Made an appointment at 3:30 p.m. for tire service, my right passenger rear tire was losing air approximately every 5 to 6 days. Brought my vehicle in, the technicians inspected it and determined that previously the tire had already been plugged so they couldnt replug a plug in a tire and gave me a couple of options. I asked which brand of tire is comparable to the ones I currently have on the vehicle and when it was told to me thats the one I went with. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Great staff, great experience couldnt ask for a better outcome.

Wish I could no stars. I shouldnt have to wait two hours for them to change my tires. I had an appointment at 11 and didnt get my car in until 12. Because someone else came in after I dropped it off and they took them first. Poor experience and it sounded like they over doing the impact. My lugnuts and studs better be fine. I am never ever come back here!

These guys are TOP NOTCH!! A couple of weeks back I had a random blow out on my tire just before 5pm on a Saturday (everything closed at 6pm for the weekend) and after trying another shop down the street and being turned away because it was too close to closing time (said they could sell us a tire but wouldnt mount or balance it, wed have to come back on Monday for that...at 5:13pm)...we called Pep Boys next, Ismael took our call and encouraged us to come on over! He met us at the door with a smile and was ready to get to work. We were in and out in like 20 minutes, and even with the storm bringing in heavy rain he carried our tire out to the truck! What!!Dana, the Service Manager, was very thorough with going over paperwork and explaining options for extra services like roadside assistance, insurance on ALL of my tires even if not purchased there, etc. and really just took excellent care of me and did not pressure me at all. Both of these guys were super friendly and professional, which is so rare these days! As a Realtor, my car is my mobile office and a huge component to my livelihood, they saved me from having to cancel my whole weekend and now I have peace of mind with roadside assistance, I cannot thank them enough! Will refer this shop to everyone I know!!

We first stopped at a few other mechanics in the area and none had the time to help.Pep Boys got our car right in, located the problem and changed the starter.Staff was super friendly and kept us entertained while we waited.Larry and Jim particularly made our visit less painful and turned a bad situation into a pleasant one.Very happy with the service here.

Dana seem to be a real nice gentleman straight up front to the point an extremely wants to make sure your car is safe. And if you need to leave your car he makes sure you have a ride to work and back to get your car.

This shop is incredible, and Dana was out of this world helpful. You just don’t see this kind of care, quality, and customer service anymore. I was stranded with two flat tires in Ocala with an hour and half commute to get back home. It was early evening, and Dana said if I got a tow over to his shop they’d stay open past closing time to wait for me and put new tires on. He was the only shop called who would help me. I got to Pep Boys and Dana took care of everything with the utmost care, cost savings, and hospitality. For my future car needs, I’m going to make the commute to Ocala. Dana and this Pep Boys shop are exceptional!

I came to this location after an incident experienced at the 200 location in which that store did not want to change my tires for not showing receipt. In calling this store they informed me that they are able to change tires as long as tires are bran new and it has sticker on the tire. called the Pep boy store on Silver Springs and they informed me that they are able to change the tires without receipt. So once I confronted supervisor, Mac, about it he then changed his story to say that each store has different policies and his didnt allow for the change without receipt. Needless to say I went to the Silver Springs, Pep boys and they were able to change my tires no problem and even did it free of charge for the incovenience.Im thankful to the employees at the Silver Springs blvd location and their professionalism and not making me feel like I was dealing with stolen merchandise.

We were visiting friends in Ocala. During our 6 hour drive, our car started acting up, so I took it to the guys at Pep Boys to run a diagnostic check. They had a packed schedule but made me a priority since we were not from the area. After checking the car over, they found the issue -- a bad fuel pump — and called to tell me there was an active no charge recall from the manufacturer. Even though they had time and labor involved with finding the issue, they didn’t charge me anything and said that I should take the car immediately from their shop to the Kia dealership down the road. I really appreciated their honesty and also their willingness to squeeze me in, even though they were extremely busy. I would highly recommend this location to anyone in the area.

All I have to say is, This is a stand up shop to go for tire mount and balance. I ordered tires from tire rack and had them delivered for installation. Dana and the men were on top of it from the beginning. They are very friendly, Knowledgeable, and helpful. I will be going to these guys from here on out when I need anything for my vehicles. Our daughters were traveling from Lakeland to Ohio with three babies in the car. Soon after leaving they realized they couldnt charge their phones or use the portable DVD players for their children. My daughter called the store on College Avenue and they were rude and unwilling to help. My husband called this store and spoke to Larry who was very kind and understood the urgency in getting a fuse for the car. My daughters showed up and they fixed the problem within minutes. Larry went above and beyond for two worried parents. He set our minds at ease knowing that we would be able to keep in touch with our daughters on such a long drive with three babies.Thank you Larry for being there for our family.

