Very helpful over the phone and patient with a newbie to firearms.
I emailed in advance to ask about certain services and lead times for getting my parts returned to me and I got an immediate email response with then 30 minutes or so with all the information I needed. I then called and set up a time to come drop my parts off and as I waited fornthe work to be completed, became a lottle inpatient so I called right at the last day of the projected lead time and was told it would be done either later that day or the next. Maybe 15 minutes later I got a phone call saying that he had checked and indeed everything was completed so I picked it up within 30 minutes of the phone call. The work was impeccable and I will definitely use these guys again for future gunsmith work!
Fantastic smith!! Built me a Tankers Hakim (2 actually); superb re-barrelling of a older Winchester 1917 to 25-06 that truly shoot one hole groups at 100 yard & Hornady factory. Turn around times are always great and the finest of finishes.
Sean has done work on three firearms for me. They do excellent work at a great price. Done. That’s all you need.
Called the guy about a muzzle loader and he answered all my questions over the phone. Great guy very knowledgeable.
Cutting Edge seems like a great place for getting work done on a firearm, or commissioning a custom build on a firearm. They are a full service gunsmithing shop that also does Cerakote, and blueing. I had a pistol cerakoted here, and they did a great job on the pistol. The only problem I had was that I was told that the pistol would be finished in about three weeks, but I didnt get a call telling the pistol was finished until week 5. It doesnt matter that much though because it took me an additional 2 weeks to get there, and pick up the pistol anyway. Based on my experience I would recommend them for any gunsmithing needs.
