Ever heard the saying you get what you paid for? Well I did just that. I tried going the cheap route and go to CarMax in GREENVILLE from CHARLESTON and sat there for 5 hours (already approved, but had to wait on Chase to approve my new address) until I brightened up and called Joey and his crew at Fairey.I can’t not tell you enough of how impressed I was with the team at Fairey.He had a BETTER Truck at a BETTER price and all around better experience. I was in and out of the dealership in 15 minutes. I will recommend them to all of my contractor colleagues and friends/family/ ANYONE!!! You guys rock
New GMC Sierra broke down on the way to the beach on a Sunday. Spoke with Joseph who said to have it towed to the dealership. They were able to do the GM warranty work plus they gave me a loaner for 2+ weeks (even though I didn’t originally get the truck from Fairey Chevrolet).Great service and professionalism. They had the repairs completed fast. Can’t recommend highly enough. Buy your next truck from Joseph.
Least amount of stress ever in purchasing a vehicle. Everything was completed prior my arrival. I arrived, signed the paperwork and the vehicle was prepped and waiting for me. Will definitely deal with them again if I need another Chevrolet
Very displeased with this location. At this point I am beyond frustrated. I had a appointment to get my timing belt fixed on Wed. Aug 18th at 1pm. I left my car being told it will be done in 3 hrs. Around 4pm I get a call saying my car wouldnt be done til around 12pm the following day due to being only one technician which is completely understandable. I get here around 1:30 with my 2 year old and again being told it will be done in a hour or two here it is going on 5pm. Im waiting and seeing other cars come in and get serviced and leave? I dont know where the miscommunication started or ended but from my understanding there was no excuse for my car to have been here that long for a three hour job. I most definitely will not be returning.

0 stars if i could. Terrible service. I saw some cars online over the weekend, decided to go in person on Monday to look. My husband, 3 kids and I all walk in, see someone helping a couple at a desk, so we decide to sit down and wait till someone is free to approach us to help. We sat there for a little while. Then this couple walks through the doors, looking like they picked their clothes up out the floor, cut/ripped up, dyed hair. Someone walks up to help them AS SOON AS THEY WALKED IN!! They ask if they need help and gives them directions to used car area. Then the guy looks DIRECTLY AT US, TURNS AROUND and WALKS AWAY! Not a word was said to us AT ALL! We left right then.
Had a great experience today buying a Cadillac from this dealership. My salesman was, Bill Clem, he was a nice gentleman. He gave me time to look over the vehicle and understood my questions. Negotiating the price with him was not a chore. I would recommend this dealership and Mr. Bill Clem.
I came in a few weeks ago for a front end alignment. There were some issues and it became worse. Came back in for an oil change and let them know the situation had worsened. We got our oil changed and then they went ahead and worked on it until it was right. Also they didn’t even charge us for the repair. I’m extremely happy they went the extra mile for us. I wouldn’t bring my truck anywhere else.

So Fairey Chevrolet sent me a email stating that my truck was due for service with a link to schedule an appointment online. I thought this was a great reminder so I booked my service for a week out. Wednesday July 14, 2021 My appointment was scheduled for 9AM. I arrived at 8:50 to make sure that I didnt miss my time slot and cause them to be behind for the day.To my surprise when I went into the service dept. They had no record of the appointment. This was kind of frustrating however the service writher stated that she could get me in just after 9 so I decided to wait. I went to the showroom and had a seat by the front window and was just hanging out. To my surprise after sitting there for an hour I see my truck being driven around for service. I went back to the service dept. and ask for the service manager to see what was going on. He stated that Chevrolet didnt have the online reservation system working properly with the dealers. I ask why would they be sending this out to customers if it didnt work. He blamed Chevrolet instead of owning the issue. I ask him to look at his shirt as it says Chevrolet on it and that he was Chevrolet. He basically ignored me. I waited for another half hour and finally got my truck back. As I was paying for my oil change I ash him if he would give me a discount since I lost over an hour of time waiting on their mistake. He surged me off and said it was already cheap enough. With all of that said I just let him know that as he continued to treat his repeat customers (3 years for me) he will wonder one day what happened to his business and the I will take my business where I am respected as a customer. I would highly advise you to stay away from Fairey Chevrolet. I have had bad experience before but now have learned my lesson.Previous service on my Transmission for slipping the said nothing was wrong with it and I didnt know how to operate a 4WD. I have had 4WD trucks all my life, I am 60. this cost me $5K when it blew apart on a trip to GA. The truck was only 8K miles out of warranty.Reviews left on Google, BBB
We loved our experience with Fairey! We got the type of service we wanted the way we wanted it. We led the car buying experience according to how we wanted to do it. We weren’t pressured to do or get anything we weren’t interested in! We laid out what we wanted and they delivered above our expectations! We got an amazing car at an amazing price.
Had to wait 3.5 hours for truck to be serviced. Husband told them we were having intermittent issues with interior light dial (that turns dash lights up or down) and the light under the A/C button was not working. I was told the dash light button was working - tech couldn’t recreate problem but the A/C button light was not working and he didn’t say a word about that. I’m not sure why the tech couldn’t come ask my husband what the issue was but no. My poor husband took 3.5 hours (not including driving there and back) out of his day for this dealership to basically say there is no issue. Of the times I have brought a vehicle here for service, it has taken over 2 hours each time.