Way overpriced! Wife brought in Honda mini van for power steering pump and hose, estimate $1700 [parts not on hand],PARTS STORE, I was calling other places while she was in store.Tires plus $800 out the door [parts on hand]Duh! Do the math. Never entering any Pep Boys ever again. Tires Plus on Pine ROCKED IT OUT SAME DAY AS PEP BOYS APPOINTMENT A SUNDAY!!!

The manager was very nice, but when I went to pick up my car another guy named Tygar cashed me out and very rudely took another man who came in the door AFTER me ahead of me, ignoring me all along. He made me wait forever. Very unprofessional and bad customer service. I was very surprised at the audacity. If you have to do business with them ask for the manager himself. Good luck!

I totally trust Larry and the guys, whenever I bring my vehicle in they explain exactly what is going on and how much it will cost before anything is done. If I have any questions they answer them for me and explain so I can understand. I will definitely continue bringing my vehicle back to the gang at Pepboys.

Came in today for an oil change. I was told it’ll take an hour before they can get to my vehicle. Which wasn’t a problem but the mechanic informed that it’ll take another hour to do my oil change. Never have I ever went somewhere where they took a whole hour to change oil in a car.. Went to take 5 right down the road & they did it within 20 minutes.. not sure if Pepboys was understaff but waiting 2 hours for an oil change is absurd. Definitely lost my business.

Owner was very honest and informed me to go to the dealership since service wanted was probably covered by my warranty. I appreciate the honesty and will consider using this place in the future. Thanks so much!

Back in September my boyfriend visited this location for a fuel pump replacement and it was probably one of the worst experiences we had ever had when dealing with a vehicle. Last night the very same fuel pump went out and we had it towed back to Just Brakes (warranty reasons). We are so glad we did. The new management is absolutely wonderful! Harrison was so eager to help us and took care of getting the part replaced in a very timely fashion. He answered every one of our questions and took his time breaking down our invoice after the job was completed. When we went to pick up the vehicle there was a slight confusion in pricing but instead of getting upset or annoyed with us, Harrison did everything he could to make sure we left happy and returning customers. Quenton was up front when we picked up the vehicle also, he was a very nice guy who was so nice and very professional. The Just Brakes employees we had the pleasure of dealing with were wonderful and I highly recommend you using their services. If you were like us and dont want to return to this location because of previous experiences, trust me, its a completely different atmosphere, attitude, and experience the second you walk through the door. Did an online purchase so I thought, but come to find out that I entered my card information for no reason ONLINE, they dont accept PayPal I guess?!?...So I go to the counter and theyre telling me that I owe $$ for the tires that I had already paid for???? _ Now I had to swipe my card in store which totally defeats the whole purpose of doing this online, I wasnt real enthusiased knowing there could be a possibility for a scammer to get ur information, or card numbers and thats not something Im comfortable with...

Nothing special, but good service

I took my car to this location because I heard a noise and figured it was the appropriate place to get it check out. I called ahead and asked about their appointment availability and I was told they could see me as soon as I arrived. From the moment I pulled into the parking lot, I felt very attended to; there was a technician at my car door in incredible timing to greet me and get and ask about the issues I was experiencing.Once my car was in the air, they brought me over to show me what was wrong with my brakes as well as an overall check up on the health of my engine. They were patient with me while I tried to understand what I was being told and then they helped me figure out the best route for repair. The manager, Dustin, is the reason Id return for any future services I might need. He was very personable and he helped me understand everything I needed to as well as some intermittent entertainment with his lively personality.All in all, my experience at Just Brakes was above and beyond and I will recommend them to everyone I know. Great company, great manager, and great repair work because my problems are all fixed and covered under warranty!

Larry the store manager reached out to me and helped me understand that I got high quality tires and road hazard for if my tires get damaged by something on the road it is replaced free. Went to this one for first time and was nice not to have pushy sales people. Yes, you need to know what your car needs but no is no and its nice they leave your decision alone. Its your car, your money, your decision. Friendly quaint setting. So far I will return.

I was very please with the service I received from Just Brakes. The staff was very helpful, nice, and entertaining while I waited. I came in after work to have my calipers replaced, during the process the parts were wrong and had to request different ones, they stayed after hours until it was finished (greatly appreciated it since I was leaving the next morning to go out of town for a funeral). The prices were also reasonable. Would highly recommend them to people.

After Pep-Boys and the dealer wanted $400+ for brakes, I didnt know who to turn to in order to get affordable brakes. Until I found Just Brakes, my estimate was less than half the cost of the other two companies and I even went ahead and had a little bit of extra work done on my car as well. Theyre honest, and actually showed me the parts that needed replacing and why they needed replacing. They were friendly and worked on my car fast and did a good job. Im very happy with them and its great to have one less worry knowing that if my car ever needs servicing, I can always go to Just Brakes.

