Even though the salon itself is outdated and needs a refresh, some of the stylists are AMAZING! I have been going to Patty for several years now. She is a master with color and highlights. I get compliments all the time. She took the time to learn what I like, unlike other stylists I have had in the past. I feel she has my appointments down to a science. She gets me in and out so I can enjoy the rest of my day. She is extremely professional!

Got what I needed and what I asked for. Hair stylist was friendly and efficient. Didn’t have to wait and was processed quickly.

I made an appointment at Jcpennys to get an updo for an Awards Ceremony I had to go to. One of my good friends Brittany told me to use Lorraine as my stylist because she had done her hair for her wedding and she done an AMAZING job but when I called they said that she was on vacation but they would let me know if they had someone available to do it. They called back and said Patty could do it at the time and date I needed and to send a picture of what I wanted done. I sent her the pic and a picture of my hair and she said it wouldnt be identical to the picture which I knew, but she could get it very close. So I went in for my appointment and she said my hair was really long. I told her if it would be easier for her we could just do a partial updo. She said it would be, so I picked a style online and she said she could do it after showing it to one of her coworkers. That was the only time she looked at that picture again until she finished my hair. During the process her coworker was telling her what to do and I also told her multiple times I wanted it to have a lot of volume and be loose with hanging pieces in the front and sides. She rushed through it and when she was done it looked NOTHING like the picture AT ALL. She asked if I liked it and I told her it was okay but nothing like the picture we looked at. So she tried to fix it pulling the hair up with a comb but it only made it worse. So finally some of her other coworkers asked to see the pic and said they would help but we had to start over. She was not happy and breathing heavy to let me know. I wasnt trying to be rude but I deserved to be happy with before I left and Tamika (I think her name was) went above and beyond to make me happy. If it wasnt for her my night wouldve been ruined. She asked multiple times what I thought and wanted while trying to fix the mess. And she did a great job! And it wasnt even my hair that made me upset it was partys attitude because it had to be redone. Also when I booked the appointment i explained what I wanted and told them how long my hair was and they told me it would be $70. Patty told me when I got there it was going to be $95 because of my length. After everything was said and done I still tipped $10 which if I had cash I wouldve given it to Tamika however I only had a card. Patty split the money with Tamika. Next time I go I will definitely use Tamika or Lorraine! Your attitude is everything when you work in customer service. After my hair was done Tamika even walked me down to Claires to show me the hair jewlrey to make it look even better. That was EXCEPTIONAL customer service!! She deserves 5 stars.

First off I love JCP but I personally would not suggest some of the Black Women that has really cours hair to have your hair washed or trimmed. I Felt like they wanted me in and out... Then turned around and payed $37.00For basically a trim and a washing THAT WAS NOT SATISFYING

They didnt have enough hairstylists. They didnt do walk ins.

Worst salon! Not only did the destroy my hair the last time I went there, I just walked in to purchase shampoo and the rude employee started freaking out because I didnt have a mask on. Yelling! Then when I walked away they started laughing like rude highschool girls. Real professional! Now I will by my products elsewhere. Just like I get my hair done elsewhere. This salon will be shutting down soon. Bet!

Wanted to try something new and got a coupon for a color and cut. I let my stylist decide on the final color and it was perfect! I showed her a picture of a layered style and she got right to it. She spruced my straight hair up with curls and I left feeling like a queen!However, the next day when the curls were no more, I noticed the layers were longer than I had wanted. I called the salon, they got me back in right away and corrected my haircut at no additional charge...what awesome customer service! I could not have been more thrilled with my cut and color!

Ms. Annie did my hair. A relaxer and a short cut. It came out beautifully. She was very nice and sweet as well, she made me miss my grandmother.

I absolutely love Kayla. I met her just doing a walk in for my daughter to get a hair cut. I had just had my hair colored by a very well known salon on the southside. I paid well over 400 dollars for basically nothing. We had a casual conversation about my hair which led me to making an appointment with her. That was well over a year ago and I refuse to go to anyone else. My highlights are always on point and Ive gotten more compliments on my hair since shes started coloring it than anyone else Ive ever been too. Her talents far exceed her prices and she is always fun to talk to. I absolutely refuse to go to anyone else.

Nichole cut my hair and she did a fantastic job! A little pricey but it was worth it to get a great cut.

I live in Houston, but was in Ga. for a funeral. I was a walk in client for Izola. I love the way she did my hair. Izola is very professional! She asked me to tell her about my hair. She told me everything she was doing to my hair. She asked me if I had any questions about my hair. Izola did my hair exactly the way I told her to and the way I like it done in less than 2 hrs. I am still loving the way my hair looks. Izola told me how to maintain my hair. She is an experienced stylist with a lot of knowledge about hair. I felt comfortable with her doing my hair and I was pleased with the outcome. We both shared some personal things about ourselves and found that we had a few things in common. Thanks, Izola for your awesome service!

Jessica Taylor did really good on my hair 1st time, halfway decent 2nd time. She has promised me for a month to pick up a hair product for my hair, and has blown me off for weeks after recommending it and stating she ordered it. I also guess, she does not like earning money either. I had asked her to tone my hair and possibly add lowlights, a service that is well over 100.00. I was told last Thursday to just come on in, could not make it Thursday. On Friday I told her I would be available after 4 sometime, but, was unsure exactly what time I could get there. So she puts me on the schedule at a set time without my permission. It is a 45 minute drive from my house to the salon, when I get inside at 5, she had left for the day even though I had spoken to her 15 minutes earlier. She was scheduled to 7. I went to another salon who was grateful to do the service for 128.00 that day. This lady is a liar and a coward. She was not woman enough to address the hair product or even face me on how she did me last Friday. On top of that, the message she left at the desk when I got there was that another coworker would do my hair. This coworker did my hair one day when she was off, she knew that this coworker had cut 5 inches of my bangs without my permission, and all I got was a, Oh, I am sorry that day from the coworker. So if you dont want all your cut off, stay away from her coworker, Jene, and as far as Jessica Taylor, she is a complete joke, liar, and absolutely no integrity. Oh, the stylist that cut my hair last week after Jessica Taylor skipped out on me, showed me how my hair was not cut right last time with several pieces not even, where Buyer beware!

Clean and consistent service

Debra was surprisingly rude. I went in for a consultation and she insulted my hair and accused it of not being natural when in fact it is. Then gave me the highest price she could just to follow with telling me she couldnt guarantee that the blonde would look the way I wanted it to. I think she was just to lazy to put in the work. They call her a master styles but she sure wasnt professional.

Online appointments is broken

This doesnt even deserve a star. They messed up my hair so bad! I am so angry that this happened. They were not perfessional at all and they stained my scalp, which got me into trouble at work and didnt even turn out the color i wanted. NEVER coming back to this salon again.
