I visited autovance on Wednesday. To buy a new battery. And returned the old one. The salesman that help me greeted me as soon as I came in. Went got me a new battery. He cash me out and I was on my way. Very nice there and very helpful. Alton short.

I bought a Weber Spirit II E-210 2 burner gas grill from the ACE Oxford store in June 2021. I couldnt have been more happy with my purchase and the experience. The staff is so nice and helpful. I used two Visa gift cards and they were very patient with me. The full Rhino propane tank was the best price in the area. I got free assembly on the grill which was so worth it, it was ready in 1 day, and they helped me get it into my Highlander.

What a great place!! Employees are awesome. They are able to multi task by helping many customers and can answer almost any question. They also have common sense and very personable. Very clean well stocked store. Worth the trip. Keep it up as I will be back !!

I feel bad about going here because I am a shareholder in Home Depot. With that being said, have you ever stood in an aisle and needed help but it was nowhere to be found? Well thats the exact reason why I go to Ace. Always somebody immediately to help you out and never a line. They go out of their way to help you. Close and convenient!

I started going here because of the pandemic. Didnt want go to Home Depot and wanted to support local business. I really like it. They have everything I need and a Post Office. Very good service and convienant as I usually go to Market 32 in the same plaza.

I started using this as my local hardware store, even though its a further drive from my old one, since they opened. For the past year or two Ive noticed a trend that is causing me to switch to another local HWS. The problem is restocking, at most trips for electrical parts or plumbing fittings they are out of stock or the incorrect stock is in the wrong spot. It happens repeatably to me....i.e. 3/4 black iron caps last week, today was ANY gauge female terminal connector.

Small hardware store. Not a home Depot or Lowes but they have the odds and ends when you need a quick item or two

Helpful and friendly staff. Decent selection. Prices are a little high but not unreasonable. Glad to have them in town. Much more convenient than big box stores.

Placed order online. Got email it was ready within minutes. Drove to store and there was a really long line. Found someone in the aisle as asked how I picked up an online order. He went behind counter and gave it to me. Easy. Peasy. Lemon. Squeezy. I was in and out in under 2 minutes. The place was very clean well laid out.

I have shopped quite often at this Oxford Hardware Store. When to purchase sump pump check valve. They didnt have the one I needed in stock. Therefore, I found the part, part number, etc online, on their website using my smart phone while I was in store. Employee wrote info, my name and phone # on a piece of paper and promised to call me. Received no call. 10 days later, I go back looking for my valve. They reordered my valve. Rewritten all my personal information again. 14 days later, received no call. Finally, I gave up and when to another Hardware Store. Totally unorganized and unprofessional. Why dont they order and document with a computer???

Settled for what they had. Disappointed

The staff is friendly, but mostly clueless on the products they offer. There have been a few times where the staff didn’t know they had a product on the shelf and I had to find it for them. They once claimed they were doing me a favor re-opening the only register after they had closed it early during business hours. Not a place for a professional contractor, go to Oxford Lumber five minutes down the road to save yourself time and energy. I’ve tried to like the store and support the local businesses, but it’s not worth it here anymore

It is a great place to shop where the shelves are well stocked, organized, friendly assistance when needed and to support local business. This store is my first go to for a variety of items, having several awesome women on staff is also wonderful and makes it a pleasure and during these trying times I feel the safety for their employees and customers are their number one priority and the handling of the situation is outstanding. Thank you for being a good neighbor in the community.

Awful. Coupons to this store are a sham because they wont let you use them. Employees are useless and clueless. Place is over priced and I watched as the 3 male employees watched a woman struggle to carry several heavy items to the counter without a single one of them asking her if she needed help.

This location is wonderful I had assistance with a glass cutting experience. It was fitting to a t and the staff were remarkable. I would shop here any day. Especially the kids at the counter were so respectful and helpful. The manager cut my glass herself she did a wonderful job. I highly recommend Ace hardware.

I am sorry to write this review. I went to Ace in Oxford to purchase an item, and while there inquired about the return policy after I purchased the item. They were not taking returns due to COVID. I was not pleased with this so I returned the product before leaving. Funny how my bank account gets charged immediately, however, the return will take a week. I called to question this and they had no time for me and put me an extended hold. I was also told after I had to wait in a long line to enter, that I was to do no shopping. Only to get what I needed and get out. HMMM, how on earth could I possibly get what I needed without shopping. A bit over the top, considering we all had masks and they had more workers than shoppers in the store at any given time. Not helpful at all. I am reluctant to give them my business in the future. I have had a handful of not too pleasant experiences so far there. :(((( Not at all happy

Apparently they want to secretly run a pet store. 4 dogs were in the store, roaming free, and they approached my husband while at the checkout counter. He is extremely allergic and the store better consider themselves lucky he wasnt taken to the hospital because of their ridiculous mascots. That store is a lawsuit waiting to happen! We wont be returning, because we dont want to get attacked by these animals just for being there.

Its got one of everything.ask and they will find. I do not like the dogs / dog that are off leash and wander the store. Some folks are afraid of dogs. Yes, yes. They are friendly, dont bite..... until they do.

Brought my black lab with me on a leash in here around december thinking ace hardware is pet friendly only to have a brindle colored pit(oddly enough the owners, from what an older employee said) off leash come up the second I walked in and bit him, no damage done. I work with dogs and understand some dogs are alpha in their pack and things happen but the women behind the desk did nothing nor did they leash the dog, who continued to follow us back where the key section was where I had to literally push it away and yell some profanity at a few of the workers. The only employee who said anything was an older employee who ended up giving my dog a treat and telling me a story of his labrador. Just be careful if you walk in their with your dog.Edit: I have been back multiple times since this incident and can say they are much better about the issue and not having dogs free roam the store

I love that they are dog friendly and the store staff is always welcoming and helpful. Looking at the nay sayers reviews which are racist and nasty on other places I suggest not taking that into consideration, if you support dog rescue and local business i suggest coming here.

As someone who has severe allergies to pet dander I was shocked when I entered the store to find four dogs roaming around. Apparently the owner and manager want to run a pet store and cater only to people without allergies, which I find very discriminatory. They also apparently dont think about the risks to children possibly being bitten or attacked. Shame on them!! Do yourself a favor and go to a hardware store that puts customers needs and concerns first!

Rude and unfriendly staff. Went to get stamps today and was growled at by the older woman at the postal desk. This was the icing on the cake after my experience a few weeks ago. My 4 year old and 8 month old were sleeping in the car so I dropped my wife off and proceeded to drive around the parking lot. On my second lap behind the building I was blocked in by a man on a forklift who then got off of it and pounded on my window telling me this was private property and Im not supposed to be driving back there (although there are no signs posted). Needless to say his aggressive and extreme behavior not only woke up my kids but scared them. I called the store later twice and asked to speak to the manager and was hung up on both times. Ill make it my business to avoid this place as many of my neighbors and friends already do. Good job Mr. Toughguy forklift operator, you scared a couple of kids!
