I got in my car and drove to the garage area but he ran out to tell them not to help meSo I went elsewhere to get my tire fixed with a plugBeyond bad.... I wont be surprised if theyre closed in a year for horrible service

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!I brought my car to Big O Tires in Novato to have a few nails removed from one of my tires. The process took quite a long time and I began to wonder what was wrong. After asking them what was going on they said oh, its ready. I paid and walked back to my car and noticed that the paint on my drivers side mirror was completely dull. The clear coat had been totally rubbed off (and there were some scratches on it as well). I told the manager that my mirror wasnt like this when I brought it in (I had just worked on my car the day before). My guess is they scratched it with something, then tried to buff it out somehow to cover up the scratch.The manager spoke with the owner and the owner basically said unless the manager saw it happen, then were not taking responsibility. This is a classic case of he said/she said--but the fact is, they ruined my mirror and its going to cost $300 to fix it. Dont bring your car here unless you want them to damage your car and lie about it.

When I pulled up I was approached by a young man. I let him know I needed a repair on my tire, so he told me to park across the lot, far from the entrance and come in to get paperwork done. I said I cant walk that far, I will park here, (handicapped parking spot, my cane on the passenger seat beside me, him leaning over talking from my passenger side window, my Placard was hanging up from my rear view mirror on my front windshield)He said, no we dont usually have people park there. I said I can its okay, Ill park here.I think he was so mad he simply shut down.I went inside to do paperwork, 1 person ahead of me, person left, waited a few minutes before he even acknowledged me again. He asked me where the nail was, I said the side, he said we cant fix that. I said you havent even looked at it, Im not buying a new tire!As I was leaving I tried to talk to a mechanic to ask if they could just at least look at it. But they said to talk to that kid. I said he refuses to help me, cant you just look? If you could at least look at it before saying no, but instead they called the boy over so I left, left him laughing and shaking his head.I guess they dont help people with physical injuries or issues because they get mad if you use the handicap parking by the front door.Nope.Headed to another tire place right on the other side of Redwood where they helped me out, were friendly, and didnt have some arrogant millennial ponytail boy acting hostile and dismissive. I wouldnt go back there if they paid me to.

Great folks. All my vehicles get their tires here. Far less expensive than dealer prices. And they even beat Costco this time.

5 stars for Johnny & the ride back to work. I asked for something very simple from the elderly gentleman that works there and yes they did it so I very much appreciate them. Secondly everybody says the prices are high here. But the fact is this is Marin County and rent is expensive on Prime locations. I understand businesses are there to make money not friends. Everything was done in a timely manner. But the elderly gentleman did try to upsell me. Which I understand they need to make money to stay open and employees and business insurance are not cheap. It could be coincidence but now something is loose that I didnt think was loose before. I have to chalk it up to the game. I will definitely support their business and spend my money here due to the politeness of Johnny & the convenience of the location

ZERO STARS should be an optionBooked an appointment at the Novato store, weeks in advance, and was confirmed. Showed up with the vehicle to have the tires installed and was informed that they were not able to get the tires. Then was told that they were going to call me later. What, AFTER the appointment? Is it just ME that this does not make any sense? This is not the first time that they have burned me. I thought I would give a second chance, everyone deserves one, right? Never again, I will be sticking to the small shops from now on.

Service was good. Not giving more stars because we felt pushed into buying a second tire. We were told it we would be getting the same tires, but realized days later the tires were different. Overall, okay experience

I had a really bad experience last week the managerhe lied to me, after he checked all my 4 tires he toldthat all of them was ok and I should be careful not to get the nails of my tires. After 3 days my dashboardit shows up again needs to check my tires and finallywhen i went to the shop in San Rafael the guys foundnails in one of my tire he took it out and fix it. so when i called the manager in big o tires Novato why he shouldn’t fix it I know he knows that my tire had nailhe just said there’s nothing on that time, but I know he lied because only 3 days after I went to the shop in San Rafael and they found the nails,I’m so really upsetwith that manager in Novato big o tire never gave agood service he let me drive my car that my tire has nails on it, he never help me to fix it which Im willingto pay for the work done.Never go back there to buy a tires or anything thatneeds to be done with my car, Never to recommend for my friends.Really bad experience...

