Sometime the people are nice sometimes they are rude. Depends on the day, (if you can catch them open.) When you have state insurance for your child you get 2 pairs a year. I ordered a pair for my son and after they came in I received a called that his second pair was in. A second pair that we didnt pick out or ask for. I have to say, I didnt appreciate the lady taking it apond herself to order him a second pair taking his choice away! He is almost 14, hes old enough not to want 2 of the exact same pairs of glasses. Her intention was good, (Im sure) but Im not a huge fan of people making decisions for me or my child. He most definitely would have picked a different color. This is the only place in town you can use state insurance for frames, I would say, if you can afford to purchase glasses out of pocket, definitely go that way. There are plenty of inexpensive options out there. Then you dont have to deal with people thinking they can just do things because your insurance is state.

I have been to every optical provider ( or very nearly) in Olympia over the past 20 years. In my experience Martin Way Vision Center is the best! Their staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I feel like Im working with professionals not somebody off the street just filling a job vacancy. Gone are the times of going back again and again for adjustments, they fit my glasses perfectly every time. If there is ever a problem at anytime they take care of it no questions asked, unlike the big box providers. If you are tired of the same old thing every place you go for glasses try Martin Way Vision Center you wont be disappointed.

AWFUL customer service. My boyfriend and I both ordered frames and were told they would be done in two weeks. I called back two weeks later and they had his frames but neglected to call to tell us that, and also said that mine would take another two weeks. So I wait another two weeks and call again and leave a message, no one calls me back. I call again the next day and finally someone picks up and says they will be done in ANOTHER two weeks. So I call again, theyre still not done and they say the frames are back ordered. Not one person called to tell me this. Finally after THREE MONTHS of me calling and no one calling me back, my glasses have arrived at the store. By this time Ive moved out of town and have no way to pick them up during their terrible business hours, they agree to mail them and it takes yet another two weeks for them to get to me, and when I finally do get them in the mail, guess what, theyre the WRONG FRAMES. Not even close to what I ordered. Every time I called I was spoken to in a rude manner and not once did they call me to let me know what was happening. This place is a scam, avoid at all costs.

Absolutely horrible experience. This office is never open. I recieved an eye exam, glasses, and a contact prescription for $750. Yes I’m insured. The worst part was that I was unable to actually get contacts because they are not open when working people can be seen. I attempted to get my prescription filled at another Dr office for the last few months and have been unsuccessful because they were unable to provide me with a valid contact prescription. Going to this establishment was the worst decision I’ve ever made.

A routine eye exam I usually went to Martin Way Vision Center for is a benefit covered by my insurance. Apparently, In 2017 this center did not continue the contract with my insurance but keep calling me numerous times and saying You are due for your eye exam. So, I scheduled an appointment and here we go - my insurance refused to pay for my visit and I have to pay from my pocket! It is my fault I did not check if this center and Dr. Carroll were still in my insurance network, but this sneaky business practice is wrong and unethical. Patient be aware!

Went in to order my glasses and the lady there was very rude and seemed annoyed that i were in there.She literally gave me TWO options to choose from and I didnt like either of the frames so I asked if I could get something a little different and she told me no. So I just ended up getting a pair I do not even like.Also... she told me they should be in, in about 6-8 weeks. So I never got a call after THREE months. So I decided to call them and ask where they were or if they had them. Told me it would be another 7-12 weeks.This place is absolutely terrible and I will never go there again.

Terrible customer service. Ive ordered glasses 2 separate times for my child and still have yet to receive them....over 6 months ago.

When your there for a vision exam they are nice and attend to your basic needs. After the eye exam good luck if you ever get ahold of someone unless you go there in person. My daughter had her exam there and the person who fitted her for glasses must not know what they are doing because the glasses they ordered are to big. So I went to another place to order glasses and come to find out they did not sign her prescription. I called finally got ahold of someone to fax her prescription and the signiture was upside down. Since then Ive called over 50 times (not elaborating ) for me to still not get ahold of someone on the phone. It seems that no one there can do there job correctly.

This place is a Scam!! The doc dropped those eye drops that make everything blurry then gave my sister an eye test.. they’re trying so hard to make a sale. Can’t be trusted.
