The Marine Mart Shopette is the best place to get gas and a few road snacks before leaving Camp Pendelton and jumping on The 5 freeway. Located near the base exit (its the last structure and business that you pass on the right before you leave the base) it also offers gas prices that are significantly lower than what you will find on the other side of the gate. Occasional lines but worth the wait.
