Went in to this location in order to pick up my refill. Waited in line for about 15 minutes, which is not bad. But the medication was not ready even though I was told it would be ready an hour earlier than I arrived. When I explained this to the pharmacist she responded with, its a machine I don t know what you expect from a machine. Okay... So I asked then do you know what time I should come back? She responded with you dont have any refills, call your doctor because they arent answering. Again I said okay and left. 3 days later after finally having enough of this,since the doctor stated I did indeed have a refill left . I tried calling this store again. I waited over 20 minutes and never got an answer. So I called the Walgreens on Sycamore which answered within the first minute (impressive). I explained the situation and by magic they found I did indeed have a refill left and said it would be ready in 30 minutes. I went and picked it up and they had it ready. Moral of the story dont go to this pharmacy they are lazy and after reading other similar stories they also dont care about customers.

Sent a 90 day prescription there and they only filled a month and didnt tell me. My insurance does 90 day supply, I just would have had to take it to the CVS down the street (go figure). When I complained they told me there was nothing they could do, and referred me to the club price. They finally refunded after I got upset. Avoid this place like the plague. Awful staff, the managers the worst part.

The pharmacy is either overstaffed or understaffed but the customer service is poor. Prescriptions are never ready on time and even with express pay theres still a significant wait. Ive waited 45 minutes multiple times for prescriptions that were paid for and ready

Ive lived here for 5 years and I seldom visit this store as there is always some issue. I was there for 28 min waiting for a manager Renee to finish with another customer. I have no problem waiting but surprised to see someone with a managerial position that cant get their own department in order. Telling me she is missing the camera to take photos for a passport...how is that on me. Do your job manager and figure it out. While waiting and being ignored she also ignored a FedEx delivery man and a phone call. As I watched her move lazily throughout the 28 min it definitely solidified that not all managers should be managers.

I went to this Walgreens to pick up a prescription that I had called in from out of state. The pharmacy did a great job getting my prescription transferred. There was no hassle or worry whatsoever. This was a clean store also. I would recommend both the pharmacy and the store

The Pharmacy is a bit of a mess. The staff up front is nice and its a decent place to pick up some items, but Ive had nothing but issues with the pharmacy. I shouldnt sit on the phone for 45 minutes just to get looped through music and ringing to try and get a hold of a pharmacy. Id have a better chance getting through to the Pope.

Absolutely the worst Walgreens ever. They are extremely rude not just to me but my grandmother who is the sweetest person. Prescriptions are never on time always days late. Pharmacist are always covering up for the staff. We will be changing pharmacy. Never again if I could give no stars I would

If I could give them Zero stars I would!Terrible customer service and the pharmacy always takes at least 30min+ to pick up medication that is “ready for pickup”.For instance, today I went to pickup medication that was sent in 5 days ago and confirmed that it’s in stock (per dr office), told I had to wait 20-30min for them to fill one of the prescriptions.Absolutely ridiculous!!

Pharmacy and front end staff repeatedly put you on hold without even acknowledging the call. Sad thing is they dont know how to put the phone on hold fast enough before you can audibly hear them chit-chatting. Currently writing this as Im on hold for 16 minutes with the pharmacy line being put on hold at least 9 times without acknowledgement and 2 times with the front end on another phone.

Literally the worst pharmacy I have ever used. No one answers the phone, you will wait 45 minutes and still not speak to anyone, your prescription will never be ready when told, and when you go you’ll be stuck waiting in line for an hour or more while they probably fill all the prescriptions that were supposed to be done by a time they were told and wasn’t. Never coming back.

Had an appointment to get a Covid-19 vaccine. The refrigerator went out the night before our appointment and no one called to let us know they weren’t giving vaccines until later in the day, past our appointment time. Very disappointed I wasted my time.

DONT GET TESTED HERE!!! We had an Appt for COVID testing on Sat at 10:15am. We got in line for the drive thru test and took 2hours and 15 minutes!!! We had a flight for HI on today and had to rush and cancel everything yesterday because the lab they are using AEGIS has not received any of our specimen. We checked the lab results today and AEGIS still doesnt have our specimen!

After calling the pharmacy, I was on hold for forty-five minutes. I was the fourth person in the que. When it was my turn, the pharmacy tech picked up the phone, didnt say, hello, and hung up on me. I called back, asked my question and was put on hold for another fifteen minutes. Then she hung up me again, before ever answering my question.

