I came here to find a new laptop. I explained what I needed to the employee who offered his help, and he was able to narrow down a few choices that met my criteria. I was able to buy my new laptop and some accessories quickly. I appreciate the quick and reliable service that Best Buy has always given me!

The staff was very nice but the guy that helped me tried to charge me a fee for reinstalling my screen protector to my phone. Then comes along an member. He saw I was really trying to do it myself. He told me there is no fee and put my screen protector on for me. I could have kissed his little heart for his kindness. Yes, I could have paid for the installment, but I’ve never had to do that before. I appreciate him and all that he did for me. So, yes, I could have given 5 stars but that employee in the beginning made that not possible. He had a face that really didn’t even care and it rubbed me the wrong way. A young black (sorry for pointing that out) man made my experience a four instead of a 2 1/2 star. It’s always in the eyes with a caring soul. That little bit of help made my day a little better. I was having a bad day but he really made me smile. It was really nice to switch to that feeling.

Nice store. They appeared short staffed, like most places, as it was harder than usual to find someone to assist with finding a product. Once I was able to get assistance they were able to find the product I needed quickly. They are doing the best with what they have. Would recommend shopping here.

Solid experience buying a TV and accessories, until I got home and realized the associate didnt include the wall mount we discussed. Had to drive all the way back as the installer was at my house. When I saw the associate and asked him about it, he barely showed any empathy.

I recently had issues with appliance delivery from one of their competitors so I canceled the order, got rescheduled THREE times. I stopped in to Best Buy and they delivered in five days, waited over a month and a half from the other place (HD). I also saved about $150, which was a bonus! They kept me up to date on the status of the delivery too which was awesome. No complaints here

I drove 45 minutes out there for my stereo install only to arrive and be told that I cannot install the radio. We tried to call before going in the first place and were told we could only purchase and set up online so thats what we did. The website said everything would work. After being given a phone number that would take me to the answering service to set up another appointment after getting the required item to complete the install I was sent away. I got what was necessary for the install and tried to call numerous times but the phone number just went to a this call could not be completed. Drove another 45 minutes to Best buy to personally speak with someone on Tuesday afternoon and was told they are closed until Thursday. Will never use Best buy again. Waste of money for my free install. We will go somewhere else and actually pay somebody for good service.

Im trying to get this laptop as a birthday gift for my mother. When I went to this store they were out of the one I wanted. When I asked the employee if he could order it to the store for me he said no because he couldnt. I then went to the store in Westland and they told me the same thing. The day after I talked to a live agent on the website. I told him what happened and he apologized and reassured me, saying he found a store that could order it for me. It turns out hes sending me back to the exact store I started out at. Now I have to go deal with those inadequate employees again. This is such a waste of my time and money that if I could find this particular type of laptop at a different store-Id take my business there in a heartbeat. And this isnt the first time Ive had issues at this store either. Your employees are a joke. Once I find what I need I will never visit this location again!

Absolutely worst experience with delivery- they will deliver either faulty products or they will cancel your delivery and reschedule to back of the line without letting you know. Also Bestbuy has the worst credit card ever- renewal without notice, charging late fee when they were reversing the wrong charge, refunding the wrong amount which resulted in more late fees, and keep in mind that all of these happened after I closed my account! Stay away.

I purchased a wall oven for 4k online which was pickup only. I then drove an hour to this store to pickup my item. I couldnt check its readiness as bestbuy no longer allows you to call the store directly. When i arrived they did not have my order complete in fact the$4000.00 oven i purchased wasnt even in stock there. The rep i then dealt with in store upgraded me too the next model but the item wont be delivered until October. Great in-store help terrible purchase experience.

Another online order and another easy transaction for this location. I love how Best buy makes purchasing and picking up items so seamless and easy.I love using the curbside service, although you can easily go inside the store to pick up your items. Depending on how busy they are sometimes the curbside service may take longer than 3 minutes, nonetheless, its a fantastic service.

I don’t normally leave a review but this is bestbuy is the worst I have ever visited. Purchase one PS5 and picked up on January 16th and found the box was damaged and the seal was missing. Went to the customer services and the agent was not really care but said ‘take it or return it’ without any apology. OK fine since it is for me myself I can take that. But I ordered another for my friend as a gift and picked up on Jan 27th, the box was also damaged. I asked the customer agent again why the box was damaged he said ‘you take it or not’ and obviously he did not care and no apology. So I purchased two items worth more than $900 and both of them have damaged box. This is how bestbuy handle the product? And what is your attitude dealing with customer’s complaints? Maybe I understand that PS5 has very limited stock it is not easy to replace. But at least I can have a apology. Bestbuy you’d better train your staff how to properly handle your stuff.

