Great team and friendly service. We took our van in with alignment and brake issues. They were able to get it figured out quickly and give us a time frame of how long how the repairs would take. They even offered us an Uber because it needed to stay over night. They helped us break down repair processes and costs so that we could make sure that everything we needed done was taken care of without loosing sight of our budget. All in all, it was a great experience, and well definitely be back.
Sara made this an in and out experience. Her and another female over the phone made this a pleasant experience. I always enjoy and choose places who can deliver me a great customer service experience and these 2 ladies did just that. Compared to discount tire who had an all male crew and they were 200 $ more expensive. I’m glad I came to pep boys for my tires
It really wasnt good. The real store manager was out the whole week we went through the process of buying tires, and having them put on. The reason that the process took a week in the first place is we ordered in tires, that I was told would work for our vehicles. Then after I took my vehicles out of the field for the day to go and get the tires on, they told my guys that the tires we ordered were not rated for the vehicles they were going on. I called and the guy who I spoke to said I provided the wrong vehicle details which is why I was told the tires would work. I let them know that that is not possible as all of my vehicles are the same model and that I would not mess that up. That talked to the person that ordered the tires and saw that I did give them the correct info. The one bright spot in the story (and the reason I give 2 starts instead of 1) is that after they found this out they did order in tires that did work, and gave us a very significant discount on those so I wouldnt be paying too much more than the original tires would have cost. But even then after we rescheduled and I took both of my vehicles back out of operation, they took an average of 2 hours for each vehicles, just to mount tires (and there was no one else in the bay!) Lastly, they told one of the guys I left there to wait that one of the tire pressure sensors was gone, and asked if we wanted them to replace it for an extra charge. My guy knowing that we were already spending more than we wanted to said no. When the vehicles got back with the tires they replaced I found the sensor snapped off in one of the used tires, indicating that they broke it off while replacing them, and didnt even notice or bother to replace it. I took a picture of it, but I was too tired of fighting with them, so Im getting it replaced somewhere else. It just wasnt a good experience at all.
Best mechanics around!!! I have been to many places here along the Wasatch front and this pep boys on riverdale road has exceeded any and all of my expectations. If you are questioning where to get your car serviced, go ahead and take a deep breath and relax because I have never been treated better nor have I been so thankful to have my car back and running smooth. This shop truly cares about each individual customer and the manager Sara has really outdone herself with making sure I felt at home, even though I was only there for a little while.
I needed my headlight adjusted. The dealership would have charged almost $400 just for an adjustment, not bulb replacement. Went to this location and it only cost around $45. Long story short is that the casing around the headlight was loose and not snapped into place. I have a Buick Enclave so they have to get up underneath my car to fix it. I was so worried because we did not have $400 to do this and we are shipping my car overseas for military orders so everything needed to be working first. The staff was very friendly and understanding of my situation. They put my mind at ease and even got it done the same day that I called. I was very pleasantly surprised and they seriously made my day after having an awful week where everything went wrong.
Received really great customer service. Initially went in for an issue a little over a month ago and was taken care of fast and efficiently. Just had to go in for an issue and even though they were backed up, they got my car in and checked out in a couple hours. Was taken care of really well for the issue thanks to Charlie. Definitely recommend! Great staff and service!
I called and spoke to Amanda whom i asked if I could bring in my car for an oil change before i left out of town and if it could be done as soon as possible which she gladly agreed to. It didn’t take me more than 10 minutes to arrive. I was there at 10am. When i got there Sara was the one who greeted me and was refusing to help until “1pm”. She said they were busy. After telling her i called and spoke to someone she continued to make ugly faces, sighing, and telling me i would need to drop off my car and come back. Amanda overheard and said if she needed to be the one to do it she would and confirmed she spoke to me on the phone earlier. Sara rolled her eyes and said “fine, we can do it.” I was there until 1:15pm!!! There was only one other car they were working on. And by the time they were finishing, two more people arrived and they began working on one promptly. This was my first time getting an oil change here and it will be my last. I didn’t even care that i was late to my cousins wedding. My frustration is because i was told they could do it, then was told no by someone else. Worst customer service. They could have said, “no sorry not a realistic time frame”, and i would’ve gone elsewhere instead of waiting for hours. Amanda was great and i’m very thankful she did what she could, unfortunately not enough to make up for her coworkers awful attitude.
Totally recommend! Lynn was the mechanic that helped with my vehicle. I came in thinking my car was done for, turns out it just needed some new spark plugs and some fuses replaced. I went to many different shops who gave me a total run around on what was wrong with my car. This was the first place that actually specifically explained to me what was going on, and got straight to the issue and fixed it. Good as new!
Very communicative, lovely staff. We had an ox in the mire Sunday visit and they were so kind and extra helpful! Realistic about time to repair/replace. So thankful that Pep Boys was open and willing to help.

