We had them to put a new transmission in my daughters car. They said it would be finished in a week, but it was about a month, or a little over. When we got the car back, it was smoking & leaking. Additionally, one of our brand new headlamps looked old, air & dash gouges werent working either. They said that wasnt their problem, but it was fine when it went in the shop. They towed the car back to their shop to fix leak. They said they fixed the leak, but it needed a cv axle & we owed 250. We had already paid them 3,400. They gave us 30 days to pay. As soon as we got car back, smoking & leaking again. They said it needed to be put in a new case. Got it back,smoking & leaking again. They said they fixed it again & it needed a power steering line. Got car back, smoking & leaking again. They said it was finally fixed, but same thing AGAIN. We got the car back, smoking & leaking AGAIN. They have had the car in their shop for 3 months, while my daughter has only been able to drive it home after she gets it from them, and park it. I told Josh I felt like we should be able to take it to another shop & they pay the bill because obviously they couldnt fix it, or we should get a refund. He said we still owed him the 250. I said you havent fixed the car & we already paid 3,400, so Im not paying anything else. My daughter was promised they would be finished in a week & here it is over 3 months without a drivable car. My daughter could only get a ride to work for about 2 weeks, so she lost her job. This has been a nightmare. Now, Tiger Transmission wont answer the phone. They should make this right. They got their $. They were on vacation last week, but my daughter cant even drive to the grocery store. I see how they treat their customers. Thanks Tiger Transmission for a terrible job.

Horrible service, everytime I call Im placed on a 10 minute hold, my car arrived monday but wasnt even looked at for 4 days, the past 2 days I called and was placed on hold with false hope, that my car would be looked at first thing in the morning. I was told this 2 days in a row.

Worst experience with the mechanic that Ive ever had. This place is a whole joke. I called the day before and they asked me to bring in my car at 9am for a diagnostic test and oil change, said theyd call me back in 3 hours and let me know the verdict. Waited 5.5 hours and never heard anything. Called them only to be told that they needed to take apart the transmission to look closer at the internal issue. I asked what computer code came back from the diagnostics and if the transmission fluid was full was asked if they could call back in 30 mins. Waited an hour and a half and called them since I hadnt heard anything. Was told no codes. I said ok just do oil change and when you get it up there check the transmission fluid level and then let me know what you think. Never heard back. Called them 30 mins before close and said I was headed there to get my car and they said to come on. Got there only to find my car never received an oil change or anything. No charge, but a waste of a day.

Very very pleased with this business..I dropped my truck off to have transmission replaced Wednesday (day before Thanksgiving and my truck was ready by that Friday) receptionist was exceptionally good, she let me explain my dilemma about my truck to techs and they knew exactly what to do....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.....A+++

Was on way back from a conference in Texas headed back to south Ga. when my truck just stopped going into gear completely, I googled transmission repair in my area and saw the reviews for Tiger Transmission, and all sounded positive so called and they came and towed my truck almost immediately. The owner was very professional and explained everything that needed to be done, and gave me what I found out later to be an outstanding price for all the quality work they did. Have not had a single issue since. So thank you to all the workers at Tiger transmission for getting me back home safe to my wife and kids.

On a Saturday, they had me fixed within 30 minutes! Awesome guys and Mechanic shop and super nice who treat you very well!!On a Saturday of all times to have your 2016 Odyssey family have an issue with the good ole check engine light blinking. I called these guys, mainly because of all of the 5 star reviews and positive experience people had from visiting and they were the only ones open. I explained over the phone my issue (had the same issue a month before and dealt with another Auto shop in Opelika). I take to them and within 30 minutes they had it fixed. Super nice, explained exactly what the problem was and to top it off, they said, Payment?? Dont worry about it! Take it easy! How awesome was that!! I cant recommend these guys enough and have found the auto shop that I am committed to and will be taking my vehicle if it decides to have a bad day. Do not hesitate! Barry is the mechanic that found the issue (if not found, I could have spend alot of $$$ trying to throw money at parts and repairs of over $1000). I cant recommend that guy enough for his understanding of vehicles and knowledge of everyday auto mechanic work. Josh is a manager there and was super nice and told me not to worry about payment have to have a good day. You wont regret it.

