My husband and I visited for the first time and we have never had such a thorough exam. Dr. Kirschner and his staff were wonderful and offered great recommendations. I would recommend this practice to family and friends.
This was my first time back in 5 years. The place was spotless. Everyone was happy and pleasant. Nice to be around. Dr Ken took his time examining me & told me everything being done, which I appreciated because I was very nervous. Carly was sweet & offered me many options and didn’t press it if I didn’t want the extras. Cant wait to get my new glasses Thanks to the whole staff who treated me like a friend and not a $ dollar sign.
Highly recommend this vision place, amazing and nice people work here, they answered all my questions, and helped me pick out the best glasses that suits my face.
Update below original post!I have been a patient here for years. However, that ends today. I called the doctors office five minutes to 6:00 pmto tell them I had been caught by a train. I told the individual on the other line that I would be there in less than five minutes. Please understand I was only stopping by to pick up glasses that were there for a prescription adjustment. In a very condescending tone, I was told that the systems were already shut down and that they would not be waiting past 6:00 pm. She stated if I got there at 6:00 pm they would be closed. Sure enough I got there right at 6:00 pm and lights were on but the door was locked. I understand they closed at 6:00 pm. I am furious because of the poor customer service. I was three minutes away and I got there right at 6:00 pm.to pick up glasses. She didnt even bother toapologize or give me the the hours for the following day. I guess customer service doesnt mean much to them. However, it means everything to me. There is no way I wouldnt have let a customer in right at closing for a pick up. Especially, if they had called prior. Needless to say, I will be seeking out another eye doctors office who values customer service.Update 3-14-20!!!The morning after I submitted my review I received a call from Dave (Office Manager). He immediately apologized about my encounter and ensured me he would investigate the situation. He didnt make any excuses and he didnt take my experience lightly. Dave even volunteered to come in on his day off so that I could pick up my glasses. I opted to pick them up on Thursday night instead.Dave went above and beyond to ensure I received a first class customer service experience and thats exactly what I received when I arrived on Thursday night. I was greeted warmly and he had everything prepped and ready to go when I arrived.I cant thank him enough! He turned my negative experience into a very positive one. I will continue as a patient thanks to Daves exceptional customer service!Thank you Dave and Kirschner Vision!
Verified ahead of time that my contact exam was covered by my insurance. At the very end of my exam (where they still didnt seem to know which contacts would work best) they tried to charge me $65. For the exam... that they said was covered. Some guy came out to say the same thing the lady was telling me but in a more condescending tone. Obviously, integrity isnt an important part of their business. I would steer clear of this place.
Kirschner Vision is about Preserving our sight. The professionalism and caring from the doctors, the staff and latest equipment to test our eyes, variety of frames, options of lenses, contact lenses if you so desire and other additions That is why My husband and I go to Kirschner Vision group. We have been going there for many years and plan to go there for many more.
Both myself and my daughter have had appointments and been fitted for glasses. We had a GREAT experience. Everyone is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and kind. Im glad we were referred by a co-worker. It is so nice to go in and have someone actually help you pick out glasses. They take their time and make sure you are getting the best fit. I highly recommend them.

Ive been a patient here for years. I love my doctor Ken. However, my glasses are always so expensive. Im a senior on a fixed income and I get the best offer available to me. I like blended lenses the transitional lens.
Both my husband and I bought our glasses through Kirschners for the first time and the last time . When I received my glasses I noticed the frames had some glue on one of the arms, so I called them up and asked if they were the display frames. I was told they were the display frames and that it was common for them to use the frames off of their shelves and put my new lenses in. Their reason was so that you would get your glasses faster . Now if you want new frames you’re supposed to ask for them that makes no sense to me . That bothered me as I spent $265 for my frames I expected new frames, not frames that were tried on by everybody, bent out, scratched up, so with some persuasion I insisted that they order me new frames. I asked if they did the same thing with my husbands glasses and they said yes so I told them that they needed to order him new frames too. I was rudely told that this is a normal practice for them. If I’m ordering new glasses I want new frames not used frames and the frames that are on the wall are used frames. I will never go back there again my glasses were good but I didn’t like their practice of sneakiness.
Kirschner Vision Source is GREAT! Dr. Sasha was patient as we went through a process to get the right leans for me- she was very thorough and most of all really cared about making sure I had the best lens possible. The young ladies in the office- Nicole, Rachel, and Chiquita were also very nice and very helpful. I highly recommend Kirschner Vision Source!
Nancy, the Optician, in the Glasses Store--was very patient and thorough in helping tweak my new 4 month old (Kirschner) glasses with a few adjustments here and there. I went in thinking my Rx was messed up--but Nancy was able to solve the perceived problem by repositioning the temples and the nose pads! Whod a thunk!? Attention to detail! Thank you.
Dr L. Wilson, is an outstanding physician. We would like to have her at Orland Park office during a weekday, Saturdays are sometimes difficult to schedule. All the employees are fantastic at the Orland office. A observation would be to have water and coffee available to the patientsG. Binkowski

Dr Paul and all the good folks at the Orland office very nice and professional and Jenny who put up with my nonsense, Ill be back.
Lenses always take way too long to be made. Ordered a pair of Liberty Chopper frames. Took 2 weeks to come in. One of the lenses had the wrong script. You would think the reorder would be rushed, but no. Been a week since the reorder and Im still waiting. I will never by another frame or lense here again.
