COPS came recommended by a friend when I was looking for parts to finish a 7.62x39 AR build. I spoke with Austin who said he needed to wait on the computer to see if he could find a bolt. I looked around a bit and had to remind him what I was after. He finally looked on the one laptop they had and said he found one, he would get it ordered. He flipped to the back page of a notebook, sitting on the counter, and took my name/ phone number. He said Just pay for it, when I get it, in a week or so. More than six weeks later still no word. I was hoping this would be another great local shop with a one on one experience.Update 9.27.21 Austin responded quickly to the review I left. I didnt get a voicemail but it sounds like we just had a miscommunication. I should have given him a shout first!

Went in with some extra cash to purchase an AR. Nothing they had really excited me so I spoke with Austin. Explained what I was wanting. He showed me something similar and told me that he would have what I was looking for in stock the next day. I returned a couple of days later and he had the perfect one in stock for me. Surprisingly he also had a Large stock of ammo for sale, which I can never seem to find. Completed my purchase and got exactly what I wanted.Overall the staff was very helpful in finding what I wanted and not at all pushy trying to sell me something I didn’t want. I am a repeat customer so this was not my first time in the store. But if you are looking for an honest man trying to sell you a great product when you are ready to buy, this is your place. I would much rather spend my money at a small business then feed the chain businesses.

First visit today, no complaints at all. Well stocked and they knew what they were doing. No gun-store BS either, Ill be back again.

Despite what reviewer 0000 said about C.O.P.S. being a ripoff (which he isnt a ripoff), I bought 2 rifles and a shotgun through C.O.P.S. and started having problems with my .300 BO (not the fault of C.O.P.S though), I took it back into Austin and he worked with me to fix my rifle. He backed up his service with great customer support. Prices are great for the area and I happily shop there when I need guns/accessories.

Ive purchased 2 guns from them. They are very straight forward and helpful, the last gun I bought there was priced almost $200 higher down the street. Cops will have my business for many guns to come.

So Im a man that takes gambles in life. I live in Arizona and I was looking to get into the Ar10 platform. There was very few options that were in my budget. So I hop on the trusty Armslist and start looking outside my state to see what was out there ( which I have NEVER done before). I came across a DB10 that was in my budget and was a very nice firearm but the 1st person I talked to from another gunshop flaked on me and never responded. Then I came across C.O.P.S. listing for the same rifle but much cheaper. I saw that they had a website and a reputable Google listing so I knew they couldnt be a scam so I went a head and placed an order on their website. I emailed Austin to confirm my order and the time of shipping and he was very quick to get back to me and assured me hes having it go out the Tuesday since the FedEx truck came a bit early. Was no biggie at all. I finally have gotten my firearm on Thursday. And everything is as described. Ill be sure to purchase .any future firearms through them. Nice place I needed to buy a lower for a build I was doing. They are really knowledgeable about Guns and can answer all your questions. It’s a cozy little shop where you feel right at home when you walk in. And the seem as if you need something if they don’t have can get it for you. Prices are comparable to other shops maybe cheaper on some things. I really like this shop and look forward to doing more business with them.

Brand new in box, and despite other gun shops raising their prices significantly during these Covid times, Austin kept the price so low I thought it was too good to be true when I found the listing on Armslist(.)com . I had no choice, I had to buy it. After placing my order online on his website, the next day I called just to check if transfer info was good to go, Austin even knew me by name right away. It was shipped like same or next day, overall a great experience. I also noticed, in my experience, that the inventory seen on the website is accurate to what they have (which is perfect for out of state shoppers). I am very happy with my purchase. I am glad I found this shop run by a guy like Austin, bookmarked his website and will definitely keep in mind when I am looking to purchase another firearm. I have been to this gun shop twice recently and both times the staff have been friendly and very helpful. My last visit I brought in my rifle that I bought from Great lakes firearms that had an issue and these guys were more than happy to fix it right then and there even though it wasnt there rifle. I found Cops Gun shop on Arms List while searching for a certain used pistol. They had what I was looking for at a great price. It was described as Hard to tell it has been used. Austin is a class act. He will order exactly whatever type of firearm your looking for and sell it at a fair price. Mainly caters to law enforcement, but is open to the general public. Ive purchased three special orders handguns from Austin, and never once had to wait more than a few days for him to get the gun in his shop. He answers emails at all hours and usually within minutes, and answers his own phone promptly without having to press 2 for english, try getting that type of service at the big boxes or the other high volume okc gun stores.

Just wanted to give a big thanks to Austin! Helped with the purchase of 3 hunting rifles and 3 shotguns for the kids to be able to start hunting traditions and memories. Once again Austen and his crew came through! I have been searching for a pre Remington 30-30, preferably from the 70s...no luck. My wife asked if I had been to COPS yet since this the only place I shop at. I was looking in pawn shops, gun shows...everywhere. I walked in at lunch yesterday and boom, right there on the shelf was a 1976 336!!! Its mine now, and I cant thank Austen enough for just being here for us...damn! If you havent shopped here...do yourself a favor, come in and if they dont have what you are looking for, they WILL get it. Best shop ever!!

Just another example of taking advantage of people. Walther has a $100 rebate so what happens? They raise there price! Yes, they raised there price for profit. You are going to get close to same deal offered before the rebate. They are going to profit by raising prices. You are going to get the same deal you would have but be forced to wait 6 weeks for a rebate. The gun manufacturers win, the gun store wins, and you lose. Businesses like this are the reason I dont support my local economy. Shame on you. You are not representing Americans. You are representing your own personal interests!!!!!! Shame on you!!!!!!!!!
