Pretty good visit this time. LKQ as a whole is not on my favorite list every since theyve gotten rid of their rewards program (literally overnight) and increased their prices across the board at all locations.🀬 Lines arent long here, but if you see something you want here dont wait too long if it is s higher end or rare vehicle.Dont forget to get the stock number or they wont let you check out now. You can find it online though, but you have to look at the vehicle on that specific locations site.

Great place to find parts for your older vehicles if you dont mind them used, having to disassemble and find yourself. $3 entry fee, but parts are priced very reasonable. You should know what youre looking for and should be able to test on-site if needed. Although they do offer a 30 day guarantee and optional (for a price) 90 day I believe. I have found parts here for my vehicles that are a fraction of new or used from other dismantlers online or in house. Best to use their website to give your an idea if they have what youre looking for and vehicle location on the lot.

The coolest feature here is.... they can cross reference your car to other manufacturers vehicles with interchangeable parts..!That means you CAN find GMC parts for your Chevy, or Ford parts for your Lincoln... SUPER HELPFUL..Just go ask at the window.. IT WILL make it easier to find what you came for...

Had so much fun never been to a junk yard before so it was a first time for me and I could of stayed there longer I was very intrigued. Hands got little dirty but what can I say after all we were at a junk yard. They do have a spot to wash your hands so dont worry. But if you need a part for your car/truck/suv, you will definitely find it here. But make sure you wear sunscreen and a hat cuz it does it hot ant there is no shade just rows and rows of vehicles.

Not pleasant place to buy parts, the cashier girls will make up a price with out looking at the listed price. Also they want to sell you a warranty that used to be optional. LKQ head quarters will be notified. These cashiers make up their own prices in order to get their sales commission. Stay away from this place, better to go Chula Vista.

Sadly the business has been taken over by owners that have no idea what the surrounding communities needs are!!! These owners definitely dont want to pay their workers as shown by the unsafe conditions of the yard. Customers have taken it into their own hands by lift vehicles with engine hoists to be able to get to parts. These are parts that are underneath and inaccessible by the height placed by the employees of the yard. The vehicles that I often look for are often to close to each other to access certain parts. Almost 100% of the driveshafts in the truck yard are damaged by the forklift driver. This is something I would think someone might be interested in due to the price of a driveshaft? You might as well take the driveshaft off the price list?

Its true, the woman at the cash counter hates life and as all about sharing that with you via her poor attitude. This dreamy place consists of mostly overpicked old jalopies and beater cars. Youre lucky to find the car youre looking for, and even luckier if the part you need is still there. Its like an elephant graveyard out there. Yet, somehow, theyve successfully made a business out of selling this third grade junk for very high prices. Two plastic air vents, two little weatherstrips and a light = $40? Nope. After trudging through the dirty, hot, and chemically saturated isles of dirt and sand between the rows of cars, and then pulling the parts yourself, Id be willing too pay $10 for the lot. And no more. And this is all after you pay to enter. Just saying. Next time Ill be heading out of the city and east to the lands of scrapyards and junked cars. Where there is such thing as compitition, and where yards have the first dibs in fresh wrecks and newer selections.

I go to LKQ at least once a month to buy used parts for my Camry and Mini Cooper. LKQs website has several pictures for each vehicle they have in inventory. You can create an account and setup alerts that will email you when a particular vehicle is in their inventory. They rotate their inventory frequently, which is a major plus when. Youre looking for something very specific. Cost to get in is $3. Parts and warranties are very inexpensive.

This was a great place to try your luck at finding affordable parts. The first step downhill it took was maybe 10 years back when it changed names. At that time they stopped rain day sales and the overall prices increased. It was still decent until the recent price hike. My most recent experience their was in may 21 I spent time removing some sway bar links for my first gen Silverado they are basically a pair of long bolts with a spacer and 4 rubber bushings . Being used the bushing were very worn and 1 of the bolts was bent. No biggy I was still ok with buying them . When I got to the front to pay she says $52 I said huh? Then she says without warranty $48. Woah! I was shocked. Went down to AutoZone $7.99 brand new oily rubber and straight bolts. R.I.P. pick your part/Ecology you served me well, til now.

Today was really horrible spend a couple of hours pick up some parts for my cars and they wanted to charge me almost the same money as brand new ones from eBay. The part I wanted was $42 from LKQ and its $55 from eBay whats the point of getting Dory spending time taking the parts out and pay that kind of money isnt it better to order from eBay and then deliver it to your door? Let me just add one more thing for example fender from LKQ is $52 for Toyota Corolla 2004 from eBay is 62 dollars whats the point? Not to mention entrance fee to LKQ $3 LOL!!! So I left all the parts I picked by the counter and I leave, doesnt make any sense hope people please check the prices an Amazon eBay before you go there, thank you for reading!

