Not only is it a fine hardware store, have gotten everything from paint and stain, plumbing needs, tape and such there; bit they also have a great selection of seasonal decorations, kitchenware, clothing, and specialty gifts. We stop by often and always find whatever we are looking for and more.

Called to reserve a rental 2 months in advance, paid for it. Called 2 days before event to confirm rental, yes we were scheduled for the rental. The night before a guy calls, doesnt introduce himself just says were beat for the rental they double booked it and donated it to a carnival. And they couldnt refund my money. Asked to speak to hismanager and she couldnt be interrupted. He was very combative. Finally got his manager on the phone, she had zero clue what was going on. To top off the wonderful experiencewe were told to have the rental back thd next day at 8 am, well there we sat along with another rental customer at 8 am Sunday morning and no one is there.. They dont open until 10..Graduation was at 2, in another town...so Im supposed to wait around for 2 hours??? And I never got my deposit back. Such BS!! Customer service is horrible. Will never go back.

They always have what Im looking for. When I couldnt get my reindeer ti light up at Christmas tims5, one of the employees sat down and went through the whole lighting system and got it to work!!!Very impressed with the staff and their dedication.

They do have the odd ball items that are hard to find anywhere else at times.. The customer service here needs attention. I never seem to leave this store with a good feeling. I walk in happy and walk out almost frustrated if I have to ask anyone a question about any item it seems to bug them frustrate them.. They ignore me or seem frustrated I asked a question of them.. I spend a lot of money on materials every month. Unfortunately this store for this reason is the last I go to for this reason.

10/10 This store has great customer service. I took a custom paint match in and they were able to match it perfectly. So grateful to be able to get the thing I need without big box stores.

They have quite the bariety of products. Employees have always answered my questions.

The white haired lady up front is very unfriendly and rude. I am very much a regular, I come from Weiser to shop there. She has never asked me if I found everything or how my day is, etc. Two weeks ago I tried to use a coupon on a sale item. Instead of explaining it to me, when I asked, in a very loud, and condescending voice, she said you most certainly cannot. I was embarrassed by the ordeal. I know on Mondays I will take my business elsewhere.

The folks here are knowledgeable and helpful. And if you need to rent machinery say to work your lawn, rototillers, sod cutters, etc. They have a good selection!

Love this neighborhood store. I use them over Home Depot whenever possible. Love their rental department.

We called last week to schedule an appointment to have our pellet stove repaired. They confirmed we were on the schedule for today Tuesday at 9am. My husband waited until 9:30 and finally called to see where the technicians were. He spoke with a man named Randall who states the techs were on the road but no ETA. He called again at 10 because he needed to get to work. He spoke with John who was extremely rude. He stated he didnt even have us on the schedule. Rather than try and make it right he just told us to go somewhere else. He stated he is booked a month out and he didnt know what to tell us. He did not hold his employees accountable for the mistake and did not acknowledge our frustration. It is getting colder and we really need our pellet stove repaired. Rather than get us on the schedule for a day this week and apologize for the mishap he just got frustrated back at my husband and told him its in the best interest to go with someone else. We really are so disappointed with the outcome and this business.

This is my favorite hardware store in all of the Treasure Valley. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.

Came in to get a snake to fix a clog then hat to go back to rent a larger one but to my luck the larger snakecwas to big for the job so I had to call a plumber but service was great as usual thanks guys

Went into get a crimping tool and it was GB 388. Was 28.00 I checked at amazon was 9.33 delivered next day.I checked multiple items, all were over 3x the regular cost.I like to support local but thats crazy difference.

They have a lot of good things however they are pretty pricey compared to their competition. Mostly decent for the pellets. I think they get a lot of business from devote customers mainly. Clean store, large variety, great customer service.

When it comes to hardware this is the place to shop. The employees are ALL very well trained and know their business. If you need an unusual part this is the place to go...if they dont have it on hand, which they usually do, they will bend over backwards to find it for you. The store is clean and well organised. And if you are looking for a gift for the special woman they have a BEAUTIFUL gift section. I just cant say how amazing this store is.

Little pricey

This store has A LOT more merchandise than any hardware store, home improvement store and even the other fastner dealers in town. Honestly at first I felt like this hardware store had some steep prices. But I returned time and time again throughout the course of a year and realized that this store was pretty amazing. Every one of the employees is very knowledgeable about a wide variety of products and procedures. And those awesome old ladys (I hope they dont get mad about that) they know a thing or two about a thing or two and they made sure that I knew what I was talking about before I left. The merchandise in this store is incredible, they have dress up bolt bins and parts bins which are almost non existent in other home improvement stores now. This is one of my favorite stores to browse when Im working on a project. Its Amazing it really is. In order to stock that much inventory, prices might have to go up, and to have staff that helpful and with such good customer service, you would have to pay them more. its something I have no problem doing. In Fact they do have several items that i have found to be cheaper than home depot. home depot doesnt even know what customer service is and every time I go to home dept first I end up regretting it.

Good place for hardware needs close to home a little high on some things but the rental dept seems to be quite reasonable on tools you might need but dont want to buy one

My #1 Hardware Store since 2000. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Whenever I have a task or project I go here to get expert advice.Was shocked to learn they actually carry BioLite stoves and accessories as well! About time a store deviates away from others. This business is much more than an ordinary hardware store.I shop here often. Have even seen some older Leatherman tools show up here occasionally. Should of gotten the Core when I first saw it!
