I would love to share my review about this location.I have been coming here since I was a kid, and all I can say is that it’s been going downhill for the past 7 or so years after the one guy doctor left, can’t remember his name.To start, I called a few weeks ago to schedule an appointment and the person answered the phone and said they’d transfer me to the reception desk to schedule the appointment. Got transferred to dead air, no ringing and I waited for a few minutes to see if maybe their waiting system was wonky. Hung up, called back and got transferred again. When I finally got to the right person, the date they gave me ended up working out perfectly because I had already taken that specific day off work for a different doctors appointment. So the day comes and I called to double check the time because my first appointment was running a little late. When I called, they first asked if the appointment was for that day, to which I said yes. They said they didn’t have me showing in the system for that day or even that week. I said that I called a few weeks prior and that is the date and time they gave me and I was only calling to confirm the time. They asked for my phone number to give me a call back so they can look in a different system? At this point my appointment was an hour away and it takes me about 30 minutes to get there so I was hoping they’d call soon. To this day I have not received a call back. It’s interesting too because I was sharing this with my mother and she told me she had the exact same experience which is why she doesn’t go there anymore. Apparently this was not a one off thing and I can only imagine how many other people had the same experience. How do you just completely lose a patients appointment in the system? Did I make an appointment with a fake employee? Their glasses and other products and services are overpriced anyways. Thanks for saving me a few hundred bucks. With peace and love, this is an obviously dysfunctional office which should be avoided. 1 star.
It has taken me 5+ years to find another pair of glasses I liked and I have been to several dozen competitors before I tried For Eyes. They have a great selection and Id also like to thank Sherri for all her help! Highly recommended, 5 stars!
Knowing I exhausted my Insurance for 2020-21 I decided to stop in and just window shop. After being assisted by a young lady named Francis she said give me your insurance information and lets see whats available. She discovered discounts via insurance that has yet to be used. She educated me on how the discounts can be applied. Of course I walked out with(2) pair of glasses. Thank to Francis I didnt have to wait until 2022.
I had an issue with my existing glasses that I have owned for almost a year. I stopped in 5 minutes before closing, the team immediately helped me out, after checking my temperature. Great job to Team Orland For Eyes!! Great staff!
My eye exam was comprehensive. Dr. Lilas clearly explained the results.After asking my preferences, Juan suggested frames that would work with my new prescription. He quickly found three frames among the hundreds on the wall. I have been a customer for many years.
Dr. Lilas Effie is a wonderful, knowledgeable and helpful doctor. She has helped me get the best possible eye contacts for my particle case over the years. Best eye doctor Ive had in a long time. Keep up the good work doc!
I got custom oakley sunglasses and same frames with clear lenses and I can just clean them and the lenses fall out. I paid alot alot of money for these. Bringing in this week now that theyre open and Im back in Illinois. Very upset.
I had originally started my journey at Americas Best in Tinley Park. Americas Best had poor selection and outrageous prices. Therefore, I went across the street to For Eyes. Upon entering into the store in Tinley Park, I was greeted by a grumpy female. I had explained to this associate that I was interested in buying two frames in which I had already chosen which two I was looking to purchase. The associates response was that unless I had a prescription, I was unable to make a purchase. My other option was to see the doctor for an exam but I was unable to see the doctor that evening due to there not being one on site until next week after the promotion had ended. I kindly explained to the woman that I was unavailable until the following week due to work, and asked if I was able to make the purchase that night and then come in next week for the exam. She once again said that was not possible and dismissed me. Upon receiving this unprofessional treatment, I left the establishment and went to the For Eyes in Orland Park. Once I got to the Orland Store, I was greeted by the store manager Francis Larregui. I once again explained my situation to her. Francis said that it would not be a problem to make the purchase that night and to come in the following week for the exam. Due to Francis, I was able to discover a better selection of frames at a better price. Her customer service was exceptional and has now ensured a repeat customer to this location of For Eyes.Also the onsite doctor at the Orland location offered to squeeze me in for an eye exam that night which I declined due to time constraints. Very much appreciated though. This particular location is everything I could ask for. Thank you orland park For Eyes and Francis!
The doctor is amazing! She really got the perfect lense for me......... But her team unfortunately is not. I went in there being told by my insurance to specifically go to For Eyes. After my eye exam the receptionist missearched my insurance and told me I was not covered. I was shocked. I had to pay out of pocket. The next day I come to find that I did in fact have vision insurance. I have been in contact with her office 5 times now and still have not been refunded for what insurance does cover. After talking with the receptionist, she began to tell me it was my fault.... Ive never written a review but this has honestly been ridiculous.
Dr was very nice. When I began looking for glasses I was told there was a promotion and that the only catch was I had to spend at least $100. So I picked out 3 frames thinking I can as I was getting 50% off all of them. Got though the whole checkout process to find out that was only if you bought a lens package for each pair which start at 99 each. It was a very sneaky and frustrating experience.
Came in on a Groupon and spent more than was indicated. People are nice but my glasses have lost a lens three times in six months. This has never happened before and Ive been wearing glasses for 53 years!
Dr. Effie is simply fabulous. She is patient, knowledgeable and totally understands my needs. I would refer anyone to go here!