Wonderful customer service! I went in to get my AC looked at last weekend but when doing the inspection, Lynn noticed some issues with the timing. Sara and Lynn regularly kept me updated when I had to leave the car at the shop, all while being very busy over the weekend. When given the total for the quote, they were willing to help me prioritize and budget due to the unexpected increase in cost from just getting my AC fixed.Unexpected costs for safety can be incredibly overwhelming and I am appreciative of the kindness that was shown to me.
They were so kind and understanding of our situation. They let us hang out until we figured put what was going on with the car and they even helped us find a ride to the hotel. I appreciated there efforts and kindness.
Went and got my pads drums and rotors done there. Amanda bent over backwards to make sure I got my brakes done because the brakes had been sold to someone else on her day off that were for my car in todays appointment. Got everything taken care and are working really good.
Had a dead battery and pulled in unannounced- there were only 2 workers that day but they took care of us and got us what we needed very quickly - great service
Came into pep boys about a week ago after buying a new van that just so happened to break down on me within 4 days. I was absolutely devastated and when I came in and my eyes were still red and puffy from bawling my eyes out in the parking lot. Sara could tell my devastation and was so unbelievably kind and understanding to my situation. She instantly made me feel better, going above and beyond to not only help me find a solution to my broken down van, but to comfort me and help me feel comfortable and less anxious. Not only this, but I also had my crazy 2 year old running around the whole time. She never once made me feel uncomfortable or embarrassed. 10/10 would definitely recommend this shop to any and everyone that I know who needs to find a wonderful and reputable place.

*EDIT* PepBoys was able to make this right and refund us the extra that we were charged. All is right now.My husband spent last week doing brakes, shocks, struts, tie rods and who knows what else on our van so when our alternator was going out, we decided to get it fixed at Pep Boys. We had a warranty on it so we were only gonna pay the labor, which was about $20 more than him just doing the install himself. We thought that was worth it. Well, we just picked it up and the alternator was more expensive so we had to pay an additional $150. They would only cover the cost up to a certain amount and we owed the rest. If its covered by a warranty, then its COVERED!! We shouldnt have had to pay more for a covered problem which didnt even last the time frame it should have. NEVER go here!
We always have gone to Pep Boys for tires and have had wonderful experiences. However, we will never go back for service. Instead of putting the specialized blue Subaru coolant that is required for our vehicle, they put in generic green coolant. Pretty sure this mistake caused our radiator to fail prematurely. Will not be going back for anything but tires.
Lynn and Amanda helped us out so much, and were able to squeeze us in amongst other customers, finding and solving an issue that 2 other mechanics couldn’t! Absolutely saved our souls, and it barely cost us anything!

Bought four brand new tires yesterday for my parents vehicle, this morning they woke up to one of them being completely flat with the air pressure at 0. Called pep boys and they stated that im going to have to pay the 60$ towing fee to tow the vehicle back to them even though this was on them for not installing the tire correctly. Poor service! Dont do business here. They have a 3.9 rating for a reason.