First, high-mileage vehicles are posted online without mileages. Ok, thats cute, elementary draw technique to bring people in the door.Second, called ahead to check availability, schedule, et c. Kind of slow and unresponsive...but its a small town dealership, you have to make allowances.Third, though...showed up and the salesperson I had spoken to the previous day (almost 24 hours previously) had no idea who I was. He had to look up the vehicle of interest---again---and go find it.Fourth--they also had not prepared the vehicle for viewing. It had trash throughout and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke.Fifth, and most infuriating: when I rejected the fellows business card (having explained that I already had a stack, and they would all be going in the circular file), he told me you obviously dont want to be helped.Well, Friend---I might be more open to your self-serving entitlement tactics if you had actually tried!In conclusion, this dealership is at the lower end of professionalism. Im sure if youre buying a new car or truck they are fine. For me, my dollars will be voted elsewhere.

Recently purchased a 2017 Yukon for a customer of mine here in North Carolina and saw it online and gave the Sales manager a call Joseph Fairey and we came to a agreement on price and we did a business on what I call old school terms of doing business.....drove down which was a 4 plus hour drive from my location and we stayed in contact as I was driving down with my driver as well....once at the dealership I was greeted by some of the sales staff ....nice folks and soon met Joseph Fairey for the first time...very nice young man and he had the vehicle out front and clean and ready.... after some breif paperwork and the check exchanged hands and then dealing with the internet Sales manager I was off in about 30 minutes or less and heading back.....my customer was very pleased with the Yukon and I was happy with how everything went smoothly.... Actually got to meet the Owner Joe Fairey and shared some old times and stories about going to Cantons Auto Auction in Darlington, SC back in the day.....I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle....nice honest and down to Earth people ... definitely will do business with them again in the future.

Driving down the highway when my 2019 Cadillac suddenly malfunctions. Im 300 miles from home. Call two dealerships in Columbia, neither can look at my car for at least a day. Im on the road, I need help! Enter Fairey Chevrolet Cadillac who saved the day. Despite being very busy they got me in and were able to diagnose a failed engine module. They apologized profusely but as it was getting late in the day they could not get the part until the next morning. But they gave me a ride down to a local hotel and promised theyd have it in first thing and have me on the road ASAP. They came down to the hotel to pick me up the next day and I was on my way by 10AM - and all covered under warranty. THANK YOU for helping me!!
Wanted to buy a car. Live an hour away and get off work at 5PM. Informed Fairey of that after ive already been out to see the car once. Fairey informed me that theyve operated by the same closing at 6pm for years and they WILL NOT WAIT ON YOU. When it hits 6pm, were ready to go MINDBLOWN!

I have bought many types of cars over the years & finally found a family run business with great values on vehicles. However, most importantly they have integrity!!I bought a car from this dealership in December. They are a well known family run business. Joe went out of his way to help resolve a minor issue. I normally would not post reviews but in this instance felt the need to share what a positive experience we have had with them.I give Joe & their team credit for striving for perfection & helping make our life easier. I took my 2014 Chevy Equinox to Fairey dealership in Oburg on the 15th of December. I explained to Kendall that my vehicle was stalling out while driving and a clicking noise when I turn left or right. Kendall stated it was my left axle was bad. I was called saying my vehicle ready to be picked up and I needed to pay my deductible of $200. As I started to leave, I noticed that the clicking noise was still there. Went back to let someone know. When Kendall called my warranty, he stated my cam shaft and unclear whether the axle was from the left or right. Kendall stated it was ok for me to drive my vehicle until the part came in. I got a called yesterday saying my vehicle was ready for pick up...but I may have to pay a $100 deductible and they will cover the other $100. I said why???? Apparently, they submitted that it was the right initially and they tried to submit for the left side on a later date. I heard the recorded call saying they will pay the for whatever charges occurred. Mrs. Dianne who was empathetic, stated that they will cover the cost, because the issue i complain about was still there. Yes, im grateful that they gave me something to drive while they were repairing my vehicle. But throw it in my face. Come to find out...Kendall forge my signature on the first initial claim...so they could get the payment. I will never take my vehicle to get service through Fairey.

