ACS has a user friendly website and it was easy to submit an online request for a repair. They called me the same day and were able to set up an appointment for the same week!Kenny, technician, was on time and very helpful! Thankfully the repairs needed did not take too long to fix and our garage door is SO Quiet now!! They are at the top of my list for service companies - thanks again!

When our garage door started malfunctioning, we looked at pricing and warranty in our repair quotes. ACS was one of several companies we talked to about the repair. We felt that ACS was fair in pricing and the warranty they offered. Our tech Rich explained all necessary repairs thoroughly. Amazing work! We were able to go from a rough quote to having somone come out and measure our door frame to having it installed and ready to go in just a few weeks! They got here just after 8am and had the new garage door installed by 10:30am! They needed to come back and add some vinyl and did an amazing job! This was a great experience. Although they arrived later that the agreed upon time, they contacted me ahead and told me they would be late. When the service man arrived he was professional and knowledgeable about the products and options we had. The installation went smoothly and he cleaned up everything upon completion. He took the time to explain the new opener and ask if I had questions. I wish all home service experiences were this good!

Overall great experience. Rich went above and beyond all expectations to take care of fixing my garage door which at first would have been a simple fix but due to the spring breaking at the last minute it made for a bigger job. CALL ACS FIRST! SAVED US OVER $1300! We had a cable snap on one of side of our garage door so it was stuck askew. We called 2 other garage door companies to look at the door. Both told us that the door was so old they didnt have the part to fix it and we needed a new door.We called ACS and Daryl came out right away. He diagnosed the problem right away and said he could fix it. It literally saved us over $1300. When I told him what the other two companies said about needing a new door, he said, nice try, guys.Its so great to have a reliable, trustworthy, and affordable company like ACS and a technician like Daryl who knows his stuff. I couldnt recommend them enough.

I really enjoy my new gutters, they are fantastic! Travis showed up when he said he would and they got to work and had my house done in a couple hours. We are having a terrible time getting ACS Services of Omaha to come through with their commitments and they are holding our $800 deposit hostage. They were not the cheapest but said they could have our two garage doors and an opener installed within two weeks, its been over 2 months. When we call Louis the receptionist diverts to the accounting department and/or manufacturer, thats when we we find the dead end every time. They refuse to give back the deposit and push back the install date 2 weeks every time we call. We are trying to improve our property before we sell it. We now have to pay another mortgage payment or sell the property without new garage doors even though we paid for them.

Our experience with ACS Door Services was excellent from the initial phone call to schedule an appointment to the guys coming out to look at our garage door system. Justin and Kenny were professional and provided friendly service. They were nice and easy to work with and they fixed our garage door in record time. Justin and Kenny went the extra step to make sure our new system was installed, activated key pads, and got all lights and remotes working on the garage systems. ACS went above and beyond for me. I have about a 18 year old garage door. Running great! They came out to do some general maintenance and check things over for me as I just moved into this house. They inspected it for me and instead of suggesting anything they wanted to, they did right by me, their customer and say nothing but good things about the garage door. They recommend nylon rollers because I couldn’t stand the noise. Super happy with their work and professionalism. Above all things, I need new bottom weather stripping. They had me contact the door manufacture (overhead door) who did nothing for me. They simply said well we dont even make parts for that garage door anymore and basically told me I am SOL. Here I am with nearly a quarter of my garage door missing a bottom seal (bottom weather stripping) with no third-party online resources to even get one. I did a ton of research. I then turned back to ACS and asked them if there is anything they can do. They worked with me and got someone out to investigate and see if they can make something work. Well they did and I am SOOOO thankful that they went above and beyond for me. They are truly amazing. Looking forward to hiring them anytime I have an issue with my garage door. I was trying reach the Overhead door but instead I got connected with ACS and their web address is almost same as the other company, omahaoverheadgaragedoor.com. and it was my mistake that I didnt double check. Anyway when the ACS showed up to fix my garage door I was surprised but let them fix it since it is too cold out. it took them two minute to fix the problem but charged me $ 181.85. I was expecting under $100 but they charged me $55 for the gas & travel time and $39.95 for just spraying some lubricant . $85 for the hourly minimum charge that I could understand. Never expected to get charged that much and way too overpriced. Overhead Door never charged me like this before and next time I will check again before calling. Learn my lesson.UPDATE:The office manager called and refunded the money that they overcharged. She was very professional and considerate and took care of the problem and for that I will give them a 4 Star and will consider calling them again for any repairs in the future.

