Attention Manager, Chris/Dave.I was extremely disappointed, The way the rep handled my rental was unprofessional and honestly it was like the rep was on vacation and didnt care.In short, We are a commercial account for over 25 years and this is the first time dealing with the Ontario store. We rented a OF165 floor grinder, when I picked it up it the tips were worn and the machine was dirty and it seemed like it just cam off rental without any service. I was told its fine and the tips are good and its ready for service.1. Installed tips and started the machine, the machine did not remove floor paint or make deep scratches at all.2. Added one weight supplied with rental and the machine motor kept tripping the overloads on the machine, It could not be ran with the weight on.3.Tried in different area of the floor and it still didnt work very well.4. I picked up the machine and noticed a tip was broken.5. I called the store to get some help but Dave and Chris were not in.6. I left broken tip in to try and get something done and I noticed bolts and screw coming out from under the machine and others fell out, when I picked it up the tip holders were not screwed in. Its like the machine has never been serviced.7. I called the store again and Dave was gone and Chris was out to lunch.I returned the machine and went over the above events and, yes its my fault the machine is only three months old.I was informed that rentals do not get returns, I dont want to get into all the details of my interactions other than a full refund should of been applied to our account.I emailed and called the store to try and come up with something that is agreeable to both of us before I post a negative review and there was no response or return phone call.Hopefully there will be enough poor review that there will be a management change.

First time there, staff was very nice and helpful.

Update: I spoke with District Manager Lenny Moreno and expressed my discontent with the level of customer service. Hopefully, the true store manager will address his/her employee’s performance.Lack of integrity by store Clerk Christopher (presented himself as the store manager). Dropped off a 5- gallon container of paint for color match just after the store opened at 630am. I returned later that afternoon to pick up the paint and noticed the color formula label was not affixed to the container. I questioned the store Clerk if in-fact the paint had been colored matched and he indicated that it had been done. I drove home only to find out that it had not been color matched. I drove back to the store as you can imagine upset. When I confronted the Clerk, he denied telling me that the paint had been color matched. Instead of taking responsibility for the failure and providing a solution, he flat out lied. Very poor problem solving skills. Dunn Edwards managers need to re-evaluate the people they put in these positions. At the end of the day, customer service is key to a successful business operation!
