Great staff with great customer service and wonderful atmosphere! To the two staff members on 4/19/21 at 5:34pm, thank you for your recommendations and warm hospitality, especially the person with the trans-lgbt mask, I want to thank you again! Im not a coffee drinker but the honey lavender latte was perfect for a nice afternoon walk along the lake! The latte was smooth, not strong and didnt have that nasty bitter after taste. I would come here again when I visit. I also bought 3 bags of the Big Truck so I can share them with my night shift ER staff, I hope they like them!

The Ambiance, the Baristas, I absolutely adore Olympia Coffee Roasting Co, but have to give additional props to this downtown location. I have had the privilege to meet with many clients at this location and the atmosphere is comfortable but with a sense of sophistication, which is reflected in their beautiful espresso, pastries and my favorite, extra frothy Chai Tea. As a creative, they have been very supportive and welcoming in utilizing their space, which is deeply appreciated. If you are looking for a Coffee Shop with Character and Class, this is your jam!

Stopped in for a simple drip coffee. Coffee lovers will be drawn in by the wonderful aroma alone. They usually have 4-5 coffees to choose from, then you wait for the fancy single batch to be made for you. The price is about average. When you order they should tell or remind you of what is next. Such as where and when to pay and pick up your brew.I did not see a single comfortable seat in the place: only flat unpadded wood or steel. Its easy to find, access, and exit. Its fully handicapped accessable. They have about 30 varieties by the bag for around $15-16 and lots of souvenir stuff.I wont go out of my way to go back.If you found this review to be helpful please consider adding a thumbs-up.

Love this coffee shop! I’m not normally a coffee drinker, but the coffee here is definitely worth it. I got a cappuccino, which wasn’t as frothy as at other places and closer to a latte, but I actually liked it better. The espresso was perfectly brewed, not too bitter or acidic, and the milk was poured very artfully into the cup. It’s also a cool, modern, minimalistic space to hang out. The staff and knowledgeable and helpful as you make your coffee decisions. Overall a great place to have a good cup of coffee in Olympia.

Still better then Starbucks for sure and local just not top end beans and taste. Couldn’t do a correct cortado which is simple and typical.

This place was so nice. I came with a group of friends and we all enjoyed it. The general consensus was we all had wished our drinks were just a little sweeter.. Next time I imagine we will have them add a little to our drinks. I tried my friends Chai Tea and man, it was spiced. It hit the back of my throat like a pepper. My Olympia Fog (London fog) was good, and beautifully presented with rose petals, I just wish it had one more pump of vanilla. My husband had the Nitro Float, and he really enjoyed that! It was pretty good. One of my friends had a black coffee and said he preferred it other black coffees in the area. They have two gender neutral bathrooms in the back that were very clean. I do wish their stools had backs to them just for better comfort, but it was a very modern design and seemed to draw a trendy crowd. They had a wall with several coffee supplies and apparel you could purchase, which is always nice for people who want to buy swag from their favorite coffee joint. Our drinks came out pretty quick for as beautiful as they all were, and the staff was friendly!Parking is a little tricky in downtown, there is street parking and a could of lots you can park and pay at. They also had outdoor seating for those who want to enjoy the outdoors. They make their coffee on location and have large windows to their production area so you can view the process, which is pretty cool. They also have a Cupping room that you can view on Friday Mornings.Overall its a great place to check out downtown and super close to a really cool bookstore.. You should check it out!

Last time I was here, 4 years ago, I had a perfect vanilla latte, that was the best I had tasted. I was driving through the area today, so I had to stop. Unfortunately, the same drink tasted very off, a hint of lavender, a lot of sour milk - I drank it but did not enjoy it. I wont have fond memories of it any more!

A quick roadtrip stopover became my new favorite coffee shop! This was the best coffee Ive had in 3 years of living in Seattle. The homemade vanilla syrup made for a dreamy latte, and the sweetheart beans made for an espresso that actually blew my mind! It’s a cute coffee shop and I like the location. I’m a big fan of their croissants, but that’s all I’ll get there. I love straight espresso, but I do not like theirs. If you want the BEST pumpkin latte, get The Great Pumpkin at Olympia Coffee Roasting. The flavor taste like REAL food...not like a fake pumpkin flavored mix that other coffee places might use. Was excited to try the coffee here after making the trek down to olympia but I really didn’t find it to be more than so/so. The space they have really is beautiful but it’s so large (with fairly indifferent staff members), that it comes across as “cold”. I wish I would have liked it here but the staff nailed in my idea of it being “cold”.Though, I concede, the sticker is very cool.

I love this place wholeheartedly. They clearly have an amazing grasp on what they do and their whole operation is really impressive. The staff is always cool, although several of them seem like introverted artist types, which is great, but I feel like I gotta chill on my extroversion a little so I dont overwhelm them. This is a fantastic friendly coffee shop, and a great spot to get your morning brew. I went my first morning in Olympia, and havent missed a morning since.Even in these dark days of covid, the staffs warm spirit shines through, and you can just tell theyre giving you a generous smile from behind their masks.Since Im more than happy with their drip coffee, I have not often ventured into the latte realm. But the few times I have, Ive asked for recommendations and have been met with funky fresh coffee concoctions fit for King Moctezuma. Its a daily struggle not to get a pastry, and Ive got a pastry decline rate of about 15%. If I get the incredible cheesy doughy ball of goodness, I can at least tell myself its not a sweet. While I long for the day I can sit in the well-lit corner with a book to go along with my coffee, swinging through Olympia Coffee is the perfect way to get energized for the day, even (or especially) in these crazy times.

The best coffee in the PNW. Milkshakes are here as well. This is OCRs flagship location, where they train their staff, roast their coffee, and where they used to do public coffee cuppings. Theyre an ethical company and a B-corp at that (not easy to get this certification). All the baristas are highly trained and educated, theyre always really friendly. The quality of the coffee and service is incredible. Not to mention, the way OCR sources their coffee with their Sweetheart program is incredibly ethical. If youre in Olympia, you HAVE to visit one of these cafes. I swear to you, its the best coffee in the PNW.

Sum up: Great roasts. Friendly baristas. Good vibe. Wish there were more options.Pros: Their coffee beans are really nice I bought a bag of them and quite like them. The shop has a well lit and comfortable vibe. The staff are really friendly and informative. I ended up running into one of the baristas in Montana and he was just as friendly outside of work. They do cupping on Fridays which are open to the public. I have been wanting to go but live about 2 hrs away so I sadly havent gotten the chance.Cons: Maybe I have missed it but I have never seen any flavored syrup options when I have been there which makes me sad.Another con which isnt under their control is I really hate downtown Olympia; it is really really sketchy. I cant walk from my car to a shop without being asked for $ or cigarettes a few times. This makes me not want to work or stay at Olympia CRC too long though because I get a lot of anxiety about my car getting vandalized because I have to park it on the street out of eye shot

Giving two stars because the 4th Ave shop looked clean. What you wont find here is good coffee, comfortable atmosphere, pleasant staff or even something as simple as where to order (and attitude when asked where to order then go to pay) since its not the same person you order from. I ordered a cappuccino - there was no foam, no lid, and cup was barely more than half full. As someone who tries to shop local and loves coffee it was such a disappointing experience.