Took my 88 Pathfinder in to have the starter replaced. Dropped the truck off along with a brand new starter. The technician called me and said that there was a issue with removing the starter he directly told me that a bolt was broken off from the head and that they would need a special tool to drill it out. I must add to the list that the price increased to the point that I couldnt afford itTwo months later and me being not to mechanically inclined I decided to you tube it just to see for myself where the bolts were and if I was capable of doing on my ownLol just to let you know I got it out four hours later and no BROKEN BOLT. They lied to me and tried to scam me out of money. Dont go to the Riverdale pepboys.
Entrance kind of sucks getting into but its worth it! The service I recieved today was phenomenal! Service was a little slow to be honest but they were training a new girl. Everyone was cheerful and friendly and very professional. Ive been going to Pep boys for years. I usually went to the one in West Valley but now that Im in Ogden Im coming to the Riverdale one. The amount of work they do and the information they provide you with is amazing. Absolutely blew my mind. I will definitely be coming here more often!
Made an appointment for 8:30 to do a simple oil change brought it in 8:30. After 4 and a half hours of waiting went to see if my car was done and they havent even touched it not sure why I had to set an appointment to wait however much longer for my car to be done.
Charles was an excellent help and Lynn had my car done before my expected time! I am thankful for them will be reffering pep boys to anybody who needs work done! They were honest and fair woth their pricing and even gave me a helpful tip for next time!

Double charged me for labor. The trick is to put a labor charge one each part then an overall charge, i.e., double charge for labor. Takes a minute to figure this out. Totally a scam. The get away with it because most people are confused by the billing. Total scam on an industrial scale.
CHARLES MWent in for a a/c leak check says there is no leak when I had it refilled 2 weeks ago and it’s all gone and there is “no pressure in it “ if you can find a leak tell me you can’t don’t ask me if I want it refilled for such and such when it just will leak out lol 😡 wouldn’t go there again paid $64 just for the fun of it:edit and (Charles M ) when I entered not only did you just stare and me and when I asked you where do I put my key and not answer and then say Valvoline did not put a/c in my car no possible way when you literally watch them do it and say they didn’t and when I told you I have put in refrigerated in it and it leaks out and YOU SAY THERE IS NO LEAK AT ALL No way that is possible it it very aggravating to here thanks again
I asked them to rebalance my tires but the car vibration becomes much worse after they did it. I sent it in for them to redo, got slightly better but still worse than before. So I sent it in again, and Charles became kinda impatient and dismissive and told me they were gonna do it for the last time, even though I have always been polite and respectful regardless the fact that most likely they messed it up. I felt sorry for the trouble too, because I trusted them and respect their work. After they finish he showed me the zero on the balance machine and told me if it doesnt work he recommend me sending it to somewhere else more advanced (his exact word). Seemed that he didnt want to deal with me any more. Indeed it didnt work and the car still vibrates real bad. I started thinking about other possibilities and made an appoint at another auto shop called TAS tires for alignment, which the manager at TAS kindly explained to me through phone that vibration shouldnt be caused by alignment issue and said they can take a look for me and try to redo the balance. I sent it in, and it turned out the previous balance at Pep boys was still off (even after they did it three times!), and within an hour, the nice stuff at TAS redid for me and even cleaned the rims of the tires, charged an even cheaper price. Now the car is running as smooth as it could be.
Kayla and Connor were awesome. Both were extremely kind and professional. I blew out my tire early this morning. Rang them up first thing and got in immediately. Kayla gave me the best price she could on a replacement tire which was WAY cheaper than any other shop in the Ogden area. Connor got it swapped out and reinstalled very quickly. Cant say enough about the service. I will DEFINITELY be going back there again if I need work done. Thank you again to them.
