Friendly staff that are willing to help. Great experience!

No one way rentals. No customer service. This trip has cost over $600 and time off work. I called corporate customer service and kindly told them that I would like to be a happy customer and I would be if I could drop it off anywhere closer. The woman I talked to said I shouldnt have signed the contract. She was rude and didnt care one bit about customer satisfaction. I told her that shemay be a happier person if she tried to help instead of being rude. She told me to go kill myself. I asked for a copy of the recorded message and was refusing. I called the branch location and their automated system said I could get a recording of the phone call. When I requested it was refunded also. Very poor business model. They saw a customer in a bind and took full advantage.

This u-haul location on NW 39th will rip you off! We drove the truck for 12 miles, never left it idling, and did not haul a heavy load. Then put 1.5 gallons of gas in it before returning. They then billed my card for 4 gallons of gas, at nearly $5 a gallon! This would mean that the 15 truck only gets around 2 miles per gallon. Thats a load of hogwash! I will NEVER rent from them again, and spread the word far and wide! Do YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! If you go there you are going to get ripped off!

Avoid this place. Horrible employees and they will scam u with fake charges. I returned a pickup I rented then was charged for a missing spare tire. Then when I drove up after they closed, the spare was obviously on the truck I rented and it was definitely not touched at anytime, it was still cover in road dust and dirt. I completely avoid uhaul because of this one experience I had. Terrible place!!

Not only did they have vehicles listed as “available” that actually weren’t, the GM waited to call me until less than an hour before I was set to pick one up. When I got there, not only had the GM closed the office early, there was obviously no one there to even answer the phone. So when I attempted to use the Uhaul website, that didn’t work either because when the GM had to change my original rental to something else, he listed it as having already been turned back in. In other words, I couldn’t even rent a Uhaul from Uhaul. The one job they have. When I attempted to call the office various times over the next day, no one ever answered — I was always sent to the corporate customer support queue. So, I drove down to the office myself early enough in the afternoon the GM wouldn’t have closed yet. When I got there, it took forever for someone to even come out and speak to me. When they did, it was a man who was not only super apathetic about the fact the reservation had been messed up by them (leading me to not be able to do what I needed to do the previous day), he was even rude when asking what I wanted from him now. No apology, no attempt to make it right. Just “so what do you want?” It was only then that I realized I was speaking to the GM himself! The guy who had messed up my reservation in two different ways in the first place. Obviously I just told him I didn’t trust his office to do it correctly at this point so I left. Absolutely won’t be going through this location again, and would highly suggest a change in management.

I came through this location in desperate need of a uhaul moving truck THAT DAY & with no hesitation was rewarded with the best customer service I have ever had from Mitobi. He was very helpful & understanding with every aspect of my needs. Definitely would recommend making a stop at this location when you decide to move!

The WORST customer service ever. the General manager employee name is Nathan French, he is very rude and disrespectful of everyone. He told me to my face he feels like I will not return the truck back on time and for that reason he will not let me have it. VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Highly recommend avoiding this location all together. they charge your card more than what you owe them too be careful

I had a good experience with this specific location. Nathan was the guy who check me in and his coworker got everything ready so there was no waiting. Check in was really easy too.

I used to work here and this place is a joke. Especially if Billy Westerhoff is still in charge.

Winter has come early (Oct. 26th) and it was getting messy out. I needed propane bottle refill so threw the empty in truck and off I went. These guys (2) were busy checking in truck returns, salting walking areas and other task. Promptly and friendly they had me taken care of and on my way. Reading reviews sometimes get what we give.

In this place they need experienced staff. :( :(

The team at the 39th expressway location were very quick and helpful with my trailer rental. They were quick to get me disconnected and on my way when I came back from a long day’s work.

No common sense, made us super late which in turn made turning in the trailer late. Never going here again.

While making my moving rental equipment arrangements I observed the worst customer service. This should have stopped me from moving forward with this company/location. However, in a rush I continued and rented a trailer. Long story short on the phone we were told that we could drop off before 5:43 and we would not be charged an additional day. Of course they closed at 5:00pm and were not open for business (despite people being at their desks) unwilling to give me any instruction on what to do... I believe everyone here thinks that it’s so easy and customers do this monthly. However that is not the case. Highly recommend avoiding this location all together!

