Worst location always the staff never know anything. And they never know correct company policies theyre always coming up with some new policy and they just blame the company no accountability.

These stores have really gone down hill lately. They dont stock much anymore and their stores just feel empty. This used to be a good place to find used titles but not anymore. I like owning the physical copy of a good game and yeah they just dont have it anymore

We finally broke down and bought ourselves a Switch! People are always knowledgable and experienced. Never had a bad time here. Plus youre getting video games here. How could you not enjoy that!

The staff had little knowledge of store selection

Just like any GameStop. Pretty good selection, pricey on used games, bunch of t shirts and stuff like that. EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE CONTROLLERS!!! You can save about $20 on controllers at Walmart. If you check out their weekly paper they usually have some pretty good sales on new games.

Manager is lazy and low on stock this place has gone downhill since 2012.

Drove from austin to owatonna just to find out they sold us a copy of a game that was region blocked to a diffrent country and will not play with our council. now have to drive over an hour and a half round trip to return it and order the american copy...

Friendly staff, just wish some employees werent so pushy about future releases and preordering. Definitely a great selection of games, consoles, and accessories.

I bought a Nintendo Wii console system for my son for Christmas, he put in the game I bought him, played it only twice and we went to take out the game to play a different one and the disc wont eject. I contacted game stop and they said it was more than 30 days ago so they wont replace the console. So here we are with a console system that will only play the game that is in it.Thanks for nothing Game Stop, I will Never buy anything from you again!

Tried Buying 1000 Vbuck cards for Merry Mint Pickaxe code. Clifton (the manager) said he could no longer do it after doing a few already. He said it was taking too long and didn’t want people to wait in line. I looked around the store and saw 2 other people talking to the other employee and was the only person in line at the time. It takes 10 seconds to do each card. I can tell he was very lazy and just didn’t want to do it. Never has any issues with any other GameStop besides this one. I am dumbfounded that your a manager. Quit your job if you hate it so much.

Seller beware, they are a glorified pawn shop. You will get gouged selling through them, and make sure to inspect the discs carefully before you buy used. Their staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and quite helpful though.

I have mixed feelings about this location. Sometimes I feel like the people that are employed there need a hug and a smoke break. Nice folks but probably underpaid and underappreciated.

Went to buy no mans sky which came out yesterday. Was told they only had digital copies left. Asked about the digital copy and desideded to wait. The girl working asked are you sure we might not get it for awhile. Seemed strange to me that they wouldnt be getting any more copies of one of this years best games but told her I was sure. She then told me dont bother looking no one else has it. I looked anyways and not only did I find it at the Walmart they share a parking lot with but target also . F her

I dont really know why gamestop still exists in 2019, but the employees were very nice and i was able to get the 3ds i wanted without having to order it online.

The staff here are always very friendly from the minute you walk in the door, they greet you. Very knowledgeable about the products they sell, and always treat my son like an equal and banter with him about games, etc.

5 out of 6 games Ive bought from here dont even work. My machine says disc unreadable, when there is no single scratch on the discs. Ridiculous. Never buying from here again

Being a regular customer - I appreciate the quality of customer service by the Owatonna Gamestop staff.

Kind and knowledgeable staff, often provide detailed advice, and always putting the customer first.

I have been a GameStop customer since they bought out Funcoland​ I have had many bad experiences and countless good experiences the staff is usually on point and extremely helpful. The prices they offer are not always the best but they are very competitive so at least they dont overcharge. GameStop offers great warrenty and return programs. As for trading in your things wether its for cash or credit dont expect a bunch of money for your things, they give you good prices but it wont make you rich, if you want top dollar for your merchandise then put all the hard work and time in yourself. They need some kind of profit to pay their employees. GameStop in my opinion is great for hardcore gamers or even just a once a month player, and they offer more than just games,, ie. Clothes, accessories, collectibles, memorabilia, and much more.. so go check out a GameStop near you and have a good time.

I gave my 10 year old grandson $ for Mario kart for his switch.He left with rocket league and some $20 race game.Rocket league is a remake of a 3 year old game !Going across the lot to Walmart from now on.