Horrible service took some wheels to get tires put on and the damaged my wheels, told the manager and showed them to him said they were painted with cheap paint the best he could do is have me get sandpaper and reimburse me for the sandpaper. Save yourself the time and headache from dealing with the same situation
Took my Van to get an oil change and a tire rotation with a %30 off coupon on a Friday and all was going well. I grabbed my VAN and paid without seeing that they only gave me a %25 off coupon instead of the %30 that is on the website. The manager told me that they didnt have a %30 coupon so he gave me the %25 off, however it was only applied to ONLY to labor. Normally %25 is applied to the total unless written in the fine print which it was not. Also my Van veered hard right after the rotation which was due to no weights being in one of the tires which no one told me about which I understand it being a Friday and the employees wanting to go home and all but sometimes I have to take care of my clients late on a Friday as well. So i went back on Monday to address my issues and manager asked if had an appointment and if I didnt to make one which I guess is fair, however they always say that they only have 1 person in the back working so maybe a turn over issue is there? Anyways, the manager did refuse to make things right with me on the discount and I had to take the Van elsewhere to get the steering fixed or at least find out what was wrong with it. We ended up calling the Pep Boys in salt lake who gave us the refund we were owed and apologized on behalf of the Riverdale Pep Boys which wasnt there job but was awesome. Not sure who is running this particular location but they could use more training on the customer service side and hiring side. I will say that they did change the oil and fill it to the proper level..
Appointments mean nothing to these guys. I made an appointment to have tires put on a week in advance and they put my car at the back of the line all day. They only had one tech at work on a Saturday. They should know they need a full staff on their busiest day of the week. I dropped my car off at 10am on a Saturday to have tires mounted and they didn’t even start working on it the same day and I was forced to leave the car there overnight. Then the next day I found out their lift won’t work with my car because my car is too low or something. Not to mention the fact that they raised all of their prices and wanted to charge me $50 more for the exact same service than they did last year. I have been taking my cars here for a few years and have had tires mounted on another lowered car with no problem. Thanks for a giant waste of my time and a terrible experience. I won’t be coming back here, not even for a routine procedure like mounting and balancing tires.
I came in for a free alignment check. I made a 9:00 AM appointment 2 days in advance because they were booked up. I dropped my truck off before they were open. I called around 10:30 to see if it was done and if it needed an alignment (which I intended on having done if it was needed). They hadnt gotten to me yet and said I was next in line. I called back around 2:00 PM and they still hadnt touched my truck. They got me mixed up with someone else and didnt even know my truck was there. Apparently they dont check the key drop box in the morning, or contact customers who miss appointments. I finally went to pick up my truck around 4:30, they still hadnt done anything. I took my keys and left. I wont be back.
The service was wonderful! They were short staffed the day I was in, but the two young woman who were there did a great job of taking care of their customers and making sure we got our car serviced as quickly as they could.
Absolutely INCREDIBLE customer service!! We needed an emergency hitch installed same day so we could drive home to Vegas, and these guys made it happen wiring and all! Their staff was so kind, efficient, and helpful! I would absolutely recommend these guys for the best auto shop experience!! :)
Love these guys! They dont arbitrarily up sell you or try to get you on something cause you dont know cars. They are friendly and even remember their customers names. Repeat customer and not planning to stop soon.

