My significant other and I are on a road trip down to Fort Myers Beach from Minnesota. We started to notice the car was shaking like crazy and the sound from the drivers side tire was becoming louder by the mile. We stopped and noticed the lug nuts were falling/broken off. We contacted AAA and Kalli Towing came out(highly recommend). The gentleman pointed us in the direction of Walts Brake and More. They got the vehicle finished and on the road within 3-4 hours of the shop opening! Amazing. Thank you for your honesty and hard work!! Highly recommend.

Walts was recommended to me. I went there with a brake problem. NOT!Im here from WI with a 24 yr old Lexus...the salt ate up my wheelwell and collapsed it on my wheel. Walts guys removed it, plus they found a screw in my tire.All good...will recommend Walts to everybody.Really nice people!

I have had a very intermittent problem (like 1 every 200-300 times) with my car not starting. Not even the Honda dealership could pinpoint the problem. But Walts gave a great effort, worked to find the problem for several hours. And when they were unable to pinpoint the issue, they didnt charge me anything for the effort.

Broke down on Saturday 5/22. Towed to Walts but they were closed. Spoke to Shelly who was very professional. Got derails and quote later from Eric. News was terrible but was given in a professional manner. Repair job was engine replacement and was cheaper elsewhere because I had a personal connection. I recommend Walts. Thanks again.

I love my experience with Walts brakes and more. I had a bad tie rod end and while during the free inspection they noted that my upper ball joint was bad too.They gave me a fair price and stuck to it parts costs were a little high but understandable.I dropped it off yesterday and it was finished off today, I really enjoyed the expedient and professional service I received here.

We had a tire explode after gradually shedding all of its tread as we were tooling along in the left lane of I75 south.C&M Towing dispatched Turbo, an engaging and most helpful fellow who not only had us on the back of his flatbed in short order, as the day was growing short, delivered us to Walts Brakes.Shortening the story, the tire disintegration had done some significant damage to the wheel well and associated gear. A call, immediately, to the local dealer disclosed that the part most immediately needed was no longer available.A couple of other calls, and a drive-by of a salvage yard (which was closed on Mondays, explaining the lack of an answer to that call) showed us that we were out of luck for that day.Shortly thereafter, just before closing, we were delivered to Walts. Attempts to secure a rental car unsuccessful, we sought a motel - to which one of the employees took us on his way home! Talk about service...Furthermore, while this was not really their business (other than that they sold tires, too), they took on the repair instantly, wanting to get us back on the road.While we attempted to find a rental car the next day, Walts dug right in, and before we found a rental, had us in roadworthy condition, including the several unseen damaged parts removed and replaced.So, long before we expected, and without the need, now, for a rental car, our bumper-cover-less car and we were back on the road.Kudos and Bravo Zulu to Walts, Rusty, and our innovative and relentless mechanic who not only got out the unseen-damaged (left with us for the insurance company inspection if needed) parts but sourced the needed replacements, and had them in such that we were back in Vero Beach FL (over 3 hours away) before dark.Very highly recommended, this Christian-based shop lived up to the quiet evidence of their service.Thanks again, Walts, and all associated - and when you next see Turbo, please also pass along our heartfelt thanks for expeditiously serving our need.

Took Ram in to see if it needed anything. Not on appointment and they got me in and out quickly. Honest and polite.

They wont make an appointment for the job. They said bring it in and leave it. We will get to it. And by the way we are running 3 weeks behind. I will not bring my vehicle and let it sit in his parking lot

Replaced the rear shocks on my car, at just over 100,000 miles, at a very reasonable price. Also spotted that the backup lights werent working and replaced the switch after getting my approval.

Saved my hide when my tire blew out on my way to work! The staff was very professional, and they made sure to inform me about the exact timeframe the job was gonna take up, which helped me plan what to do next. When it came time for me to choose my new tire, the guy explained each one to me in a clear fashion, so even I, who had NO clue about tires in general, knew which one I wanted. Even better, they made sure to do it as fast as possible- I was only in there for 30 minutes compared to the 2 hours Ive had to spend at Tire Kingdom. And they only did what I needed them to do- didnt even try to sell me anything else. It was only the tire. I hope that tire blowout-or God forbid, something worse- never happens again, but if it ever does, I hope it happens near these guys so I can work with them again!

Took time to investigate my fuel problem and offered a very reasonable price. Walts Brake has been a very dependable business in Ocala.

My RV was overheating and I had been to several places prior. They got me in and diagnosed the problem pretty quickly. They flushed the radiator, redid the hoses correctly and put on a new thermostat and fuel pump. They did a great job but need better communication with customer. Some times I felt I didnt know what they were doing. Communication is key especially for me.

Every time weve brought one of our vehicles into Walts we have been extremely satisfied with the results. Their mechanics are knowledgeable, professional & courteous, as is their office staff. And, they are honest! They will always be my go to shop for auto care. I highly recommend them!

Rusty is a very rude and sketchy man. I ended up spending 10,500.00 on a whole new fuel system with him and 2 months later my diesel stalled yet again with while I drove it with a message about. I have AAA and he guarantees his work for 2 years being a certified AAA place. When I called him, he got sketchy right away telling me he’d have to see what’s really going on to see if it’s related. I told him it was the fuel system and that he’d need to come get it. He sent someone to get it, which was 10min down the road, and even though he did have to change out something in the fuel system he told me I had to pay 464.00 for the tow down the street or I couldn’t get my truck!! Sketchy and very rude man!!

