They gave us a quote to fix a vehicle that was in a hit and run (typed it up on paper quote). THEN, when they found out we had insurance that was paying it for the other party, they said they needed to update the quote. They made it almost $1,000 less due to the insurance...... it makes no sense. Extremely unprofessional!!!!!! They said it changed and they would use a junk yard door, buffer it, etc. Now other places here quoted way more. Sounds like they are in someone’s pocket. STAY AWAY!

The best collision repair shop around. Outstanding staff. They have repaired my car four times. Once someone hit back bumper. They did an outstanding job. Then about four months later someone ran light and hit front quarter and hood. Again outstanding repair job. Then hit two deer within six months of each other. Both times repairs where better than factory. Thank You.

This was mine and my husbands first time using this place and it will for sure be the last! My husbands tailgate on his f350 was stolen off his truck almost 2 months ago. We immediately called out insurance company and they said it was covered and all we would have to pay is the deductible and recommended Gerber collision & Glass. We called that day and made an appointment and his new tailgate arrived that following Monday. They had to tailgate sitting in the shop for a MONTH before it was even painted. Once it was painted they told us it should be put together and ready the following day. It took them 2 WEEKS to put the tailgate together because they had to keep ordering parts because they didnt know they were missing. Im sorry, but after having the tailgate for a MONTH they should have checked at some points on if they had all the parts. (they had to order parts TWICE). So all together it took 1.5 MONTHS to paint and put together a tailgate. The whole time all we could get from them was random apologies, we are working on it, we should have it ready by _____ (random dates that they never met). I ended up calling up to my insurance provider and filing a complaint through them and they said it was unacceptable and they were calling and possibly pulling they contract they have with them. After they called it was amazing how quick it finally got done!

One of the better collision shops in town. My girlfriend has had two accidents and had them both fixed at this location. She was not disappointed. The car was ready when promised and I would say the car looked almost as good as it was before the accident. Nothing is perfect, but they did a really nice job.

Staff is incredibly unresponsive, going so far as to avoid calls and emails. And dont try to get them to help in any way with an insurance claim...they go out of their way to avoid any disputes you may need their assistance with.

They couldnt help me because I own an aluminum body Ford F-150, but they helped me find a Gerber in Jacksonville that could. BTW dont buy the new Ford F-150, not even Ford service centers are trained to repair the body.

I dropped my 2015 Nissan Altima off to Gerber Collision & Glass in Palatka, Fl on March 16, 2016. My car was rear ended causing damage to the bumper, trunk and quarter panel. When I dropped my car off it was about 10 AM, I have received a phone call every day since the 16th telling me that my car was ready. Every time I have visited the shop to inspect my car, it has been presented to me with less than adequate workmanship. The first visit on March 17th to “pick-up” my car, a little over 24 hours from the time I dropped it off, I immediately popped my trunk. There was a huge gap between the car body and the bumper. You could clearly see that the bumper was not installed correctly because you could see the ground clearly through the gap. I looked in my trunk and the plastic piece was not replaced nor was the trunk latch. The plastic piece was still visibly separated from the carpet in my trunk. I was told that they would get the plastic piece on order and would correct the bumper. The following day, March 18th I was called again to come and pick up my car. This time I showed up to the shop and my car was sitting outside of their gate. After getting an associate and having him inspect the car with me again, the gap in the bumper was still there. The gap was smaller but still visible. My rental car happens to be a 2015 Nissan Altima as well, so I showed him the difference between the two. He agreed that the work was not correct and he had his best guy on this. I told him that the work he was presenting me with was less than mediocre and it was becoming a waste of time to come up there every day when the gap was still clearly visible. And on the left quarter panel it was not in line with the rest of the car. When running your hand over the area you could feel it protruding from the car. He then advised me that they could just stick a retainer in there to fix it. He asked me to give him another chance at fixing it. The plastic piece was installed but it still does not fit seamlessly like it should and the trunk still not open/close to my satisfaction. There was air seeping in my window after the accident and he advised me that since the repairs were done, it should have corrected that as well. We left on the understanding that he would have the bumper and quarter panel repaired. I was called again on March 21st within 24 business hours of my previous visit to come and pick up my car. This time when entering their office I was presented with my keys and my paperwork and asked to give them an “excellent” survey.