It always seems like something goes wrong with your car at the worst time and yet every time I come to this place they’re always so kind. Today I left with happy tears just because they helped me out and made my day. It’s just so nice to be able to do business with people who do a good job all around.

I bought my tires at Big O. Cant beat free flat repair for the life of the tire deal. In and out in less then 40 minutes.

The manager Johnny is very respectful. The staff is very knowledgeable and the prices are affordable. The employees work hard and will get your vehicle completed in a timely and safe manner. I will definitely return.

I needed two rear tires, and wanted to replace the old ones with new Michelin tires. The staff ordered the tires for the next day delivery, and the work was performed within two hours. Very efficient .

After a frustrating experience with a different neighborhood tire shop I stopped by Big O Tire to see if they could help me out. Lucky for me the 2 guys working there Matthew and Johnathan were very customer service focused and did everything in their power to make sure that I was all taken car of. I appreciate the help fellas!I wish more people in this field were as friendly and helpful!

Amazing service and accomodantion. The team is very efficient and knowledgeable. I called the day before speaking with Matthew about my 4 tires for my Lexus IS350C, he gave me all the options available, from economy to performance. No BS, just full and complete price out the door for the best Sport Performance. Made my deposit and he called me as soon as the tires got to the store at 9:15am. Got there at 10am with a warm greet and he let me know where I can grab a good lunch and coffee, and I was out the door at 10:45am with 4 amazing sport performance tires for my Wife’s Lexus. I’m going to get some brownie points from the Wife. Happy Wife, amazing life. Talking about efficiency and great service, this branch is second to none out there. I truly appreciate it all!!!

Great service, and great prices. While camping at a nearby town, one of our RVs tires went flat. I visited Big O on a Saturday morning, and they had my tire fixed up and ready to go in less than half an hour. Staff is helpful, quick, and very friendly. In addition, they called me later to let me know that they had accidentally over invoiced me by $6.00 and wanted to refund me. Not too many tire shops would take the time to review invoices, let alone call a customer to make a $6.00 refund. High integrity, high level of honesty. I would highly recommend this tire shop.

I was having car issues and the Manager and the entire crew there helped me and they are always super friendly. Anytime I have a concern i will be bringing my vehicle to B.O.T in Novato. The staff was knowledgeable about the job at hand. They should have described the variety of bands available and not concentrated solely on the highest price tire.

Guys were great. A lil understaffed and my appt. took a bit longer than Id hoped but I was treated very well and will return to this store no doubt!!

My dealership told me I had a screw in my tire and it registered at 8 lbs pressure only-- they put more air in it, said it was not repairable but they couldnt help me (probably because it was too close to closing time.) I had to decided where else to go in San Fran rush hour traffic, in which by the time I got there, theyd still have enough time to work on things before closing. I decided to go to Big O Tire in Novato. I arrived a lil after 5pm. They checked things out, did all the work and replaced 2 tires all in less than 30 minutes (closed at 5:30). Im very impressed and so very grateful. Thank you guys for caring!!

Great experience due to one employee, Johnny, who knew products and services extremely well and had the best customer service skills. He knew my situation and was able to order the tires I saw online and explained in detail what the alignment package and did so with respect. If you go here, ask for Johnny.

They always charge you more than they say. Instead of saving me money they cost me more. The service is bad and they treat senior citizens horribly. They think that some customers are not familiar with tire service so they take advantage. I will no longer do business with Big O Tires again. I am very disappointed.

A full 10 minutes before closing time, I requested a quick fix, and they said nope cant help you, were closing now. At Big O Tires, service is a lost art. Americas Tires offers a much better customer experience, imo.

Cant recommend this place at all. Misleading and lack of integrity.

