I got fussed at for touching one bottle of perfume (which is understandable, I didn’t even see the sign saying to let an associate know if I wanted a sample), but then the same associate turns around and lets a lady walk in with her mask hanging off her ear and 3 kids in tow (NO MASKS on them, despite them being old enough to wear one) and says nothing about that and even assists her. Apparently neither of them could read the first sign you encounter before even entering the store that says “Masks required.”. The virus is spread more easily through particles than through touch. Get it together. 🙄

Sarah there was so helpful and sweet! She was the only one working but still handled the chaos of multiple customers perfectly. The store usually has very snippy workers, but Sarah made the visit much better.

Went in today to redeem my reward points (100) and was told I had to make a purchase in order to do so. That didn’t seem right to me so I left and went and looked on the Sephora website. Upon looking at the website I found that you indeed DID NOT need to make a purchase in order to redeem your points IN STORE. Online, yes you do. I went back inside and tried to explain to the manager MICHELLE a policy that she should already know and she was very adamant of the fact that they’ve always required customers to make a purchase while redeeming rewards even though the corporate website says otherwise. I even tried to show her and she didn’t want to listen. I was talked down to and treated so unprofessionally over a free reward item I spent $100 to receive. I clarified with corporate on the phone that I was in fact reading it correctly and I continued on to file a complaint about how I was treated. So if you want to redeem your rewards, save yourself the hassle and go to the avenues because I called and they also said you DO NOT need to make a purchase to get your reward. As I walked out of the store the manager wanted to laugh and make fun of the situation with her coworker. I used to enjoy shopping here but the new employees are disgustingly rude and unprofessional. What they are doing is wrong. I won’t be back.

This is the worst Sephora Ive ever been to. The manager is horribly rude and the workers seem to follow suit. Theres not one person of color employed within the Orange Park Sephora to assist the majority of black consumers. When the manager was asked why there were no blacks employed there, she got offended and said that the one black employee that she had was furloughed due to COVID-19. The gals who are there are no help at all when it comes to matching foundations and other makeup with skin tones of people of color. They often have to send black consumers all the way to The Avenues Mall for accurate assistance. Theres no phone number for corporate customer service so that issues can be voiced via phone. They carry quite a few blck lines, but have no knowledgeable staff to back it. Its a NO for me!

Every single time I go in there I get nasty looks from the employees. Im super polite about everything and I go to ask a question or for help and they brush me off or act like Im not important. Went to get my birthday present couple of months ago and they didnt even put it in a bag for me or wish me happy birthday and kinda just acted like they wanted me out of the store. Would not recommend to someone looking for a nice experience.

Rude and unprofessional. Pam at Sephora stated she is a manager, if she is in fact the manager boy have the standards been lowered. No greeting, sighing the entire time and then when it’s pointed out she got combative. Avoid this store, rather take an trip to ulta.

Went in for some Olaplex shampoo & Mishell (i think her name was that) was honestly amazing & the best sephora employee i’ve come across. grateful for her help!

They have been giving people a hard time about sells prices. Not just with us but we seen it with other people as well. This store has really gone downhill.

Not sure why the bad reviews, everytime I go in there Gage helps me with everything, he is very sweet and knowledgeable with the products. Today he did a fantastic job with my eye make up. Someone is always asking me if I need help or if I have been helped. Everyone there is very friendly with me and my little boys when they happen to be with me, great customer service.

They have a wide selection and are always getting in new products. The staff is very polite and SO helpful. I come in here at least once a week to grab something new. They give me their advice when asked and always try to help me find what Im looking for. GREAT manager! Very welcoming.

Love this place. It is my favorite place to shop. When I come here I love to have Marie help me, she helps me find things to suit me and she will tell the truth. Love this store only wish they had more of the brands in store

I was seeking new eye shadow colors. With many great colors to choose from, Anjelic was so very helpful and assisted me with a great eye color pallet (desert dusk), to meet my need.Thanks to Anjelic for making my shopping experience a “glowing” one.

Love JCP but disappointed not many junior sizes and really hope they get more in.

