply do not trust any other mechanic with my cars now.Honest, reliable and totally dedicated to getting my TDI working. He did everything possible to stay within the estimate and He even took it to NY to get it inspected once the engine light finally stayed off! Who else does that? I have used East Ave twice now and they are just fantastic to deal with. I had a real budget constraint on my repair, so he called me to discuss which parts I should get NEW OEM and which ones I could buy rebuilt, to save a few hundred bucks in order to stay within my budget but NOT risk any problems with the car.For the record, when I got my used Diesel, my old Euro Auto mechanic (who did a great job on my gas Audi), RECOMMENDED East Avenue to fix my diesel. That says a lot when a top mechanic suggests you use a competitor, because he is that good! Lastly, He doesnt just fix whats broken, but gets the engine running in top form so you are good to go for miles and miles and tries to avoid future problems.

I have an old Mustang they did work on, after replacing the battery with new one they put in wrongone. Replaced carb with rebuilt one turns out rebuiltis no good from get go, but they installed it anyway. After having someone else work on car, looks likethey replaced parts that I might not of needed.I guess if you have to look on google for repair infothat tells me there unsure on how to repair it.
