Family owned, local, nice people. Just have had a lot of orders with mistakes. Should not have a learning curve for as long as they have been in business. Kim is nice, dan is okay most of the time Bill is....well he is bill. The warehouse/rollers are good dudes. They can get you a building(talk to Mark) or just get you the metal you need for your building, big small, whatever. Delivery available.

This place is top notch! The girls up front really know their stuff and they always deliver a quality product with extraordinary service. I dont care if you need $200 worth of steel for a garden shed or $20,000 for a large project they will treat you right!

Were novices to building, but they were super patient and explained the options and helped us figure some things out. Theyre very open about cost, too. Their disclaimer was that you cant take the materials back after theyve sold it to you. Makes sense since its all custom made. But they make sure youre ordering what you really want and need.

Great folks... Timely service

These people care. We had a terrible contractor, and they worked with us to find a great roofer and we will always use them. They are very honest and friendly. We havent met any business owners here, that is so polite, and caring as these folks were to us.

Everything started out great. When we went in the first time our plans included the House, Garage & pump house we spoke with Bill. We went back to go over some measurements, they had questions about the House we spoke with Dan. When we left we were happy, they said we will get back with you on a price. When they called & gave us a price we thought it was for all (House, Garage, Pump house). We were very happy with the price. We told them when we would be in to pick it up. When we got there it was a whole different story. They only did the House. We asked what happened to the Garage & Pump house. They said we only talked about the House. Yes, because that was the only part they had questions about, the Garage & Pump house are easy no transitions. So what happened to the Garage & Pump house ? We didnt do them. Why, we asked. They were included in our drawings. So now our order is not right. We also found out that they took off the skylight kit & all the pipe jacks that we asked for when we spoke with Dan. Dan said he would include them with the bid. We also informed Dan that we do not want trim. When they took the trim off the bid they included the skylight & all the jacks. Why, I do not know. All I wanted to know was what happened to our order. While trying to get to the bottom of things & get us set up with what we were missing, there was this WOMAN who stepped in & proceeded to GET REAL NASTY. The Gal that runs the front desk was on top of everything, this other WOMAN who we NEVER EVER even spoke with was making sure she got in her 2 cents worth. I told my Honey I was going to go outside so I dont say something I shouldnt & this WOMAN said That would be a good idea ! Now correct me if I am wrong, but am I not the Customer ? If this is the way Customers are treated, well that leaves this place with a lot to be desired. My review for Treasure Valley Steel is, Product is great - Service, Understanding & Respect to their Customers, needs a lot of improving.

I have never had anything but great experiences with treasure valley steel. That is where I go for all my metal roofing and siding.

I Have been doing buisness with them for over 20 years and they are always fast and my orders are always correct, great company.

Terrible customer service! We submitted our plans and were given a quote, when we went to pick up our order a portion of it was wrong so they had us drive to a different location to pick it up. Once the building was going up we noticed that the bottom pieces were cut wrong by a 1/4 of an inch and we were shorted a few pieces which they then charged us again.... and yet again we had to drive the hour to pick them up. At this point we were getting frustrated, when I called and spoke to Tess she told me that sometimes it happens and some orders are short a few pieces and when I mentioned that they were all cut incorrectly by a 1/4 inch she suggested that could re-order all of the material and cut it myself. All in all I would not recommend this company, no one is perfect and mistakes happen but it how you rectify the situation that matters. - Beky
