About a year ago, I left my car in the morning and whole day stayed there. In the evening from work I called what happened and they said they couldnt do anything because car didnt work probably because of its battery and they were closing down in half an hour. He said how much it would cost the buttery and later he could check the problem. As it was last min. thing I was so angry. I called Uber . I was already half an hour away from that point and I had a meeting. I said I can change the battery (I did before) dont do it, I just wanted my keys (probably he was frustrated too when I said that). On the way I thought even it would be more expensive for me I was enough frustrated. And told him to change it and I paid what he wanted. But I realized that my four wheels were flat. I found it very strange. I put air 4 of them later and they never got flatten back! so somebody did it on purpose!I needed to find a mechanic this morning again. Because of the all good reviews and close to my home wanted to give another chance and then I remembered my flat wheels!! There are a lot more places to take...

Salvador and his crew are very professional, and will not rip you off. He provides honest assessments of what work might be needed, and beats dealership prices by hundreds of dollars. If theres a job he cant do, he knows someone who can and will refer you. Options are always provided like saying brakes or tires might last 20,000 more miles, and he will always let you decide what you want to do up front before doing anything. I was referred to Palomar Automotive by friends I trust, and would recommend them to anyone.

Sal is honest and up front. He will tell you what you need and give you a timeline on priority of what work needed, if any. Reasonable and fair prices.

Sal has been my mechanic for 4 of my cars over the years. Del Sol, IS300, Subie WRX, and Wrangler TJ. He has always given me a great deal on any work and is very knowledgeable about what is wrong with my cars. Highly recommended. He does get busy because he does most of the work himself or has a helper or 2 so be patient and be precise on what you want done.

Extremely honest, fast and knowledgeable. One of our familys favorite mechanics and we have had A LOT over the years. Sal always helps in a pinch.

Salvador saved my car today. Im so blessed to have came across his name on Google. I am out of town and no one could or would fix my overheating Honda Civic except him! I am so thankful for him. He was closing when I called and he did not mind staying late to fix my car for me and my children, while Honda service center just sent us on our way for my car to blow up saying sorry we close at 4 and its already 2pm. Thank you Salvador for being so generous with ur help and time. He fixed it in less then an hour and didnt take advantage of me cause I was desperate. Great price to pay for my car not blowing up ony 3 he ride home!! Thanks again