Friday was my first time encountering this facility. I needed an oil change badly and all of the oil change places were booked. Luckily someone suggested Fairey chevy and making an appointment online was easy. Upon arrival they began my oil change. I asked about how long would it take and the nice smiling lady at the first counter said about 30 mins. She was right. 30 mins later we were done. Normally I go to other places like jiffy lube and other oil change specific places, it normally cost about $70 for full synthetic. My full synthetic oil change at Faireys was less that $45. I will be back for all of my car needs. As a woman they made me feel so comfortable.
We have bought two vehicles this year and several service opportunities. Always are treated professionally and courteiously. On service, options are presented when appropriate. Really trust both the service and sales staff.

Mr. Weeks never got back with my mom & I about the banks decision on if the bank approved my moms credit or not...We didn’t understand why would you run someone’s credit & tell her/ us that you’re going to try your best to which means sending her information to a few banks but never did because we never received a call or email back about the 2014 white impala...I could not trade my car & Mr. Weeks said that the banks wouldn’t approve me with 2 cars already in my name.....So my mom was going to purchase the car and Dean act as if he was about to help but just kind of rushed us off the phone when we called back inquiring about the vehicle...I had to call back for him to send me a Bill of sale via email because I wanted to see if my bank would approve my credit so in case the banks he called didn’t approve maybe mine would but he never let us knew what was going on with the process I mean absolutely NOTHING as if he didn’t want to help us get the car and I had to leave this message with the secretary/switchboard operator because he rushed me off the phone ...... My mom & I experience was NOT good at all just rushed process didn’t feel Mr. Weeks did anything to help us doing this car buying experience.....p.s. Mr. Weeks seem as if he was going to help but just a lack of communication, information and interest in helping us purchase this particular car ..... hopefully he’ll make some changes

I dropped a vehicle off the night before and was told they would look at it first thing in the morning. I got there at 8:00 a.m. and at 2:30 p.m. it was still waiting. Seeing it was done I purchased a truck from them. The owner told me he knew the original owner and he was very meticulous about his cars. And if I had any problems with it to just call and he would take care of it. After driving 20 minutes the engine light came on. I pulled into another Chevy dealership also rated 5 stars and found multiple problems. Upon calling them I was told my Warranty was only good with them and they wanted me to drive it back 500 miles with serious issues. After telling them several times I still wanted the vehicle they sent someone to repossessed it. The owner said he would call me as soon as they evaluated the truck. Its been 2 weeks and we are still waiting. Go figure. I would definitely recommended not shopping in this small community. You want good service and a good experience go where the money is ... A much larger dealer.

Fairey Chevrolet was very easy to work with. I was looking to buy a new car for my mom. She knew exactly what she wanted and I wanted to conduct business online with no high pressure sales tactics. Within a few emails and phone calls we had the car that she wanted with the options that she wanted for a fair price. We made a deal on the phone and I went in and got the car for that price with no additional fees added.
Dealing with Ty was like buying a car from a close friend. We had visited another dealership the previous day, and our experience at Fairey Cheverolt Cadillac was like night and day. Ty was very friendly and personable. While we test drove the Buick, he had our trade-in appraised. By the time we got back he had prepared an offer which was within our price range and a little lower than I had expected. There was no haggling over the price and my wife and I felt no pressure to make a decision. It was also a pleasure dealing with the finance manager, Dane. He thoroughly explained everything we needed to sign while being very friendly and polite. This was the best car buying experience either I or my wife have had.

My car buying experience with Fairey Chevrolet was exceptional. I started the process online which took only minutes. Once in the showroom to complete the paperwork, the entire process to about 30 minuted. The staff was exceptional to me and my family. The entire process was great!
Unfriendly, down right nasty, receptionist in the service area.I was passing through SC and my car started running hot so I stopped to have it checked before continuing four more hours on the road. I stopped at a garage where they said the reservoir was empty and suggested taking it to the cadillac dealer. When I described the.problem (empty reservoir) she continually sighed and was very combative. Then snarled for me to, go sit in there and wait while pointing down the hall. An hour and a half wait for them to fill the reservoir.$92.50 to put water in the reservoir!Not what I would expect from a cadillac dealetship.
The salesman, Vern Whitmore, was very good at calling me back, following up and giving me the rock bottom price for the vehicle I was inquiring about over the phone, saving me from wasted time, haggling etc. I didnt have to spend a lot of time at the dealership finalizing the deal, as my past experience at other dealerships has been. They are quick, responsive and wont waste your time. Ty got approvals quickly and was efficient, making the the signing of papers quick as well.
