INCOMPETENT AND OVERPRICED! Brought my car for brake and light inspection, didnt realize that side light didnt work and they offered to fix it. Charged $30 dollars to connect the connector to the bulb (took them 5 minutes - what a shame to charge like that). Problem is that they didnt bother to secure the inner fender liner and because of that it got scraped and now needs to be replaced!

Brought my Ferrari and my Lamborghini here, they did an amazing job on my cars and have the best customer service and are super friendly. I really recommend you people to go here👍🏽

If you want to be mislead and lied to while being charged $157 go here. Youve been warned.Wednesday, August 5th Follow up: Guess what Ive got my tag now. I didnt have to pay $157 + repair costs. I only paid $125 including the certificate and got same day service at a real repair shop that wasnt trying to take advantage of me and answered all my questions. This guy here wouldnt give me a straight answer about anything.Then he told me Id have to drive the car for a week. What a bunch of BS. If you need your Check Engine light dealt with and youve been told you need to complete a drive cycle. Dont waste your time and money, go to Romeros Radiator Shop, Mufflers and Auto Service in Oceanside. Youll be glad you did.

Excellent service, and friendly staff. They went out of there way to help me. My car broke down about 100 yards from the shop, and the owner, his wife, and son towed me in. Not many places out there, that will go the extra mile like they did. I certainly recommend this auto shop if you run into car issues.

So thankful this shop was recommended to me. They were very prompt on getting me in today without hesitation. I had an emergency with my car this morning that couldnt wait since Im 6.5 months pregnant and still working, I definitely need my car! Very fair and affordable price to pay, especially being in CA, and they were very respectful and took the time to explain everything they did in detail. Thank you, Ill be back!

The service at California Automotive solutions was exceptional. After researching prices in San Marcos, Vista, and Oceanside this was one of the more affordable shops. I came to get smog repair and Eduardo had my car ready within two hours. They discounted my smog test after repairs were made; highly recommend visiting this shop for quick and affordable repairs.

Brother-in-law recommended this place, and I am so glad he did. Customer service was swift and thorough. Eduardo was careful to elaborate on the process of the diagnostics with my vehicle--I even learned a couple things about how my battery and engine operate together. Battery needed replacing in the end, and they waived the diagnostic fee since I bought the battery on site. I highly recommend this little shop. The staff was kind and clearly take pride in their work. They are knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Will return in the future for sure.

First off they are awesome! I took my car 3 times to get fixed at Sears for the same problem and they couldnt fix it. I called around and everyone was telling me itll be one thing or another and itll cost over $500.. I took it to California Automotive solutions and they drove my car and fixed it the 1st time for a fraction of what other mechanics wanted. They were very friendly, honest, fast and very reasonably priced. Ill definitely be coming back for all of my car repairs 👍

Nice, honest and quick

I called and asked for pricing for a 95 truck. He says $70 but $10 off today so $60 ( its $51 + $8fee a block over). I get there and confirm price at $60 she says yes. Then she yes but its a truck so its $70, I said he already said $60 on the phone when I clearly said it was a truck. I come back half an hour later, he says it fails the gas cap pressure test. I ask how much does the cap usually cost he says $12-14, he sells it for $15. I later find out its $7.99 at autozone two blocks over. Ive never an into the issue before and it just passed a year ago, and I probably only use it once a month. He hassles me to decide to buy it elsewhere or buy it from him because he has another customer ( its only been 1 minute since he mentioned the failure). The price difference alone is not too big a deal, but with everything else I just cant help but wonder if the cap really failed so they can get the extra $10 that they wanted to charge. I keep the cap and the gasket looks perfectly fine to me but obviously its just a visual inspection. Service was fast, and receptionist was nice, didnt make a hassle over change ( 19 cents ). A little sketchy to me if everyone has gas cap failures here... so just making note for everyone.

Fast and honest

This is an awesome place to take you car, there are many places that say they give you quality service and dont this place is true to their word and does the best job they possibly can. Eduardo is a fantastic mechanic and is extremely knowledgeable in the Toyota Lexus side but also know a tone about everything else. i definitely 500% recommend this shop to ANYONE!!

Amazing service nice to see there is still a least 1 mechanic shop that isnt trying to screw its costumers. got my brakes done they got me in and out quick and honored their advertised special. I highly recommend.

They did a pre-purchase inspection on a car I was looking to buy. I dont know a lot about cars but they looked it over, drove it, and gave me a detailed explanation of what was wrong. They also explained how urgent each item was and gave me an estimated cost. 5 Stars.

My check engine light would come on intermittently, even though I checked my oil and all the fluids but I just could not figure it out. Called and made an appointment. It was something so minor they did not even charge me for it. I have found my new mechanics.

This is the only place I take my cars. Eduardo is most certainly trustworthy.