Late on a Friday afternoon, my garage door would only go open about 12 inches before stopping and slowly going back down. Noticing that one of the springs was broken, I immediately called ACS and someone answered the phone right away. The person on the phone was very friendly and polite. She set up an appointment for the very next morning. Two very polite gentlemen arrived and diagnosed the problem as not only the spring, but a bad cable and hinge. They explained things, showed me what was rusted and about ready to break, and gave me several different options of what could be done at varying price intervals. The work was done very efficiently, the technician was extremely polite; even saying yes maam or no maam when addressing me. My door opens so smoothly and quietly now. He even adjusted my garage door opener to make it work effectively with the new springs, hinges, and cables. I highly recommend them. Quick, efficient, friendly, and very price friendly! I had a 16ft garage door with a broken single spring kit installed by Menards. Checked out 3 other servicers and then had ACS take a look. They were able to come next day and a couple hours early. Came in $40 less than competitors for the 2 spring conversion kit install and were in and out in less than an hour. Jeff did excellent and courteous work. I went to open my garage door this Sunday afternoon and it only raised about 6 inches off the ground. I noticed the spring was broken. My wife did a search on Google and found this company. The reviews are accurate and deserve the 5-stars it has received. I called and immediately talked to someone. They couldnt get anyone out on Sunday, but gave me a window of 9am to 11am on Monday morning.Daryl arrived at our home at 9:30am Monday morning. Daryl is about one of the friendliest people youll ever meet. He clearly explained what needed to be repaired and how much it will cost prior to him starting the work. My wife and I agreed to his estimate and Daryl got right to work.I have never heard my garage door open and close so smoothly. I cant get over how quiet it runs now. Daryl gave me the invoice that stated what I owed and it was exactly what he quoted me. No hidden fees, nothing, just what we agreed to.I highly recommend this company if you want your garage repair done right. Good job Daryl!

We decided to give ACS a try with a very simple spring replacement. The job should have taken around 1 hour. The service tech was here for almost 8 hours. In that time he had broken the existing torsion cable on one side. Had to replace this which I assumed would be on him. I was wrong in this assumption. This company decided to charge me for the replaced cables and brackets, almost $130 extra. Meanwhile the tech began to get frustrated and not acting professional. When these issues were brought up I was met with poor customer service and a sorry this is our rock bottom pricing, the tech did the job. I would save yourself the hassle and go with Overhead Door for any of your garage door service needs.

I didnt know you could get this frustrated with a repair company. It’s a shame, door & opener quality are excellent, but would not suggest going thru ACS.Unskilled/unknowledgeable techniciansRepair attempt #1 included (opener and cable). When I asked if it would be in our best interest to replace everything (door, cable, rails, opener, springs) the technician stated “no, that is not really necessary right now you should get about 5-10 years still with what you have. I can bend the rails back with a pair of pliers to straighten them out”.Repair attempt #2 approximately two weeks later one of our springs broke. After telling the technician about what had already been done and the reason that they were called out the first time he said based on the age and condition of the door a replacement should have been suggested to us.Repair attempt #3 included (door, springs, rails), however installers were unfamiliar with how to sync opener to phone app but they said they would be willing to give it a try”.UnprofessionalNo concept of scheduling or customer service. Kept in the dark on when the door would arrive from the factory, which ended up arriving past the original quoted time frame. We had to pry for any updates, and were not called about the delay. We were also called the afternoon before install stating our appointment was being moved from the morning 8-10 to afternoon 11-1.OverpricedHad the original technician diagnosed issues and suggested a new door upfront, the cost would have been reasonable. Ultimately had to pay for their attempt at a repair. Management was sympathetic to my complaint and offered a discount; however, I still feel overcharged.

Deceptive practices. Their website is a misnomer. They are not a dealer or installer of the brand Overhead Door despite their website. They charged me $170 before even opening up his toolbox: for drive time, despite living in Omaha, and service call. The gentleman then said they cant order these parts anymore. Nor could he properly code my garage door. He then wanted to sell me a whole new unit. I called the actual Overhead Door company who were bale to set the correct code.Shady business.

Especially after another company, designated as Omahas Best, tried to price gouge me almost double over the weekend, and ACS did not. In fact they were very reasonably priced versus Omahas Best non-weekend price. It is always nice to find a honest, quality company. I will certainly use them again, and recommend to anyone who asks.