Very unprofessional my time being car was there for engine swap that I specifically explained what motor&car it was going in but therefore my car was there 1Year&Half 12/27/18 - 5/23/20 Ridiculous lies under staffed dealt with over 3or4 different so called Mechanics& not one was useful throughout the process all in all outa 1300 unfinished job& finally had to get my car towed new mechanic ridiculous...Please Please U guys stay away look further U can tell just by location&shop overall appearance&approach!! Warning: do not take your vehicle here! This is a very sketchy place that cannot be trusted.First off, myself and three other mechanics I checked with do not believe Tiger Transmission even inspected the transmission of my vehicle, but instead just made up something that sounded legitimate to an auto repair layman like myself.Second, the man that was supposed to be in charge was nodding out and heavily intoxicated, hardly able to even walk. I had to tell him what we were doing multiple times and he was certainly not in the condition to be doing all real work whatsoever.Third, they told me an estimate would be free and towing would be all I owed if I decided not to get the repairs done there. When I decided not to and came to retrieve my car, they first tried to charge me $525 out of no where. Theres a sign inside that says 5 days after services are completed, a 25$/day storage fee will apply but in my case, no services were completed, and therefore the storage fee did not apply. They also will say nothing of this storage fee on the phone.Finally, the place over all is just very sketchy and I strongly believe nearly all the 5 star reviews are clearly illegitimate and deceptively fabricated order to offset the actual genuine reviews, which most are 1 star and describe experiences similar to mine.TL;DR Avoid this place, you will not have a good experience. Read the 1 star reviews because they are the only ones that tell the truth.

Very helpful people. I am from out of state. The owner and one of his mechanics stayed and worked after hours on a Saturday to help me get home. He even let me borrow his personal car to run to the store. I was treated more than fair. I will be bringing my vehicle to this business in the future.I highly recommend bringing your car to this business.

I broke down on the highway, and called the nearest shop. Thank God it was Tiger Transmission! I never even talked to my warranty company. Josh, and the rest of the staff handled everything! Not only did I get a brand new transmission in my truck. I also got a new shop that I would drive way out of my way to get that kind of service again! Thank you Tiger Transmission!

Kevin, Nick, and the others went out of their way to accommodate my needs and to provide a pleasant experience. These guys were honest and straight forward and did what they said. My rebuilt transmission is running smooth as butter, and at a fraction of the cost as compared to the dealership. In addition, they provided me with a 3 year, unlimited mileage warranty, which shows they stand by their work. Will I return? Absolutely!

I sincerely recommend the awesome folks at Tiger Transmission! I had a unique situation with needing an transmission repair for my SUV and has not saved for such a costly repair. John and the crew there were more than accommodating as it took WAAYY longer than expected to get the monies for the repair in their hands. They gave me the best pricing of all the quotes I got in the area and did not try to jack up pricing. Nor did the tag on storage fees when my truck had to be there longer than I anticipated. And even though I came for a transmission, they later found I had break issues and fixed that as well without charging extra labor. Definitely a first class company of integrity. And that major for a woman whose used to getting taken advantage of when it comes to auto repairs.

My experience with Tiger Transmission was wonderful! The communication was great and they gave me a detailed explanation of what went wrong and they even called to check on me after I got my truck back. The turn around time was commendable even though I procrastinated a little on allowing them to start the work. I was told the turnaround time was about 3 days and they delivered. John was a great help and very professional. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them for my 2nd car in the near future.

I got my explorer transmission replaced and the mechanics and staff did an above and beyond job to work with me on time and price. I know it can’t be easy rebuilding a transmission, and there was a small issue after I picked it up. I called and they were so quick and kind to tell me to bring it in and they’d figure it out no charge. They fixed me up and I haven’t had any issues since! Their new manager Joey really knows how to work with people. Superb customer service. 💯

I had a truck break down on my way from Texas to Clemson SC. All pro said I needed the transmission replaced. They treated me well and fixed the truck. After 1 month the transmission went out again. I had to bring the truck back to them for them to honor the warranty (12 Hour drive). They then told me I needed a mother board and rebuilt the transmission again. After spending 4800 dollars for what should have cost 1500. I was on my way again. Then after only 4 months the transmission goes out again. When I called. I am told that they now have a new owner and I will have to bring this truck back to them again. Over all I would say this has been the worst experience in my 50 years of living dealing with any Mechanics. I would strongly, Strongly recommend you avoid this place like it has the Ebola virus inside. The new owners cannot be trusted to be honorable to their word.

