You are the best among the rest! What I appreciate about this coffee shop is that they understand my preferences for coffee and pastries. It isnt great, but it isnt bad. You deserve to be remembered by many! Expect me to recommend your service to all of my colleagues and return here. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
What a delightful find in downtown PS. If your idea of a coffee reaches beyond the chains, then Gre is for you. Small. Quaint. And delicious are all ways I’d describe this hideaway. Say hi the friendly owner, Kelly, if she’s here. (PS: it may feel hard to find; my second photo is the street view from Palm Canyon. Head down the path between the two buildings, and you’ll run right into it.)
One of the coolest coffee shops Ive ever visited. Very mellow and laid back atmosphere and the art/photography hanging on the wall is the owners own work. Would definitely recommend the place to everyone. Coffee is great and the girl that works there is pretty awesome. Oh and theres tons of books there for you to read, board games to play and a vintage typewriter to type your novel, book or just your random thoughts on!
We came here for coffee and its a nice atmosphere! They also deliver a wide range of coffees, including local choices. The coffee was fine and well-balanced in itself. This morning, we had a special matcha latte and chocolate croissant to take away with iced coffee. If you are a coffee lover, I highly suggest this coffee shop!
Lazy morning? This coffee shop is the best place to go, especially if you want to boost your day. These guys really have the best coffee that can help you to start your day right and become productive. The service as well is truly the best, and Im sure that these guys will be highly recognized. Thanks for the great coffee, guys! Keep it up!
I finally found a coffee shop near my area. Nice, and strong full-flavored, and not as expensive as some of the others Ive tried before. They have a good taste of coffee and exceptional service throughout. The ambiance is so cozy, and the internet connection is fast. I would strongly recommend this coffee shop to everyone who loves coffee.
Great coffee, Italian Sodas, books, and records!!! I managed to find a few treasures priced exceptionally reasonable.
Thank you for serving what is best for your customers! Very strongly recommended! The coffee was also great. Speedy service.
This is my favourite spot now for lunch, or afternoon coffee and dessert, the best cake Ive ever had! The service is really good, the workers are so sweet, theyll see you soon.
Creative space with lots of wonderful records for sale. Food options are currently limited.
Great coffee talk with Art, loved my visit
Love this place! Such a funky vibe, good drinks, friendly staff!
We loved this place! Such an incredible interior and amazing vibe. Loved the records, the books and the art. Met co-owner (husband and wife duo) who was extremely friendly and had incredible stories to share. He made us a delicious open faced cheese bagel sandwich with cream cheese, avocado, basil, olive oil, salt and pep; we will definitely be recreating at home! Also had the upside down vanilla cappuccino which was so yummy - perfect for an iced coffee for the sweet tooth. Also had great chats with Casey - an adorable and wise, energetic little soul. Great staff, great experience and we will definitely be back again on our next trip to the desert!
Its was ok .Not best & not end of the bottom.either.
This place is such a gem. Super cool art gallery/awesome coffee. They carry awesome vintage records and have some photo work. Hip and friendly vibe, and a super cool manager named Kay who is funny, witty, and super cool and friendly. We clicked as if we have been long time friends. She played a record of our choice Simon and Garfunkel which I thought was super cool of her. I will be returning here often!
Horribly watered down coffee. Tasted like bad Keurig from 7-11. We both got coffees and tossed them - literally Starbucks is better than this.
Quite possibly the best coffee shop/record store/art gallery in the desert. Intimate, mellow, with amazing service.Kay, the manager, was incredibly helpful and very friendly. We sat down on a quite Saturday afternoon for a quick drink, and ended up staying just to talk with her.The coffee, itself, is incredible. Serving Klatch coffee, with tons of milk alternatives, and different flavorings. If you’re looking for a new coffee shop, come check it Gré and throw on a record, draw on the walls, and enjoy.
Love love love this place! Came here every day on my trip last week to PS for coffee and a nice chat with the owner Kelly. She gave me a great recommendation for a locals restaurant and I even bought my daughter a record to take home.
Depending on what you’re looking for this is a great little place. If you’re looking for an art museum with the Starbucks in it, this probably isn’t for you. But if you’re looking for a little local business with a great vibe and good Coffee you have found it. The food menu is a little limited but they work great with the breakfast place right across the walk and let you take food back and forth so you can get pretty much anything you want. Great conversation and A lot of nice customers. Very interesting stuff on the walls and a good selection of board games to play.
Lovely setting just off the main strip. Board games galore. Great place to grab a coffee and kill an hour or two.
This was my first visit to the coffeehouse and it actually is very small but does have a nice outside patio. I didnt see that much art but actually there are hundreds and possibly several thousand album records the Long play 33 RPMs that are available for sale and some seem to be rather rare. The owner was very nice and our group enjoyed this was my first visit to the coffee house and it actually is very small but does have a nice outside patio. Price are very reasonable and very clean. Reminds me of other coffee shop but only better. Should try this little gem of a place.