We went to this location to upgrade our phones. We have sprint and our last upgrade was through Sprint. Normally we upgrade through Best Buy, not sure why we didnt last time. However, the upgrade through Sprint was horrible and we shouldve listen to our gut and continued through Best Buy. This time we went through BB and the experience was great! Friendly staff, knowledgeable and quick! I dont think an upgrade has ever been that fast! Happy with our decision!

Absolutely terrible. I ordered a wall oven back in February to be delivered in May- just got pushed back again to the end of this month. Customer service was unhelpful. Since the store is no longer accepting calls, I was put through to a call center and put on hold multiple times. After all that, the representative said there was nothing they could do. The representative seemed unnappolgetic to the situation saying this is happening to everyone. I dont see how a reputable company would take our money and make a commitment and then not uphold that. Would have expected better from Best Buy. Update two weeks later. After hours on hold, still no wall oven and still no answers. Total lack of accountability

The selection is not quite as broad as I would like; I came in looking for a 230w laptop power supply, and I could only find power supplies up to 90w, which proved to be insufficient. However, the customer service was beyond reproach; sales associates were extremely attentive and helpful, and helped me find what I needed, insofar as what I needed was available to be had.

Not the best, best buy thats for sure. Went there over the weekend. It was not busy and they had plenty of staff. Unfortunately 4 of the staff members were just standing around talking and didnt help until another employee came over to them and instructed them to help people. When I was finally helped they didnt have what I wanted in stock. I asked if any other locations carried what I was looking for and a employee just pulled out his phone and googled it. Didnt go to the inventory computer and look. He googled it, then told me he could order it for me. Thats not what I asked and I could have done that. This is about the 6th time I have been to this location and I always seem to have issues. From misinformation to pure laziness. I will not be returning nor supporting them in anyway. Remember this when you go out of business best buy.

Dan who was supposed to help me and my boyfriend buy a new phone was extremely rude. I tried to use a 10% off coupon on not the Apple phone but a phone case and a screen protector. He told us it wasn’t going to work. I asked him to please just give it a try. His words “great let me just void this transaction” sarcastically and whispers “ yep that’s what I told them. ” He then started aggressively typing on the keyboard and we decided to just cancel everything and leave. I do not recommend anyone to come here because no one should be talking to customers like he did.

I went to the Westland store and they told me they didnt have much selection and anyone that knew much about what they had as far as car stereos they told me they moved all their techs to the Novi store and I should go there if I want to buy a radio I went to the Novi store and they were out of most stereos and said they could order one but that was it, I am going to try to go to Mickey Shore and see whats election they have.

They have amazing customer service, as soon as I walked in the door I was promptly greeted. Then as I shopped through the store ( around Christmas 🎄 time) almost every associate offered to assist me at each department Best Buy is absolutely my go to place for electronics. The only thing I dislike is the store in Novi moved (from the mall to Haggerty Rd., so it’s further away and the closest one to me is still 25 minutes away 😭

Absolutely terrible. I waited in line for at least half an hour to try and convince someone to put a screen protector on an Apple Watch. No one can do it. They suggested I go to geek squad and geek squad wanted to charge me 8 dollars so that they could guess and how to put on a tiny little screen protector. I said absolutely no freaking way went back to the technology center and again waited another 20 minutes before I just decided to walk out. Absolutely so unprofessional and no one was helping or making even an effort to help at all. Don’t even waste your time go somewhere else.

I went in to get ink for my printer, and the employee helping me suggested I have my ink sent to the store and said he would call whenever it came in. After a week I want up to the store after I didnt get my phone call and they had a hard time finding my order. Once they finally located it, and I went home, I discovered that they ordered the wrong ink for me. Now, I have to drive all the way back up to the store, explain to them what happened, and have them order me the correct one. In addition to this Ill have to wait who-knows-how-long for my ink just so I can print off my college homework assignments.

This was my first time in this store in a while and it was a pleasure to be back. They have made some changes most notably the movie, or more to the point the lack of a movie section, and their Kitchen section. Movies, come on, we all get it not many people buy movies. I do but Im a rare breed here. But the kitchen section. Wow! What a makes improvement. Elegant stylish and impressive. And the person I spoke with was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I was looking at induction tops and he was able to answer all my questions and recommend many more things. He even got me thinking about things I hadnt considered. If you are looking for kitch appliances go here and be prepared to be blown away. And just saying, go induction 98% efficiency unparalleled control and cooking.