Rude, Incompetent.Charles was incredibly rude and dismissive from the moment I walked in with one blown tire. After 2 days, they managed to change three tires, throw the fourth in the back seat, severely damage my wheel and hubcap, and strip the lug nut to an impossible level.My car is now at the dealership to finish the job, who is unable to remedy the damage done by Pep boys without ordering an entire new wheel.Pep boys in Riverdale is incapable, dishonest, and should not be recommended for any service.

I purchased brand new tires from pep boys and a few months later got a screw in my tire. Came back to get it patched. They are CHARGING me to patch it. If I were you I would go to any other tire shop because they will do it for FREE. They just lost a customer.

I went to get my spark plugs changed the guy at the counter first told me it was going to be $700. Then I asked if it was just for the spark plugs then he advised me it was going to be $340. The extra amount was if they ruined the spark plug wires. Why should I pay you more if you ruin the wires. That is just tacky. Honestly if a mechanic ruined your spark plug wires. Then they are not a good mechanic. Why should we as customers pay for your mechanics fault. Im glad I know about vehicles cause as a woman I feel like I was taken advantage of.
An employee on 3 separate occasions told us that they had a special that turned out to not be true on new tures. The store manager wouldnt honor the coupon that the employee promised would give us 25% off. We asked the manager to please call her employee up but she refused saying that even if he did admit it she wouldnt honor the deal. After 10 minutes of arguing about how she couldnt override the system to put in the discount she suddenly came up with a way to give us a buy 3 get 1 free special. We bought snow tires so our regular tires go with us. They forgot to give us the tires and it took them 30 minutes the next morning to find them. One of the 4 tires was placed in the recycling storage container and the other 3 were in a corner of the tire service shop. In addition, they add many mandatory extra charges that far exceed their competitors. Not happy with them!
Got a mixed experience. I regularly brought my SUV here for oil change and tire rotation without problem. But my friend wasn’t happy for the new sets of tires bought here.
I made an appointment a few days earlier... I had driven a few hours to get down to pep boys because I had an alignment warranty. When I arrived I could tell they were pretty busy and wait times seemed to be pretty long. Charles made the best of a crazy busy day and helped get me in. I have been a customer for 5 years now and these guys have always got the job done! Aaron and Charles, you guys are awesome!
I got an oil change at a chain lube place and they said I needed new brakes. I took the vehicle to Riverdale pep boys and they said the brakes are still almost new. Pep boys are honest
Second time coming here and last time Im coming here. I ordered tires online which they couldnt find till I tracked them down myself. I go to get them installed first thing next day its been 6 hours waiting still, mind you the installation is just for a 17 wheel on a compact car. The service is trash, they called a lyft for me that never showed up. Im never coming here again

We love this little store. I went to get an ac adapter but they couldnt sell me one. They told me I needed a special one and had to get one from a dealer. That is awesome that they didnt try to sell me something I didnt need and then helped me find it. Thanks. They also are great at getting the correct headlights for your car when you buy the wrong one because you can do it yourself. Really professional and friendly, thanks Pep Boys!!!
This is the kind of work pep boys does. They fixed my ball joint and completely botched it! It was in worse shape when they returned it to me. I had them tow it back to their so because it was unsafe to drive. The mechanic AND the manager said their was nothing wrong with it. I got a second opinion from someone who actually knows what the hell theyre doing and said it was unsafe to drive unless straight to the shop. Now I got to get the job done twice! They put my life and my familys life in danger, they are incompetent and thats putting it mildly. Do NOT GET YOUR CAR FIXED HERE!
Dont waste time making an appointment with pep boys. I called in to see availability of an alignment and after speaking with them I was reffered to their website to make an apointment. I scheduled an apointment with them online for the same day which was a Sunday. Upon arriving for my apointment they had informed me that the online system was not accurate and that I would need to reschedule. I rescheduled no problem as I understand that this can happen even though it was irritating that I was told to go online for the apointment. When I showed up for my apointment the following wednesday, I was again turned away because they didnt have time to do the job that day. Why would you make me jump through hoops and schedule appointments that you can not honor. I can understand once but not twice. This company does not care about customers time and they will waste yours.
We travel the country, and usually rely on Pep Boys as a go to for servicing. That being said, the Pepboys on Riverdale Rd near Ogden, Utah, was the best service experience that weve had in the 3 years that weve been on the road.Jerry was so friendly and helpful. We explained that we were just traveling through, and he got us in and on our way in under 2 hours. We will be forever grateful. Clean facility, comfortable waiting room, and most importantly, knowledgeable and courteous employees.

I went in to have an alignment done. I had planned on shopping for miscellaneous parts while I waited. Much to my surprise they no longer sale parts at the Riverdale location. I was a little let down. They did do a great job on the alignment though.
Called about getting service, was told to come in the morning, came the next day in the morning around 930 am, got harassed by the tech for not being there at 8 am which he didnt specify in the call, he then said he could keep my car for like a week or something and then take pictures? confusing service that wasnt rendered per the conversation yesterday, thanks.

Scheduled an Appointment online. The whole day showed open but when i got to the store they said couldent do an oilchange today to many cars. Got home and checked online and it still shows whole day open. Huge disconnect between store and online service.
Went here after having problems at another shop. They did their job and went above and beyond to fix what the other shop failed to do. Great customer service, they were more than willing to try anything they could to get our car taken care of. Definitely would recommend them.