My vehicle was pronounced Dead on Arrival at the other place I took it to but Nick and his team was able to get it straightened out. My vehicle has never driven better. I highly recommend no one goes here!! At first I thought the manager was the absolute best and was trying to help me that was until I tried to get my car back . He told me he wasnt going to charge me for letting my car sit in their yard but when I tried to get it back he wanted to charge me they leave your doors unlocked so anyone can go in your cars and also someone stole from my car he say he smokes weed so there is no telling what else he is smoking dont say I didnt warn you!!!!!

I went to get an issue with my car checked out. I called ahead and they informed me to check with my warranty because it is usually covered because they didnt want to take my money if it could be free to me. Turned out I ended up going there anyway. They checked out my car and diagnosed it and found a very simple answer to the issue where it had been advised elsewhere it had to do with transmission. They solved my issue quickly and Im pleased. I respect and appreciate an honest establishment that doesnt want to steal your money. ^__^

To preface, I was a mechanic for many years and one can say I know a thing or two about basic transmission maintenance. Had a friend bring his 2013 Mustang in for a basic transmission fluid and filter change (would have done this myself for him but I live in another city).Most all Ford vehicles manufactured after 2009 are specd for Mercon LV transmission fluid. His Mustang is as well (says so right in the owners manual). When he dropped the car off he was very clear with them that they needed to use Mercon LV. They said ok and proceeded to work on the vehicle.When he went back to pick up the vehicle, he checked the service receipt and noticed they had listed that they used Mercon V, not Mercon LV. This is not the correct transmission fluid and the two are not compatible with each other. Common sense. He called me immediately and I instructed him not to drive the vehicle and got on the phone with the individual who performed the fluid swap.The individual I spoke to confirmed he used Mercon V and not Mercon LV. Big mistake. He further claimed that theyre both synthetic so it should be ok. How can someone whos sole job is to repair and maintain automatic transmissions not understand that transmission fluids have different viscosity characteristics? Furthermore, how can you just assume a vehicle uses a fluid without checking the shop manual, AllData, or even Google???I told the individual he needed to re-do the job and completely flush the system with the correct Mercon LV fluid. They completed the job this morning. Lets hope that they did it correctly this time and a transmission failure does not occur. If so, Tiger Transmission will be paying for a new transmission. Should anyone from here have any questions they are welcome to contact me directly regarding this matter.

Had an unpleasant experiance. I recently moved to the area and had 5th gear go out on my car. I dropped off my car and the replacement transmission and was quoted around $450 for the swap. Reasonable. So later, I get a call and am told that all the bolts that bolt the transmission to the motor were stripped and that it was now going to be $650... okay, I need my car so fine, make it happen. I get a call the next day saying it was done, but it was acting funny. I get there to take a look at it and 1) car wont start. They had messed up the wire going from the battery to the starter. 2) car will not shift into any gear other than 1st. 3) I noticed a loose bolt bolts the transmission to the motor, would not be good to lose that. When I asked them to tighten it, they stripped it out right in front of me without saying a word about it. 4) not only did I find a pack of their cigarettes in my car, they were smoking in my car right in front of me as they were troubleshooting the non-start issue. 4.1) they were also smoking in the office, which to me seems highly inconsiderate and unprofessional.I ended up having my car towed to my personal mechanic in Ft. Payne, AL. Upon delivery he was able to immediately identify the shifter issue. 2.1) Apparently they had severely messed up the shift linkages.5) this has less to do with their work and more to do with their professionalism; They talked negatively about other mechanics in the area and blamed all issues that occurred on with my car on my personal mechanic. How would you feel if someone you are paying calls a good friend of yours a stupid idiot?2.2) they tried to say the reason the car wouldnt shift gears was due to the replacement transmission being faulty. What they wanted to do was rebuild the old transmission and put that one back in the car. I declined, choosing to have my car towed to my personal mechanic.Bottom line, I dropped of a car with 4 forward gears and reverse, I picked up basically a 2000 pound paperweight. $650 well spent.