Called ahead to make sure they had time to perform brake inspection. They said they had no problem seeing me. Brought my car in and they said it would be 40 min.So I waited, an hour and a half later still had not checked my brakes.I will never go back, !!

Came back to re check alignment. After the check the truck pulls to the right. Came back again and pulls even more. Was told tires are uneven and to remedy the issue I need new tires. Went to another shop to check alignment where the issue was resolved. Both front tires were incorrectly aligned pulling to the right. Not sure if this was a new tire sale trick, or the tech messed up twice. They even showed me the alignment monitor showing all green readings. Makes me wonder if the system can be monipulated. Sorry, but trust is gone.

One of my first Google reviews ever, and didnt want to post anything, but after seeing/hearing similar experiences I figured I would throw something in here.I had a small lift installed on my truck, and I decided I would come here to get an alignment. 1st alignment experience (Day 1): Took the shop over 2 hours to get the alignment done.... and they did not test drive it around the block before giving me the keys again. Immediately, when I started driving, it started pulling hard to the right and was WAY out of alignment.... (like embarrassingly bad. In fact, it drove better before the alignment then it did after.) I circled back around and told the main gentleman that my alignment was bad... and he tried to pitch to me something like; we did the best we could and thats usually how it feels...... but since we are closing, come back tomorrow and we will look again.Day 2: It takes the shop another 2 1/2 hours or so to do just the alignment again. This time I do see someone take it around the block to make sure it drove ok. Sweet! I tell myself. All the waiting and frustration started to go away. The lead manager guy who was working told me it drove straight, looked good, and that it may be a little bumpy due to my A/T tires. I hopped in and started driving, realizing within the first couple blocks that it actually felt worse than the previous day. Steering wheel completely out of sync and a hard pull to the left. At this point I dont even know what to do. They have close to $200 of my money for an alignment job that is getting worse each time I take it in.I ended up calling the shop and told them I would have to come back as soon as I could to get it fixed, but then realized I could go to a different Big O (Santa Rosa) to have them take a look. The gentleman at the front counter of the SR location almost laughed at the work done by the Novato shop, and told me that my front tires were basically completely slanted when they put it on the machine. They were able to do a proper alignment within an hour at the SR location, and although still not perfect, its night and day compared to Novatos alignment job.Im giving it 2 stars because the guys at the Novato location seem pretty friendly, but the seemingly lack of care in the alignment jobs and almost complete lies to my face regarding the alignment both times I was there has almost completely scared me away from Big O moving forward.

Have to give a great big Thank You to Ali, Jorge and the whole Big O crew (novato,CA)I have always had great service at this Business for many years, but last month my girlfriend took her Honda Civic there for a front end Alignment and they really earned there money on her car other places would just done the bare minimum-But Ali and Jorge went above and beyond to not just Align the front end they had to rotate all four tires and worked on her car for like two hours and guess what?Drives like Its new and never had an Alignment problem in the first place!Nice Job Guys many thanks!!!Perry @ Tradesman Painting

Booked to get my slow flat repaired. Got there at appointment time, handed my keys and told the guy that I would wait. One hour later, did had not got to my car yet, so I left. I am NOT impressed by the poor service. I will take my business elsewhere.

We needed tires for my 40 foot boat trailer. We setup an appointment for the next day because tires had to be ordered. They were waiting for our arrival. Didnt honor my employee (uber) coupon stating 10 percent off. She said itd probably be ok but would need to talk to boss. I bought 500 dollar tires and they told me my front struts needed replacing....1250 dollars later, I hear her discussing it with her boss, him asking what kind of tires did he buy? (Expensive ones). So he decided not to participate in the coupon. But gave me 35 dollars off, which was better than nothing.

Needed two front tires and alignment. They told me how bad the remaining tires were, but theyre OK.Then my brakes were real bad but theyre OK too. On top of that they put the new tires in back, moving the bad tires to the front drive wheels that were replaced. A bunch of mercantilist punks insulting the intelligence of their customers.