Was traveling from Kansas to Oregon and lost electrical power outside Riverdale. I was towed to Pep Boys at my insurance companys recommendation. I spent 4 hours at Pep Boys who diagnosed my issue as a battery issue and charged me $170 for a new battery. From what I observed, they had 3 service managers but only 1 tech. They said my alternator was fine. 50 miles north of Ogden, my battery light came on and my dash board lights began to dim. I limped into a professional shop in Idaho and they replaced my alternator. I WAS a big fan of Pep Boys but now will never set foot into one again.
I needed my A/C checked and bare min needed a service charge. Called and made an appontment. Got text message confirmation both the day of reservation and the morning of scheduled service. Showed up 15 min early and was told the appointment was canceled due to some issue. Problem with that is they never even notified me or attemped to let me know the appointment was canceled. I am not sure about most people but I had to use a earned day off at my job to utilize this service and now that was wasted. Seriously how do u get a one star and not even touch a car? This is how. Pretty pathetic.
A BIG SHOUT OUT TO JERRY!On Sunday evening Sept 1, I was traveling by myself back to Idaho from Colorado, when I discovered that I had lost my powering steering. I was upset and stayed the night in Ogden. I called first thing Labor Day morning and spoke with Jerry. He put my mind at ease, and said they could get it fixed and me back on the road in no time. They fixed my car within 1 1/2 hrs., and gave me a great price! I was so pleased with the service I got!!!
Friendly, knowledgeable staff and service. Clean environment, easy to find on gps. Fair pricing. Nice to have a place to shop and look around in while I waited for the car repair. I would probably give 5 stars, but they didnt have the technician who could service transmissions or emissions at that time (to their credit, they were looking to hire more staff). I would probably come here again if I needed another car service done.

