I love The Body Shop! My skin is super sensitive and they have the best products to help. It just sucks that I have to drive 45 minutes to get to one....online isnt always the best way to shop.

After hearing awesome comments about a store product by the name of Drops of Youth, I decided to stop by The Body Shop at Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi, Michigan and check things out.I must say, I was pleasantly surprised at all of the clean and wholesome items stocked on the shelves such as cosmetics, skin care and my personal favorite, sweet and fruity scented lotions. Instantly, I fell in love and added The Body Shop to my list of favorite places to shop. This store has everything a gal(guys too) could ever want!In fact the only thing that could use a little bit of improvement at this establishment is the customer service.While I was in the store I figured I would ask for a sample of the “Drops Of Youth” serum because it has my friend’s skin looking absolutely gorgeous but the lady at the counter by the name of Emily said,” we don’t give samples but if you’d like to try some of the product on while you are in the store that would be okay”. I found Emily’s response to be odd because I knew for a fact The Body Shop does give samples because it was via a sample that my friend was given the opportunity to try the Drops Of Youth product. I then asked Emily if she was sure about the no sample policy? Then Emily said, “well we don’t have anymore containers, we are only given a total of 500 sample containers and we’re out”. I said okay, I will go into the mall and find a small sample container for you and sure enough I did, Nordstrom’s was kind enough to give me one.I went back to The Body Shop and gave the sample container to Emily, begrudgingly she took the container walked over to the Youth Serum and LITERALLY put 2 small drops in the container as if she was taking the sample from her own personal stash or something. I thanked Ms. Emily and left the store.

Every team member Ive talked to at this location has been very kind and helpful. They must have a great training program because everyone that works here is very confident and knowledgeable. I have sensitive, red, blotchy skin and the workers here have suggested some really helpful products for my skin type.

I don’t know what the below comment person is talking about - but Emily is a freaking rockstar and has done her research. I’ve been coming to TBS for many years and seeing Emily inside I know I’m going to get the full customer experience, especially driving far just for my vitamin C moisturizer. Which is freaking bomb . com

Oh Body Shop how I love you. Your staff is so helpful and friendly and your sales almost fool me into thinking Im saving money. I dont care that you trick me because your face masks make me so happy and your body butters are so lovely. I want all the Moringa things. I could (and have) spent an hour in your shop opening, smelling, and sampling your goods.

My wife and I went to the one at 12 oaks Emily was extremely helpful and polite. Very knowledgeable.

Nice place and wide range of selection. We are using these products since 6 years. The shopping staff helps you make the right choices. Thumbs up!!!

Absolutely love this store it is absolutely amazing and Christmas time its absolutely beautiful I took my daughter to get her pictures done with Santa and they turned out amazing my experience and my daughters experience was absolutely amazing would definitely go back

Manager was very rude because my daughter wanted to use change to purchase her $5 in bath bombs. Then when we were still close enough she said to the cashier that she should have refused my 8 year old daughter service. I will never shop here again...

Friendly staff and Great products. The body butter is excellent and moisturizers skin that has been in a pool 4 days a week.

I used Tea Tree Oils for years. The pimple will goes away when you apply Tea Tree Oils for 2-3 days.

Found the most amazing smelling body oil smells like honey

Very nice store . The staff was very helpful. They have vast variety of soaps and creams which I love . I accidentally dropped a bottle and it was broken. I felt so bad . But the sales associate said “it’s okay”. Thank you for your wonderful service .
