Dr. Dawn and her staff were so sweet. They squeezed me in at the end of their day (staying late for me) for an emergency. The cost was super reasonable as well. I have nothing but good things to say about them. I would definitely recommend friends and family to come here. Thank you so much!

Will never go anywhere else. I brought an RX to them from my eye doctor because their selection of frames is the best around. When I got them back I could not see out of them. Their doctor checked my eyes and the RX was not accurate. They worked with me diligently and reorder them. They were so patient through my frustration. Cant say enough about their amazing staff!

Rating 3 starts instead of 1 because the doctor and one of the receptionists are ANGELS. I could not have had a better and more pleasant experience with THEM. However there is one technician that ruined this place for me. She is so downright rude and cold. She doesnt explain ANYTHING and uses one word sentences. I have been going to Eye Was Framed for about 3 years and I am now due for my checkup but ended up cancelling it after yet another rude phone conversation with her. Unfortunately my interactions with her have caused me to find an alternative doctor. Medical care and the thought of something being wrong is already anxiety-inducing enough. I dont want to have to worry about rude office staff on top of that.

Did not keep my appointment time for 6pm and asked me to come in at 6:40pm which I did politely. Receptionist had my benefits and told me my contact lens fitting would not be covered. Had to go outside to then call my insurance provider myself and verify that it in fact was covered. After that I came back in and a very nice lady named Michelle helped me and gave tips for my dry eyes. Dr. Dawn is very sweet as is Michelle, but the rest of the staff left me fuming. I now do not have my contact lens prescription and debating even going back. Billed my fitting as premium with no reasoning behind it and the lady on the desk was feeding me answers that sounded like they were made up on the spot instead of asking somebody who actually knew why it was billed as premium. Called insurance again and it should not have been billed as premium as far as the insurance informed me. The lady at the desk also brought into question the people I talked to at the insurance company saying they did not know what they were talking about. Seems like a big scam to just bill a fitting any way they choose without having any solid reasoning behind it. The premium and standard categories are determined by the insurance NOT the doctor as the lady condescendingly told me. Michelle and Dr. Dawn were very sweet and this is not to take away from that, but the other two staff members and the billing was so awful that I may not even return to get my lense prescription and just go elsewhere. I am a new patient and have 3 family members needing a new eye care provider and they just lost out on my entire family because of my experience.

Doctor Dawn is great! She always makes you feel like you’re talking to an old friend during your exam. And the rest of the staff is wonderful and very helpful!

I have been a patient of Eye Was Framed for several years now, and could not be more satisfied, Top ratings in all areas. From the professionalism, competence and completeness of Dr. Dawn Tuminollo to the support and concern of her entire staff they would be hard, if not impossible to beat. When I broke my glasses they had them fixed in no time. When the lens manufacturer did not get one lens just right then had it replaced on a rush basis. If you want top quality eye care from complete professionals this is the place you should go.

Polite service, but... This was my first visit. Doctor did the exam and issued new prescription. I went to technician to order new glasses. Unfortunately there was no frames I liked within my price range. This place is pricey. Well, I left place without ordering. I used the prescription to get safety glasses from my workplace and apparently something went wrong. Glasses made to the prescription are not right. I can see much better with my old glasses, than new ones. Im not sure where is the fault at this point. Since new prescription was a lot different than old one I tend to blame the prescription. I used my workplace glasses service before and their glasses were always right. So I will update this review after I get another checkup. For now two stars.Update: three years later. Prescription was actually correct. I apparently had progression in my eye condition. Comment about prices still stands.

I have been with Eye Was Framed for several years now. Everyone is great, helpful and friendly. The frames are pricing but everything else is perfect. Would definitely recommend them.