I will never go here again. We tried to save a few bucks by going some where a little cheaper, but its not worth it. Their customer service is horrible. My husband went in to drop our van off because he had to change to the spare tire day before. The guy at the desk said other people have appointments. We cant get your car in until 3:00. All I can say is he was lucky it was my husband that dropped the car off. Ill try to plan my flat tire next time and make an appointment. So, they call him just after 3:00 and say it cant be repaired. We need a new tire and they dont have one exactly like ours so the prorated price will be $50. Well call you when its finished. Well, my husband went out to do some yard work and left me his phone. Well finally at 6:10 I called and after being on hold 14 minutes, I was told they tried to call us but there wasnt an answer. I told him the phone had been sitting by me the whole time and their wasnt a missed call or voice mail. So, we go pick it up and my husband made me promise to be nice. We get in and pay and he then says my manager called that number. I look at my husband and he is like oh no. I say Aaron, I find it hard to believe any one called. The phone was sitting right by me and there arent any missed calls. You forgot and just dont want to admit it. He hands me my receipt and doesnt say anything. No thank you, no Im sorry you arent happy, nothing. I take a picture of the sign that tells me where to call if Im not happy. Well, I promised my husband I wouldnt call until Ive cooled down.
I went in because I had bought tires at another Pep Boys on the East Coast prior to making the move to Utah. Its been less than 8,000 miles and my front tires are near bald. The service manager, Jerry was awesome. He did what he could and got us 2 new tires. He kept me updated through the process and didnt try to pressure me into any repairs like other Pep Boys locations. They also had me in and out fairly quickly. Thank you, Jerry!
Easy to access business with plenty of parking. I made a purchase last night in the wee hours and it was ready to pick up already this morning. Staff was great, and even while I was being helped others checked to make sure I didnt need anything else. They even took it out and loaded my truck for me. Great staff!!!
Had my car in there yesterday for repairs. I was happy with their work, the price and their customer service. I highly recommend them.
Spent a lot of money for a sloppy job. The mechanics seemed to have an endless list of things they wanted to fix on my car and took their time doing it, always pushing back the estimated day they would be done. When I came to finally pick it up, they told me I had a fuel leak, which turned out not to be true, and forgot to reconnect my power steering after doing the job I brought it there for. They lied to my face and treated me like I was stupid, causing a great deal of frustration. Very disappointed.
Jerry is friendly, professional, and most importantly, highly skilled. Seriously, what more could you ask? I have very rarly been treated so well in an auto shop. Jerry has just created customers for life. Give Jerry a raise!
Fast service fixed my tire on a Sunday great work
Aaron was awesome. Made me feel very welcome. The place is clean and comfortable. They mounted and balanced new tires in less than 45 minutes. I will definitely go back.
I went this Sunday, and they helped me pick out new headlights (I wanted very bright ones), and one of their employees quickly switched them out for me. Amicable and helpful staff who helped me choose lights that were going to stay brighter for an extended amount of time and cost less. I was so impressed; I will be back with any other auto needs.
Ive shopped here for a long time. As far as shops go, theyre quick, convenient, and usually helpful. Unfortunately, they do have a significant amount of turnover in employees, and sometimes it shows in a lack of training at the register. Prices are comparable to their competitors, and their selection is typically good, so long as youre not working on anything too specialized.
It took awhile to rate. Because I was still dealing with Pep Boys and i was going through my receipts and documents. They broke something and couldnt fix it. I was lied to about getting a gift card if I apply for a credit card. I used a lot of time driving and waiting there and being told come back later. I asked for only tires, no insurance or added on stuff. My bill was over $300 than expected. I had to keep waiving fees and added on insurance. He seemed frustrated with me and asked, what else do u need to waive? He said nothing. I said okay then, I told u I just wanted tires only no added on stuff. So the definitely over-do up selling. My 1st time here and not returning again.
Trying to get in, you did usually have to schedule. However, I took my car to another place to have them check my ac before I came here. Three other facility tried to say my car most likely blocked/clogged up their machine and it would have been almost $100 to check it. Pep boys were nice and friendly, they did the ac check got free. They were able to fill my ac refrigerant and note my car is nice and cold again. Of course I paid for that part, but it was still less then what I would have had to pay. Thank you pep boys I will be a returning customer.
I went in thirty minutes before they closed due to a nail in my tire. Not only did they have the best customer service Ive ever experienced with mechanics, they were quick and checked all of my tires for me to make sure I didnt have anymore. On top of the excellent job they performed they didnt even charge me for it as they were training one of their guys on how to do it. Amazing service thank you!
The main boss Charles is really funny and I came in really stressed because Cosco did all 3 of my tires and left me with one tire not done because they couldn’t get my lug nut off. So I came in and they took care of me right away. Really happy with pep boys!
Ok why they stop selling products
So I went and got an oil change which it was cheap at 29.00 but they told me my drive shaft was busted and it would take 500 dollars to fix it. I decided to get a second opinion and turns out my drive shaft was fine and it was my axel and I only had to pay 200. So if it’s anything other than an oil change don’t come here.
Great location, but unfriendly staff. Unwilling to help customers. Honestly dont know how they are still open.

I had gone into Pep Boys located in Riverdale, UT to have my Ford Expedition check out as the anti freeze was leaking about one bottle per day. They had quoted me $1,200.00 as I needed a new heater core which is located underneath the dash board and takes about 7-9 hours of labor. I left that day deflated because who has $1,200.00 around the holidays? I sure dont. One thing that stuck with me was when Jesse (Pep Boys employee) had told me that Pep Boys price matches so if I find a lower price else where to bring in the quote, they will simply call to verify, and then BOOM; Pep Boys will match their competitors price by 5%. I did my due diligence and called around for a few hours to gather some quotes. I went back to Pep Boys and was able to discuss my quotes with the previous employee, Jesse, and he simply called the competitors to verify. One simple call, thats it! Of course I had Pep Boys fix my truck and not only is it running perfectly, I now have heat running again which is a blessing in the winter. It was so simple and Jesse was amazingly helpful, customer friendly, and was definitely a pleasure to work with. Going forward, I will only go to Pep Boys because of the service I had received. Everyone was so helpful and answered my questions with a big smile on their face. I never once left feeling confused or that I was being taken for. I would recommend Pep Boys in Riverdale, UT to anyone who is seeking honest and professional staff and mechanics. Thank you again and I will see you soon for my next oil change. I am a Pep Boys customer for life!