Highly recommended. These days it seems next to impossible to find honest and dependable people in any aspect of the automotive world. I seemed to have struck gold when i ran across the people at TIGER TRANSMISSION!!! They only had my Land Rover for 2 days to do a complete rebuild and when i asked how long it would take in the begging John said usually 3 to 4 days max... So of course i figured 7 to 10 days at least lol.. I could go on but to make a long story short it was fixed within the time frame projected and the cost was much less than expected. Very pleased!!!!!!!!

I had a bad repair experience here, but Ill try to be fair: it was out of their usual repetoire, and the manager did go far out of his way to try to get it taken care of quickly and accommodate my unusual schedule issues. Plenty of props to him for being a good representative of the business. Unfortunately, I had to repeat the repair within a month because it was completed improperly. They offer a warranty, but it left such a bad taste in my mouth that I decided to spend the money to have it done at my only truly trusted shop.

READ THE UPDATE BELOW:I write this as my car is still in their shop. My transmission went out on a Thursday while I was driving through the area. Friday they called for a quote of just under $4200, I told them to get started. The following Tuesday afternoon i called them to get a status update and they told me that the car would be ready later that afternoon or first thing in the morning. While on the phone they asked for payment. I declined and told them I would pay when the car was fixed. Wednesday, car still wasnt fixed, but they texted 3 times and called 5 times asking for payment. Thursday they called and texted and said the car would be ready Friday, but wanted payment over the phone. I went ahead and paid $2000 over the phone. Friday, I arrived, got the keys and paid in full. 11 miles later i had to call them and tell them to send the tow truck because the transmission went out. That was 12 days ago. I have called and texted them 2-3 times a day since and have never gotten a reply except on day 8 when i called from another number and they answered and told me that they were pulling the transmission out and starting over and would keep me updated. In the meantime, i have gone almost 3 weeks (tomorrow) without my car and had 1 communication with them since they got paid 12 days ago. I will update, if and when i ever hear from them again.UPDATE: my car is fixed. The check engine and hybrid system malfunction lights kept coming on and we couldnt get them to go off. They sent a mechanic to my home to work on it. Then they sent the wrecker to my home to pick up the car. They really tried and even threw in a free full-synthetic oil change. I finally took it to the dealership and found out that only the dealership could properly calibrate and update the hybrid system. The dealership did a thorough check of the transmission and said that Tiger did a good job on it, but if you have a hybrid, only the dealership can do the programming.So in conclusion:1. They did a good job mechanically fixing the car.2. After I started dealing with John and Kim directly, the customer service aspect reached new heights.3. The issue from the day I picked it up was computer related, which they could legitimately do nothing about, but I feel like they should have known that or consulted with the manufacturer to figure out. They know now.

Not satisfied at ALL. We took our vehicle in here thinking we possibly had an engine issue. If so this is an older car with a lot of miles and I had no desire to fix it. I was assured the engine was fine but we needed a thermostat and a new thermostat housing. $327 repair. We drove the car home maybe 10 miles and yes it was fine. Which to be clear the car never had issues until it was drove over 30 minutes because it didnt get hot on short distant trips. Then we drove the car 2 days later about 50 miles away and started having real issues. We were told to have it towed ($72) and they would figure it out. Turns out the head gaskets are bad. Well im no mechanic but start googling and multiple complaints of why I orginally took the car in are signs of bad gaskets. When i bring this up with the shop they are super defensive and since we made it home they are good on there end. I paid $327 for a car to last less than 40 hours and most of that it was parked in my driveway. The guy running the shop was very nice at first but isnt interested in why as a customer im upset. The proper test clearly werent done (like a pressure test) or this never would have happened. The car lot is coming to get it and we got a new car but beware because i truly feel ripped off and you will to. Personally ill be filing a formal complaint and disputing the charge.