ZERO Stars. Absolutely dreadful experience from a delivery stand point. Great help inside (5 Star). But dont buy anything that requires delivery in the winter. Bought four kitchen appliances. Three were delivered no problem. An hour later we see the truck that has our Fridge (separate delivery apparently), I step outside to waive guy over (live in a condo, sidewalks are always clear). Last delivery of the day he takes a picture of the light dusting and climbs into his truck and leaves. I literally called to him and he ignored me. There was an alternate route he could have used, but he didnt talk with me about anything. I got a call from his dispatch saying he left the walk way wasnt clear. I told dispatch their guy never talked with me, if he had he would have seen the alternate walkway that was 100% fine). The next day I scheduled delivery for the upcoming Saturday over the phone (cant take every day off work for a fridge). Saturday came and I had not received any calls, so I called Best Buy and they said I wasnt on their schedule. I referenced the case number that spoke to the Saturday delivery and they were perplexed. Here I have been juggling contractors at my home so things line up properly. I want the heavy appliances in before we put the stairs in. And Best Buy has delayed this completion of my other work by 2 weeks now. Everything was supposed to be done by Christmas. Thanks to Best Buy, that wont happen. This is god awful. Best Buy is fine unless you need something delivered. Garbage experience. They suck.

Overall we had an ok experience buying the product we wanted. Most of the people were very nice and helpful. However one star for the rude staff named “Jordan” who completely ruined our experience. When we asked if he was a Bestbuy staff(since there were multiple hp and google staff there so we were a little confused), he didn’t say anything and only looked down at his Bestbuy shirt. Very unprofessional as to imply our question is dumb. When we ask where we can find an adapter, he only turned his head and nodded towards a direction without saying anything.

I’ve had a Best Buy card for years. Recently a bad experience. I spent about $800 and wanted to put it on my Best Buy card. The salesman told me that if I wanted I could get a visa Best Buy card and all my purchases would be 18 months anything on the visa zero interest. Lo and behold I wanted to make sure. And after spending on my visa outside the store I decided to make a call. 26% interest the only 0% interest is Best Buy purchases.? I can do that with my Best Buy card scammed me on the visa. Not happy. I will be cutting this visa up in about two minutes. Why would somebody with 800 credit score is 126% card. I don’t like the scammers to try to get bonus points on my behalf. I’m sure there are encouraged to push this. Too bad

I dont usually review chains because you typically know what to expect going into them. Im currently in the market for a new camera and have done my own research but wanted to try a few models in person. The staff member in the camera department was extremely knowledgeable about all different brands and was able to provide some insights that I hadnt considered. If you are looking to buy a new camera I would recommend this location as a great place to get some honest information and no pressure shopping experience.

Other than the sales guy being a little snarky about the cost of the TV we were purchasing, they did very well under some pretty extraordinarily rough circumstances. They had a very long line when we arrived on Tuesday, 12/1 at roughly 6:45 p.m.. Thought that was odd; turns out they only had a handful of employees that showed up that day and they were doing their best to control the crowd. They moved people along fairly well and kept waiting customers informed, which was extremely helpful. Kudos to the team for doing the best job they could under the circumstances they were dealt.

Definitely not “Best Return” or “Best Customer Service”. Their return policy is awful. Target didn’t have the item I needed (a food processor), so I bought it from Best Buy. The item does not work. I attempted to return the product two times; once I did not have the receipt and the other time I arrived at 7:20. Which was 20-minutes after their Covid closing hours. For my 3rd attempt, I was told that they would not return the item, because it was past their 15-day return policy. Target offers a 90-day return policy. It’s Target for me from now on.

Bad day for Best Buy service. I bought a television at one Best buy which was supposed to be ready for delivery at a different Best Buy two hours later. 4 hours later it still wasnt ready and a very rude BB employee snidely remarked that I was going to have to wait until I received an email saying it was ready rather than help me find the item for which I had already paid. It was the night before Thanksgiving and the next day the store was scheduled to be closed so it was especially important to fill the order.

I met with Jim today to go over appliances for my first home. I am a first time home buyer and he was the best. He helped me get a great deal (I checked Home Depot, Lowe’s, ABC) on all the products I bought. He had a discount on appliances if I bought all of the same kitchen appliances, cherry on top.