Let me be clear the 5 star rating is for one employee only, Tezzie and Im writing this because I havent seen her in a while, she is the only reason my girlfriend and I still even go to that store. She is charming, always kind to us even when we are slow with information, she is always patient and takes her time helping us, even when they are busy she manages to help everyone around us and still give us the attention and help we need without wasting our time. Some of the other technicians dont seem to care about the customers and are just plain rude at times, the last time I visited the tech Juan was rude with an attitude, the others are judgmental and just seem annoyed we are there in the first place, Tezzie seems to be the only one who cared for us and made returning worth anything, we just hope she and her family are alright and hope to see her again

Going another day without my pain meds for a broken wrist because they gave me a 14 minute notice (before they close) to pick up my meds. They dont have their open hours posted any where. I didnt want to give out my number but she said I had to wait for them to call me. I just wanted to come back sometime in a 2 hour time frame.

I really dont understand how every time I call, EVERY TIME I have to wait 20 to 30 minutes just to speak to someone. And thats just assuming someone answers. There have been times where Im on hold for a half hour and they just hang up. Not to mention all the times where they created issues out of nothing further delaying my prescription refills. I really wish there was another location closer because I hate coming here.

Unfortunate frustrations with the pharmacy. I had an antibiotic prescription sent over Dec. 31st, they “closed early due to unforeseen circumstances” that day, were closed the 1st. I called several times on the 2nd but they were unable to fill the rx that day. So it took 3 days before I could pickup my antibiotic. Also, don’t plan on using the drive through to pickup prescriptions unless you can go after 1800-covid testing has the line backed up. I waited 45 minutes with a screaming baby in the car to pick up some prescriptions, only to give up bc we only moved 2 cars, I covered my baby up and take him inside crying to get the medications. I intended to use the drive through to avoid having to take my baby into the store bc of covid, but with 4 more cars in front of me, I have no doubt I’d have been in line for at least another hour or more. My husband has also had issues refilling his medication here literally every single time-plans to pick up 3 meds at the same time, shows up and 1 or two are ready but told to come back for the 3rd despite being told when we called that all 3 were ready. We’ve continued to use the pharmacy bc it’s so close to our home but are tired of the frustrations every time so we’re switching. We certainly wouldn’t recommend filling any prescriptions here.

I would rate the pharmacy 0 if it was an option. They are rude, continue to mess up my refills, and could care less if I got my prescription or not. My doctor had to submit refill requests several times before they would fill it. The tech kept telling me the doctor cancelled my prescription so sorry they’re can’t fill it. I have prescription that has been there for 5 months waiting for them to get their stock in. I’m done and changing pharmacies. I’ve given them a benefit of the doubt for too long!Don’t waste time this pharmacy.

My mother had surgery this morning and, despite the office calling in her antibiotic script directly to the pharmacist, it still managed to get logged into her Florida profile (not sure why they have 2 separate ones?) which hasn’t been used in 9 years. So after a 30 minute wait to hear that lovely news, I asked if it would be ready in 2 hours and was assured that it would be. Well it is 2 hours later and here I am at the window again after about 20 minutes of waiting and sure enough they ask me to wait another 20 minutes because it hasn’t been filled yet.

Called RX will be ready after 10am next day. Next day, sorry out of stock, will you please come back next day after 4pm. Next day 440pm, sorry not ready yet. Every time this happens, never get a call when RX is ready. Always wasting gas running back and forth. Walgreens is just bad with poorly trained staff.

I guess theres a reason why this store got 2 stars and thats really hard to do unless everyone thats rating the store is giving them 1 or 2 stars. My experience with the Pharmacy has been horrible the last three or four times Ive been there today in front of a crowd of people they tell me that my insurance dropped me. Long story short and after they ran it twice I finally get someone who knows what they are doing but still has the personality of a frog finally processes it but still tells me its my fault for not giving them the right insurance card and that my insurance has a pharmacy card that I should have given them. Okay well Ive been going here for 10 years with the same exact insurance and nothing has changed so the fact that they didnt have the information in their system is not my fault and I shouldnt have been blamed in front of other customers. Seriously if you dont want to be in customer service then go find a job where you dont have to interface with people. Such a disappointment. Please find a pharmacy like Costco where the people are happy to be at work and love their job.

If there was a possible negative star rating, I’d give it. My Walgreens closed, and against my better judgement I decided to traipse across town and follow my pharmacist. Big mistake. The customer service is so very poor here, no one cares, the staff attitudes are terrible, and it’s generally a horrible experience all the way around. I had a doctors office call with a prescription order before noon. I called at 3:00, it still wasn’t ready. By 8:45 pm, my medication was still not ready. No reason, no apologies, a flat, deadpan face “It’s not done. Come back tomorrow.” You’ve got to kidding me! I don’t tolerate poor service well at all, not at all. I called a competitor tonight and had them move every single prescription I get over. Absolutely disgusted. I get quite a few meds too, so their loss. If the rest of the Walgreens end up closing, then their terrible service is to blame. Avoid at all costs.