Walts corrected two very annoying problems with my RV. They had a lot of trouble fixing the dashboard unit but they persevered and my RV is running like a charm!! Thank you, thank you, thank you Rusty and Walts!!

Had it brought there by AAA to have the alternator replaced. I have the skill but not the time. They charged over $600. They said thats the price they need to charge to stay in business. I ask if they at least changed the serpentine belt since they had to remove it anyways. Their response was it looks good. I tell them it makes noise on start up. They said it has no cracks or wear. It starts sqweeling a two says later. Turns out they called my moms number associated with AAA, not the number I called and left for them to call and did the work anyways.Poor service overall.

Walts was able to tell me my oil pan was compromised from the collision of a rock from underneath. The suggestion that I file a collision claim from my insurance was a very good suggestion! As long as the engine was already apart, took care of other parts wisely replaced in a vehicle with 126,000 miles that I would like to drive for several more years. Very pleased.

Brakes and more as stated. A full service automotive repair. A bit pricey for my tastes (but Im cgeap). Excellent work. I had to have brake lines for my 1997 Lincoln Car fabricated.

Took my RV for pre-departure trip check. Found a couple things and took care of them while I waited. Needed parts they didn’t have but sent someone to pick them up. I feel confident I have found my go-to RV service provider. Would definitely recommend.

We had a death in the family. I was currently visiting my brother and I needed to travel from Florida to North Carolina urgently.My motorhome that I Purchased in April where I live in New Jersey had almost 7000 miles and 125 hours on the generator.Rusty was contacted by my brother who lives locally explain the situation and this firm said bring it in right away will do it right away.And they did exactly that at a reasonable price. I had a howling noise coming from my motorhome. Another local repair shop had diagnosed the noise as being the driveshaft carrier bearing and the replacement was going to be rather costly. Being Walts had worked on the motorhome before, I decided to have them look at it. Rusty called me and said that they had found a inner tire (it has dual wheels) with a hole in the sidewall. He suggested this be addressed first, as it could possibly be the problem. I am able to purchase tires at a discounted price through an RV organization I belong to, so Rusty said I should certainly take advantage of it. I was charged a modest fee flr their services and went and got a new tire. The tire was what was causing the noise.I admire the honesty and integrity at Walts Brakes & More and the next time I need service, I will just go there. They are fine people.

I recently had air conditioning work done on my 1996 Lincoln town car that required dismantling the entire dash and instrument panel. this was a 5 hour repair job of which I had my doubts that I would get the car back in the pristine condition that it was in when I dropped it off. it turned out that I had nothing to worry about. I cant even tell that even one screw was removed let alone the entire dash. air / heat is working great---I also had 4 new tires put on my car. they had the entire job completed on time and a few dollars under the estimate.great job!!!

First of all I am 63 yoa, so this is not my first dealing with an auto shop. However, it is by far the worst experience EVER! We were about to head cross country with our fifth wheel and truck. The fifth wheel was a 2013, and the truck brakes had been done within the last year. We asked for all the brakes to be checked, and the oil changed in the truck. This took Walts a day and a half. They replaced one brake assembly on the fifth wheel, and the brake controller. When I left Friday at 6pm they hit me with an $1800 bill! He said that my stuff was all they had been able to do in the last day and a half. I guess that is why they are continuously advertising for help. They charged 2x what the brake controller would have cost at a large RV chain. It would take me too long to describe all the over charges. However, if you want to contact me I will spend the time. While his son was figuring the bill, Walt kept telling him to take his time, that haste makes waste. I guess that meant...He also kept telling us how we were making him late for a dinner date, trying to make us feel like we were putting him out. I sent them a detailed email, going over the many errors, and over charges on the bill, and asked them to reconsider. I never got a reply. Im not one to submit reviews, but wanted to sound a warning. This isnt the veteran respecting, good old family business they claim. I am a veteran, and had just retired from law enforcement in a neighboring county. That did not keep them from giving me the worst experience I have ever had with an auto shop. Im thinking the overly positive reviews I read, must be friends and family. Their poor quality work resulted in me selling the fifth wheel six months later. Later I was speaking with a major parts supplier rep, and bought Walts up. He said oh no, not another Walts story. He was from the general area.

We cant say enough, great service, accomadating we needed a ride home they didnt hesitate. and went out of their way. we got honest quote. with in 48 hours on service work.

They are closed on the weekend, other than that they are excellent, fast, and knowledgeable.

We stopped in Ocala in out Tiffin Buss and our Jacks and Slides stopped working. We called Walt and he said be here at 730 and we will fit you in. We also had them do a complete service. When it took longer than a day Rusty hooked us up to power so we could spend the night on site. The only replaced what was needed and charged us way less than was quoted by others in the area. Rusty worked us in June 2017 for major brake failure on our Diesel Pusher motorcoach. Gave us Electric hookup for two night and replaced rotors, calipers, pads and seals for very fair price.Seals were not doing a great job on oil hubs. Emailed Rusty when we were returning to Florida in September, he brought us in on OUR schedule, replaced inner seals, oil soaked pads and polished up rotors (total disassembly) and had us back on the road by 2PM UNDER WARRANTY.Lots of locals getting normal and custom services coming and going; also commercial vans & trucks. We put our home in their hands and have full faith we can now bring the 40,000lb beast to a safe stop. Thanks Rusty and crew.