I was trying to try on some testers in the store, and one employee in particular was staring at me and attempting to be discreet in following me around the store. Every time I went to try something on, she would just look at me very condescendingly.Finally, she aggressively approached me and shoved some of those cheap, painful applicators in my face and said you need to sanitize that and I said well there isnt really a way to put on any of this stuff and it be sanitized. Because honestly, every single tester in the store is gonna be contaminated like are you serious? Youre gonna be rude to a customer for using a tester??? Thats literally what its there for. Its not like I was opening boxes and using unopened product.Then I questioned more specifically. I said how would you put on a lipstick cleanly? She said to use the applicators for lip glosses and dunk them in. How do you work at sephora and not know the difference between a lipstick and a liquid lip?? At that point I was so irritated I stopped trying on lip products. Tried to test a TESTER for mascara, and she literally approaches me AGAIN and shoves MORE APPLICATORS IN MY FACE and she goes use the applicators or we have to throw the makeup products away. Ummmm.... No you dont. Lol you dont. if you threw all the used makeup products away you would be throwing away HUNDREDS every single day all the time. Bunch of BS. The thing with the mascara is literally half of trying one on is to use the applicator it comes with to see how it applies and if you like it. If Im just gonna use the disposable kind then I may as well just get any mascara! Whats the point of purchasing that particular mascara if thats not the applicator it comes with?? So confused. How am I supposed to know if I like the applicator? Lol if you want me to use a disposable applicator for liquid lip products thats understandable as long as you arent rude. But using a disposable mascara applicator doesnt even make sense.Very unprofessional and nasty employees. How you can treat customers like that and still have a job there is beyond me. So dissapointed. Will not be shopping at Sephora again!!! Ill head over to Ulta! Theyre nice every time!

Came in to do an exchange w/o receipt for products well over the amount of my original purchase. I have over a thousand points, so i shop with Sephora frequently. First time at the OP location and the rude “beauty advisor” didn’t even want my information to look up my profile to see my purchase history. She was not trying to be helpful at all. Her attitude was like she didn’t care if i was spending money. The manager at this location was trying to be helpful either. She also tried to credit me for less than what i paid for. Needless to say, i didn’t finish my transaction here. Only came to this location because i was in the area and will never return. Go to the Sephora at the Town Center or Avenues mall!! Better selections and friendlier staff!

Sephora in Orange Park is the best of the best. Always friendly, fun and exciting to go into this Sephora love the team!

I don’t know why this place has only 2.5 stars!! the workers here are helpful & polite. ive only had one issue with this sephora & it was when my purchase somehow got mixed up with someone elses & i ended up going home with two foundations that were way too dark and too drying for me. but i returned to the store the next day & they switched the foundations & gave me a huge bag full of goodies & samples for the inconvenience!

I love the Sephora brand in general but the people here are so nice and I come in there a lot and the employees recognize me so it’s nice to have a good relationship with them I went in there today for the cat von de event and had to cancel unexpectedly they were truly so nice about it and I hope to build my relationship strong with employees!

My wife love this place, they carry the best brand out there. Every birthday they give my wife a little gift.

Mishell is fabulous, along with the rest of the team, Marie and Tymaree! They were all very friendly and knowledgeable about the products in the store. Mishell helped me with any concern I had about several products and even made samples so I could see how it worked for me before I purchased full size items. I was overwhelmed and unsure about what was best for me, but Mishell took the time to answer all of my questions and teach me some new tips and techniques to make my makeup skills better. They instantly make you feel welcome and comfortable and I cannot wait to go back! Thank you Mishell, Marie, and Tymaree so so much!

My wife loves this Sephora, ecspecially since I work at JCPenney and can pick stuff up for her on the way home. Anjelica, Angel, Courtney, Marie, Mishell, Gage, Christen and Tymaree are awesome and always find what I need!

Nothing popular is ever there and theres only one lady there and there always busy if not they just act like you not there and is discussed of me for whatever reason and only treat me nicely if I have a full face of makeup on and have a lv purse

The staff was very friendly. My only complaint is that I asked for assistance with picking the correct shade of foundation, and was they said was a perfect match ended up being about 2 shades too light.

This is by far my favorite Sephora to shop at! They have everything I’m looking for and I found out that they carry Huda and IT cosmetics!!

Ive been in there three times and everytime Ive been in there they seem bothered by me asking for help and when they finally do help me, they rush me out. Customer service is horrible.

Sucks here, customer service mostly sucks the employees are rude, and whenever I go up to pay they stare at me for a few minutes, like Im bothering them to do their job and continue talking to each other as I wait to pay then take forever to cash out one item .