There best uhaul experience Ive ever had. They are so quick and on top of their business, I will pass by other uhauls to go to them. They also have very reasonable prices on hitches and installation.

I have to give these guys a five star, because they came through and helped us when the lady on the nw expressway acted like she didnt want to help us at all. Just told us to go to mid west city to pick up our truck. Anyway these guys deserve 5 stars. Thank you for all your help

I reserved a 26 ft U-Haul one way (less than 30miles) and was told I would be charged $124+tax. I checked my bank account and I was charged $209. I called that evening and was told there was no information on on the receipt until the rental was checked in on Monday. I then called Monday and was given the run around about why I was over charged. I still cannot get anyone to explain why I was over charged nor have I received the money they over charged me for. What is go on U-Haul? Such an unsatisfied customer!!!!

2 Time Loser! This location is terrible about communicating with their customers! We had a hitch put on a passenger car in March 2013. We made the initial appointment, drove to the location and they canceled but didnt bother to call. Irritating, but I gave them a second chance. Before the second trip, I called in advance to be told that the installers wife was in childbirth. Im not a jerk, so I let it go, at least this time, I didnt waste the gas to the location. The third time, we got the hitch installed and they were even good enough to discount some of the labor as a peace offering. Fast forward 2 months and we wanted to get a hitch mounted to a SUV. My wife meticulously called and got all the pricing and made the appointment. This time, she showed up and they gave her much higher prices. It felt like a bait and switch. At first it was communication, now I doubt their word. We wont be back!

I reserved a trailer a week and a half in advance, called 2 days before I planned on picking it up to confirm that they had it. Then on the morning of the GM told me that they dont have a trailer that I could take and that there was nothing that he could do. He was not at all apologetic nor did he seem to care that his store messed up. I will never use U Haul again and I recommend that no one go to this store.

The rate that they charge me for gas. The gas hand was put back where. It was suppose to be. When I got the 🚚. They wanted more after I pd them 278.00. Could have.pd 300.00 for professionals. I know now Right. The gas is 3.00 a gallon no benefits. At all. So watch them.

I didnt realize that U-Haul had so many things I needed. They have packing tape and the cheapest boxes that Ive found. They also have labels and all sorts of moving/packing products. Friendly fast service.

I’ve already notified Corporate Headquarters about the shoddy service they give. The u-haul at I-44 and SW 29th. is a more professional place to rent what you need.

They were friendly enough, got me in and out really quickly. That turned out to be a problem. I didnt check the level of the gas on the contract against what was actually in the tank before I left. When I returned the truck I had filled it to the amount that was actually in it when I picked it up. The paperwork I signed showed that it was full when I picked it up. Ill admit, I shouldnt have trusted UHaul and checked the levels before I left. You guys got me, but I wont be coming back.

Michael was wondeful checking me in.... after reservations screwed up the reservation and customer service hung up on me... They all of a sudden found a truck when I told them I had hired 2 people to help me, but that it had to be back by 8 a.m. living 20 miles away and not having anybody else to pick me up or follow me there to take the truck back. I call and ask Derek.....telling him that I was driving from 20 miles away and would someone be there a few minutes after 8 oclock to get my refund. He says no problem someone will be there. I show up at 8:08 and he said he waited 5 minutes... So you have the doors locked, but you still have a truck door that was open out in the parking lot??? Really??? So he wasnt finished he was just an a******. So guess what I have to drive another 40 miles to go pick up my refund because I paid cash!!! what a bunch of BS.

I was in need of a truck to move some things so I decided to pay this place a visit. The person in charge was great and helped me with my rental in no time knowing that i was the at the las mint...

Dont get propane from this store if its not sunny and 70 degrees out. They rather set in a warm office and play on their cell phones.

This place annoys the crap out of me, but I come here because it is close to where I live. Ive used their service three times and each time I walk in, Ive stood there waiting to be greeted or asked if I needed anything. You can never tell if the people at the counter are busy or if they are going to help you rent a vehicle. Very frustrating.

Dont rent your uhaul here if you dont to get ripped off. She treated my mother and I like we were ignorant. Drop the truck off in the night drop and she charged more to my account. She had the nerve to ask if she called my phone would it ring. I was dressed for a day of moving and was treated like a bum