The transmission went out in my chevy blazer. It had an internal trans cooler in the radiator. It leaked fluid all throughout the radiator and transmission frying everything. I called nick at tiger transmission and he had me picked up, towed to shop rebuilt my transmission and back back on the road all in a period of 3 days😜God bless tiger translations and there dedicated crew👍

I’m not satisfied with this mechanic shop right now. They have had my car for three weeks and it’s not ready yet. Every time I call I get poor excuses about why my car isn’t ready. When the car was towed from my daughters apartment complex to the mechanic shop it was carelessly damaged by the tower. My left headlight was busted, my hood was dented in, along with the area below the headlight which was dented. I’m being told the initial problem which I had my car taken there for is fixed but the body work is being done. I don’t know what to think or believe at this point. I have yet to see my car, drive it or know if anything has been correctly fixed. My initial impression was that they seemed kind, nice and caring but now I don’t know about any of this. They will not call or contact you about what’s going on with your vehicle and make some pathetic excuses as to why it’s taking so long to get the automobile fixed. I have had to constantly call and contact them and each time lied to and received some pathetic excuse from them. I’m ready to take them to court at this point and already have a lawyer standing by to sue them. I have lost wages and experienced missed opportunities and appointments because of this place. I think they should be up front about how they operate or not be in business at all. I am constantly being brushed off every time I call. I say for their best interest they need to provide good quality and honest work or not be open for services at all but instead operate as a non professional business shade tree mechanics. If my car isn’t working correctly or malfunctions due to their neglect, inexperience or liability after I get it back just know that they will be getting a follow up call from my lawyer. I work hard and care about how I’m treated and hope no one else has to go through this very same experience. My review was submitted yesterday 01/10/2020. Today is now Saturday 01/11/2020 and it’s 1:04pm. I was told I would receive a call around 09:30am this morning. I haven’t heard anything yet and they close at 3:00pm. I guess they don’t care anything about customer service. However as you can see I’m keeping a paper trail for those of you to see how unconcerned and unprofessional this place is. Okay now it’s time to get the legal process going. No more waiting, being lied to or undergoing negligence from this place. Why can’t they be honest and just do the right thing and do a good job like they are paid to do? Why has this place left me with no other alternative but to get the court system involved? In my defense I have tried to be civil. Please please people don’t deal with places like this if you know what’s best and always read the reviews from other burned customers before allowing service. Shop around for honest and reputable companies that have good customer service and provide good quality work.

AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!! Every other transmission place in town told me I needed a new transmission. I brought it to All Pro, and they said all I needed was a 97 cent hose!! Labor, parts and all only cost me $10 instead of the $1800-2500 every other place in town quoted me!! Thanks guys!!

I cannot thank tiger transmission enough for what they did to my brothers vehicle. After a shop did us wrong they took the time to diagnose the problems at a fair price. We thought the Jetta with under 120k miles was done for.

I had a bad customer service experience with the manager name John. If you decide to do business here be sure whatever he tells about his services make sure its writing and a signed agreement. Also I would not recommend anyone to this place unless you can identify a deceiver, liar and thieves. If you plan on doing business here please remove all personal items from your vehicle. The manager have said that he is not responsible for stolen items. Also if your vehicle are towed by their own Towing service be sure you check for any bodily damage before leaving. My vehicle went through a vandalism process all of my CDs and tools stolen and the rear bumper was damage by their towing service. At the time of payment no record for a work order with diagnostics​ service performance. Please stay away!!!

HAD MY WIFES HONDA TOWED THERE AFTER I SPOKE WITH JOHN I TOLD HIM THAT THE DEALERSHIP WANTED TO REPLACE THE WHOLE TRANSMISSION HE TOLD ME THAT A LOT OF TIMES ON HONDAS IT COULD BE ELECTRICAL THE NEXT DAY I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL AND WAS TOLD THAT IT JUST NEEDED SOLENOIDS AT A COST OF 425.21 I WAS SO THANKFUL WHEN THE DEALERSHIP WAS QUOTING OVER 4000.00 DOLLARS.....THANK GOD FOR THESE GUYS!!!!!!!!!!

These guys are great two other shops in town told me I needed a rebuild they looked at in an hour I was gone it just had a bad coil on 75.00 I was done and on the road very honest will go to them for all my needs I highly recommend all pro nick Jeff and Kevin thanks guys

After keeping my car 6 months,they still never finished what was supposed to be a 2 week project. To top that of they stole the battery, lost the valve covers, stole the new windshield, ruined the new radiator, put the torque converter in the front seat to leak into the seat cover. The manager is a thief and a bald faced liar. .. all after being paid in advance..... AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
