The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Cierra helped me make the best out of my insurance benefit and really walked me through finding the perfect pair of glasses. She also readjusted a couple pairs of my older glasses and ensured they fit right. I wasnt even expecting to buy another pair of glasses. Im incredibly impressed with their customer service and feel grateful to have picked such a great location. In the past, Ive always felt rushed and disregarded by eyewear employees at various locations throughout the city - this location made picking out a new pair of glasses fun and easy. I highly recommend coming here.

Had 3 pair made twice. Got a refund just fine. But have had a real problem getting my insurance reset. Got the refund in July and have called 3 times to get this resolved. Still waiting for a call back.

The time period to receive your glasses is not acceptable. You pay your money at time of service. You should be able to receive your glasses within a 3 day time period or less. Glasses are mandatory like medication.

After having a LOT of issues with a different location within the same company, the Oak Park location (specifically Store Manager, Theresa) was amazing to work with. Staff is incompetent. Overnight female with green hair was rude and not trying to help, too lazy to even get up and come assist me.. other worker was cluless.. i ordered lens and was told told to go back to pick up in 3 weeks so i did and staff was no help.. Manager need to work on their customer service. Green hair told me i was incorrect... but she was too lazy to even look. i had my eye distance measured and frame style was written down... i will be calling corporate.. why work if you too tired or lazy to help customers..

Horrible customer service by the office manager and the other staff member. I was rushed and cut off when i was trying to get assistance and while I was talking. The office manager didnt have time to assist me she kept complaining about customers coming and and it was her anniversary I called the store ahead of time and was told that they would be able to help but after I get there.. i stood and waited 18 minutes before I was rushed off and without them even trying assist me.. I observed both employees deal with other customers before they finally came to me after they realized I wasnt gonna move without getting to speak with manager. They started whispering to each other and I was told they couldnt help me and too come back. Why would I go back after this?? I found it interesting how polite they spoke to other customers.I am not of the Caucasian race and it was obviously a problem both employees had with my race. Neither the manager or the tall female talked to the other customers in the manner they did to me. This is the 3rd encounter which I was treated and talk to rudely. I will be filling a corporate complaint and with the BBB. You shouldnt work with customers if you have a problem with them not looking like you. I have had other people tell me the same about some of the staff, but know i can believe it after dealing with it first hand. Will never recommend the place to anyone. Bailey is a sweetheart, she is the only person that took time to help me when I was treated rudely the first 2 times I visted the store. The hate in America is still real. After making the rounds of several other optical stores, Vision Works at Oak Park is now my go-to! I’ve been fortunate to work with Julie for every purchase I’ve made. She is great to work with! So personable, knowledgeable and helpful in choosing a great frame for my face. I’ve never had a problem with any of my lenses or frames. Very satisfied customer here!

I normally work with another staff member and I never remember his name. But, he recognizes me when I come in. He has always been super helpful. On this visit, I worked with Julie. Julie was helpful without being pushy. She helped picked options and when I rejected those styles, she was mindful of that when she pointed out other styles. I have a terrible time finding glasses that I like and fit me due small head/face size. Visionworks had a better selection than any other place I went. They also have great promotions to help make my progressive bifocal more affordable. Julie was a terrific help in assisting me in finding a frame that fit me well. I called the store, told Ralph which ones I wanted, he found them and set them aside for me until I arrived.He helped me as soon as I came in, he had them right there.Ralph gave me a great deal on the glasses I wanted. He waited patiently while I called to find out who our insurance was with.Then I found out that they don’t take my insurance, so I asked him to hold those while I checked with a Big name glasses store. Very professional and efficient as always. Julie did a great job helping my son with choosing his frames and making sure the fit was just right. She also helped us through a last-minute insurance glitch on the last day of the year and made sure the options on his lenses were the same he had before. The glasses were ready in an hour as promised. A few days earlier, my wife and I along with our two other sons who wear glasses were also served very well by Julie. She pointed out the my oldest sons current frames didnt fit right; we had never noticed. It was very nice to work with someone who has 20+ years in the optical profession.

Highly recommend Visionworks for their professional staff, great specials and wide selection of frames. Theresa and Ralph patiently helped me choose both glasses and sunglasses that were in my budget but fun and stylish as well. I bought my last several pairs of eye glasses from Visionworks for good reason. The staff there is so helpful in picking out frames that look good on you. This time I had trouble with the first pair I ordered. I loved the look of the glasses but they just did not work for me. Visionworks, in particular Jennifer B. took very good care of me. She helped me pick out new frames and gladly ordered new glasses for me and I got them in less than a week. No one questioned me when I told them that they just did not fit me well and that I needed to select a different pair. Jennifer took great care to make sure that they were adjusted correctly for my face etc.. I received great customer service. Ralph, the store manger is also great to work with.

Ive been getting my glasses from here for the last few years or so. I always have a great experience whenever I come to the store. Im always able to find the right pair of glasses with no issue. Julie is always right there helping me with whatever I need. Shes my favorite sales associate to deal with. She gives her honest opinion on which pair of glasses would be the best and I definitely appreciate it. It helps to have a second or third opinion. She takes her time in making sure that everything is perfect regarding the prescription, lenses/frames, etc. and making sure that there wont be any errors with the order. The staff is very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable! My husband and I were approached by a nice woman right when I walked in. She asked how she could help me and I said I was looking for glasses and that I wanted to browse over their selection. She said if I needed help on making a selection or had any questions she would be right over at her desk. She was low pressure which I LOVE!I ended up buying a pair of Coach no line bifocals and a pair of Nine West sunglasses, as well. I purchased eyeglasses from the Visionworks location in 2013. A screw from the eyeglass frame came lose causing one of the lenses to fall out. I took the glasses to Visionworks and the employee who helped me was able to fix my glasses within a couple of minutes at no charge. It was a very positive experience considering the eyeglasses were purchased six years ago. I highly recommend this Visionworks location.

They took my information including my social security number, and told me to show up at 4. When my sons glasses from another company kept breaking, I ordered new frames online and took them into Visionworks. They switched his lenses to the new frames for free for me (and even molded the frames to fit his face) even though I wasnt a customer. Twice! When it was time to for us to get new glasses (frames and lenses), we went to Visionworks to see what their prices were. Visionworks had good prices, a good sale running, and their salespeople were knowledgeable about their stock. They molded the frames to fit my son (without a long wait like our previous glasses store) and were very friendly. Compared to other glasses places, we were very impressed with the promptness, quality and customer service at Visionworks.