I mainly go here for the pharmacy because of the drive thru & I tend to get some other stuff inside. This review is about the pharmacy/pharmacist who I spoke with. So the question was about how much is my medication? The pharmacist said $300 without insurance & $150 with insurance. I inquired if there’s a generic brand (which is typically inexpensive compared to the actual brand name). The pharmacist basically said, “no, this is only it, & I ran it in the system & there’s no other generic brand.” So I called my insurance & inquired what’s covered & not covered & how much. Long story short, the insurance said the pharmacist never ran it through the system & their was a generic brand which was covered though my insurance. So the generic brand that’s covered would’ve cost me only cost $50 compared to $150. So with all that being said, I’m not going to get any of my prescription at this Walgreens anymore. So instead of buying it through Walgreens, I bought it somewhere else without insurance for the same amount of $50. If you think your prescriptions are too expensive, call your insurance to double check if the pharmacist is telling you the truth or not. They can also tell you where you can buy it whether it be online or at another pharmacy. So it could be a scam or their system isn’t working.

Do not use this pharmacy location unless need be. My son was released from surgery at Radys hospital and heading home with my husband when my husband asked if he should stop and get the medicine. I had to call the pharmacy to confirm and to make sure it was getting filled. When I had called I was on hold for over 18 minutes. At 2:14 I spoke with an individual who stated that all items would be filled and ready within 25 to 30 minutes. I was given an exact cost for the prescription due to insurance not covering the form of distribution. I understood that I would need to wait and so I let my husband know that he had to wait the 25 to 30 minutes. After 34 minutes of waiting and no phone call I told my husband to go through the window pick up. Upon answering the individual he was informed that they did not actually have his medicine in the building. They informed my husband that it had to be ordered. So in short my son waited for nearly 40 minutes outside of the building for no reason. I decided to call back and inquire about the situation. When a gentleman answered the phone I did not give my name or my sons. I simply asked for the womans name that had helped me earlier or who is answering phones. He said that there are a lot of women that are working currently is there a reason why. I stated yes and I explained to him the situation and how I had called to confirm the medicines being filled and then my son waiting only to find out that they do not have the medicines in stock. He without even skipping a beat said that he would take a second to double check and make sure that they absolutely did not have any. Mind you I did not give any names. He came back on the phone within 30 seconds to inform me that he did not see any at the 1st check but actually has the medicine and that he would have it put in as a rush. So all in all the medicine was there but no one called us to tell us that it initially was thought that it wasnt there, and then told that they do not have any in stock and were out but in reality they actually were not looking in the right place. Anyone who deals with or knows a pharmacy knows that it is organized and that there should be a system that will update on current amounts of medicine on hand. With this system you should be able to check and confirm if you have it in stock. The system will tell you yes or no, so either this individual lied or their system is not up-to-date. My son suffered and was uncomfortable for no reason and I find this to just be due to laziness. This is not my 1st situation with this location either, that is the only reason why I am now acknowledging their lack of care and communication.

Literally the worse pharmacy on the planet. My husband sat there for an hour to be told they “didn’t place the prescription right” would be another 20 minutes. They all apparently take lunch at the same exact time and close the pharmacy down. Avoid at all cost.

I would love to give the store a 5 star review, but they keep messing up my meds. Not once but quite a few times or they order a medicine that I needed tell me its ready after waiting a week only to tell me after I get there oops sorry we gave it away and they billed my insurance for it making it impossible to go else until they refund it. They have also messed up my husband meds. Ive tried talking to the manager it didnt help. Just Friday they tell me oops sorry we didnt listen to you and we finally did it the way you said to and your medication is covered after waiting 3 days for it and I just had shoulder surgery and had to go three days without my pain meds because they didnt listen

This is now one of the worst pharmacys in this area. Staff changes constantly. Always understaffed, always a huge line and wait due to the limited hours. Telephone system sucks, wait time always about 15-20 minutes if you dont get disconnected. A great place to get your personal information compermised, your name, address, telephone number, doctor, medication and date of birth. No privacy with your personal information. One more thing, the Walgreens App sucks.

Really rude cashier, felt like I was getting treated differently for being Mexican?, he was giving great costumer service to an American guy but when it came to me and my mom to get a perfume and purchasing it he was bothered I guess, he gave my moms change very rude and he didn’t even say thank you when my mom said thank you.