Decent selection of sedans, however the entire place is a rip off. 1st- This is the first junkyard I’ve seen that charges you to even enter the junkyard. So even if the guy at the front tells you that they have the make and model and you go in and it doesn’t have the the part you need you still pay for viewing. 2nd- I bought 6 items 2 of which were plastic. On 5 I had to pay β€œcore” charges. If you don’t bring the parts back within 2 weeks you don’t get the refund.... the point of core charge is so the company can remanufacture the part or if the part posses a hazard to the environment(like a car battery). The fact that they put a short time limit shows that they neither care to remanufacture the part nor protect the environment, rather instead they do it to make another few bucks. I was never told about the 14 day requirement, and it is not written anywhere in the lot(I looked) the only place it is written is in the fine print on a 20inch long receipt I returned on the 15th day would not be given a refund. 3rd Prices are outrageous. If you do pay the entrance fee and manage to find a car with the part and return the old part and get your core refund, you are still over paying. If your have a Honda, Toyota, Nissan, etc don’t even bother, I found a brand new side view mirror with an electric motor for a Honda on eBay for 5$ less than in the lot. I also bought a used dinged up motor mount for 15$ and later found a 5pack( all 5 mtr/trns mount) for 35$ on eBay. Brand new, fresh rubber, and each part was half of what I paid. Call the number and ask how much they charge per part after core and after tax and then check online. You will pay less online or at the most you will pay the same but for a new part

Apparently they offer a warranty on items that you by there. What they dont offer, or at least didnt in my experience, is to tell you about it. I bought a $50 part, went right outside their gates to my car, and installed it. Turns out the one that I got was bad and didnt work. So, 20 minutes after I bought it, I tried to exchange it for a working one and they told me no. The woman at the booth argued that she told me when she didnt. I always buy the warranty. Always. So, had she offered then I would have had it. The fact is, though, that she was answering questions for someone else in the booth when she rang me up and did not offer a warranty or even tell me about it.I am attempting to contact someone about this and will update this if anything is done.

Not really excited after my experience at this pick-ur-part junk yard. Never been to one, this would be the first time for me and my boyfriend. It took us a good while to find our exact vehicle - to an avail we finally were able to locate the same make/model/year! Hence why I am deciding to give 2 stars. I was super surprised that it cost 3 dollars per person upon entrance.. wasnt expecting that so it put a bad taste in my mouth from the jump. This junk yard doesnt offer tools to help with the disassembly of the vehicles. Bummer. The cashier lady was prompt but very curt.. straight to the point. I was in shock when she mentioned the price of 61.58$ WHAT THE HELL?!?!? I had to get a front blinker light from a fender bender accident. A brand new PAIR of blinker lights and full housing online cost 14$-21$ shipped delivered and did I mention brand new... saved time effort sweat and hassle of searching and pulling parts apart to get to what you need. I also got one visor, 2 lights, and a front PLASTIC grille. The damn grilled cost me 20.75$ online this would of cost me 10$ brand new. Shipped for free and delivered to my front door step again minus the damn hassle. I went to further read my receipt and IT READS ALL SALES ARE FINAL. good lord. Im not sure why this place isnt bankrupt or out of business. But Im just beside myself with how pricey a JUNK YARD is. Key word is junk yard. The warranty is for 30 days I suppose. Upon reading further there is a 90 day option but that wasnt explained to me... the customer service at this place is so POOR I will not be returning at all. Never again will I decide to not purchase something online when I can go maybe get it for less and less time. I will not be returning here anytime soon. I do not like the lack of customer service. I do not like the prices of their JUNK vehicle items. I mean for goodness sake why rip people off once so you dont have return customers. I got the feeling because Im not of Hispanic origin my boyfriend and I were treated a noticeably different then those of Hispanic ethnicity. I hate pulling this card but Im going to calm it as I see it. And there was a sure difference in customer service delivery and quality of the service given to others of whom were Hispanic. Not cool. Bad business strategy. Blows my mind when business employ staff that want to act deliberately foul and openly create differnet styles/levels/kindness/thoroughness/etc treatment for different ethnicities. Lost this customer and got 2 stars..... beware of these penny pinching/price gauging/rip off/rude/distasteful customer service skilled waste of time junk yard employees/business. Skip the experience like I wish I would of... Welp.....

So if your white you wont get any deals here. I say this cause the roof rack they quoted me $200 I had to put back. A Hispanic gentleman outside heard me went in an got it for $25 and paid him for it. My wife went in thinking I miss understood show the receipt and they ask her if she was with that white gentleman. Not too bad...On the one hand, they have a good selection of vehicles, most are complete/nice enough to be usable for parts, and the layout is fairly well organized. This yard does not turn into a total mud pit like the yards down south by the border. They did a decent job of putting down gravel and grading to keep it passable when it rains. On the other hand, their prices are definitely too high. Also, the employees all have the personality of a wet paper bag and tend to border on just plain rude. The area is a bit sketchy, with all the weirdos living in their clapped out vehicles all around there. Ive had my vehicle broken into twice while in the yard....and of course no one working at the entrance or milling around saw anything. 😐