Im sitting here in the lobby as we speak and McMullin who works at this branch at the front desk literally paid for a tire out of his own pocket to make an unhappy customer(No grounds or reason for him to be unhappy in the first place) happy with his experience. Let the buyer beware. This location is a ripoff place. I had a slow leak They tried to tell me that I needed a new tire, that they could not fix mine because of something wrong on the side wall of the tire. They want $168.00. I drove off and went to Discount brakes on Baseline road. A Cooper tire dealer. They removed the nail and cost me $15 plus a tip.Dont be scammed !!!

Came for oil and filter change at 2:30 pm today(they close at 6pm or 5pm) and the person at the counter told me that he could not do it today because all the customers that were waiting( there were only two cars in front of me). For me the honesty and willingness to help will make me come to a bussiness and trust my vehicle to you. Will never come back.Instead I headed to another Peb Boys 3.5 miles away on College Road Ocala and they took my car without hesitation.

We went in to have brakes done. We were told the brakes were fine, but that we needed the front end redone. Rods and arms replaced for hundreds of dollars. We picked up our car from their lot after hours a few days later. We smelled a burning coming from the car. Tried to drive car home and we opened the hood to find burned wires that had melted and took car back. Manager said they did not touch anything electrical and a mechanic agreed. My wife started talking to another mechanic who just arrived at work and he told her they left the hood up overnight and killed the battery si thay jumped it or charged it overnight forgetting to turn it off. It fried the alternator and battery. Pep Boys didnt want to deal with it, but eventually replaced only the alternator. After picking up the car the last time, there was a bad noise constantly unless we applied the brake. Took it to a different shop which told us we needed new brakes. Funny how Pep Boys told us we didnt need brakes, but got us to spent hundreds and had our car for 2 weeks, only to make our lives a living hell!

Stopped in here right before closing on new years day, Tillis and the shop guys stayed late and helped me out with a tire balance issue. I was hours from home on a 1500 mile trip, so they really saved my week!

Get them to write down the specific list of specific parts they put in your vehicle. Get an exact quote for the cost of the work BEFORE you tell them to go ahead with the work.

In need of an oil change and an overall safety inspection I found a great deal going on at Just Brakes #631 Ocala. I made the appointment and was taken in right on time the wait time was very acceptable and service was very good. Several items were pointed out that i knew needed to be taken care of. Stopped in with an air leak, the found 2 nails in one tire and it couldn’t be safely repaired. We had an odd ball size tire which they ordered for me and didn’t charge me for the work they did to make tire safe till new one comes in. Great staff 🇺🇸

Just left this dump about 15 minutes ago. Came in to the shop at 2pm its 7:12pm now. They had one guy pretty much doing all the work bouncing from 3 different vehicles. All i had done was brakes . The shop manager just walked around. Talk about horrible customer service. Will never advise anyone to do business with these idiots. Will be making a complaint to corporate first thing monday morning. Oh n whats even worse there was still a customers truck being worked on when i left n all he was getting was rear rotors n pads, n he was at the store before us. STAY CLEAR OF THESE PEOPLE WHATEVER YOU DO!!!

IT WASNT PEP BOYS AUTO when this was written....My wife took her car in because of a squeaky front brake, after inspection of the car she was told she needed new rotors both sides, new calipers both sides, new ball joints both sides, of course brake pads, and a new serpentine belt. and a bill for $900 +... Never let your wife go alone the rotors and pads is really all that car needed, I saw the old ball joints and calipers and they were fine, of course new ones look pretty..also the serpentine belt had no cracks on the top of the belt. She refused the belt, but the finial cost was still close to $800.00...and then to top it off they broke the Hub Cap for one of the wheels and didnt tell her, they just stuck it in the back seat floor on the passengers side. She thought she had lost it days later and we only found it after ordering another one. Would not recommend this place after this experience

I have been going there for a while. The staff is kind and explains my vehicle problems very well. For me, the time they spend on my vehicle depended on what the problem was that they were fixing.

SLOOOOOOWWWW is the only word i can use. Did they do they job...yes...did it take way over the time they told me...yes. No concept of time and no organization. For $99 i guess that is what you get, but i do everything myself. Today i didnt have the time, but the time i wasted, i would have had to time. Unsatisfied, i wont be back for anything.

Hate going to the mechanics because of the hagglers desperate to make a buck? This place is your worst nightmare. Sent my girlfriend over to just brakes for the to good to be true $99 brakes. All said and done itll be $295. Not quite the $99 as promised on website. Went over to ammco for $160. Save yourself the hassle, dont go here.