Nice secluded place with great coffee and superior service. Just visited a while ago and forgot it was there. Once I was reminded of it, I was thrilled to return. Find it, go to it. I dont think it would be this good if it were right on the tourist walk. Its lack of public prominence allows the staff to make your experience that much better!
Really cute coffee shop with classic records and great coffee - open during these times! - Highly recommend!
Great local coffee shop and art gallery. Very unique comforting space with even better coffee and snacks! there’s a toast menus here where you’re able to pick from varying types of breads and toppings! I definitely plan on returning when i come back to palm springs!
I can tell the owner put a lot of heart and soul into this tiny, but wonderful, cafe. Many of the photographs displayed are hers, along with a personally curated record collection that you can pick through and request. Its one of the few times I immediately picked a book off the shelf, plopped down into a chair, and promptly settled in with an espresso. This sign is a hallmark of good interior design and character within a small space.
Good stuff
Came by the place while on a stroll down the street. Cute spot with a community feel. Simple beverage menu with a few light sweets available. Kind staff, book exchange, vinyl collection, games, and working manual typewriter made this place particularly delightful.
Found this by complete accident while taking a stroll down Palm Canyon. Not only is their espresso incredible, but they have an assortment of table and card games you can sit and enjoy. Cute outdoor seating on a mosaic table.AND...edible waffle bowls for cereal!
Delicious coffee, great and friendly staff, awesome selection of vinyl!!
I cant call this place neither coffee house nor art galery. Coffee and service are below average. And the place is very untidy especially for food serving facility. Dust even on tables... Restroom is terrible...
I wasnt impressed with their tea selection and their Matcha is the awful light green sweetened powder stuff that you find at Boba places or at coffee shops that dont care about tea. L got an iced coffee and was content with her selection. The place itself was super cute with their vinyl, used books and games. Loved all the photographs especially the large ones playing homage to the Velvet Underground... Brings me back to my youth. I stayed at the hotel across the street 10 years ago and there was only Starbucks as an option so this place is a welcome if I were ever to stay there again.
A gem of a kitschy little coffee shop full of psychedelic memorabilia.
Simple coffee place with toast choices and great coffee! just note that there are not many seats available cos its also a small art gallery space!
Totally low key spot for a great cup of coffee. A really awesome dude working behind the counter (didn’t get his name). Def coming back
Lovely setting just off the main strip. Board games galore.
I dont like chains like Starbucks etc. Keeping it local is the best. Been here a couple of times and Im coming back. Its a little hidden spot w a cute little atmosphere which I truly enjoyed. Not many people and a cool vibe which I like.
Great atmosphere and staff, but there is something very wrong with the coffee. Off flavors from tap water (copper, iron, heavy minerals) were very evident in their pour overs, and were still noticable in their espresso drinks. The past 2 times Ive had their light roast pour over, Ive had to throw it out.Otherwise, I really like the vibe of this place, but the poor coffee makes it hard to justify this place over other local cafes.
Best place around to have a real expresso. Good music. Visit it! You will love this Cafe.
Super friendly staff and space is funky and cool but coffee has room for improvement. It may be that they specialize in flavored/different drinks but a normal latte was nowhere near the standards of a coffee shop.
My latte was a little bit sweet but good. The lady that owns it is super nice and the place has a cool vibe
Great place to stop, have a drink, and relax for a while. Open mic nights. Good music.
Awesome place, owners/staff very friendly! GRÈ-AT coffee... ( you see what I did right there... that was a play with words... )
We LOVED this coffee shop! It was super cool and we both enjoyed the drinks that we had. Service was excellent!
Design is a bit dusty, not many seating spots, not plenty of healthy choices, matcha didn’t taste like matcha at all....
Love this place, stop in every time Im in town. Best coffe in the desert. Best one on one service. Cozy.
Great coffee - small, friendly, artsy, non-chain coffeehouse. I love this little place and look forward to a return trip.
Good vibes great drinks. Service with a smile. Highly recommend the upside down cappuccino.
Love this place! The art, the music, the coffee, the friendly barista, and the great conversation I had with her. Cant wait to go back!
Hidden gem. Real espresso drinks and comfortable, low key atmosphere. Friendly, informative and welcoming employees.
Very cool coffee shop. Awesome staff. Proper coffee. Also ask about the secret menu.
Charming tucked away spot! Must visit, whether youre a coffee lover or not.
Great fun place just off the beaten path of Palm Canyon. Classic music, real coffee, still has the selection of non dairy and flavored lattes. Also has breakfast cereal in edible waffle bowls, Cards Against Humanity on the table, and a selection of books and records. Worth the few extra steps to check this place out.
The coffee was very smooth! Best in town and we tried other places and regretted our decision to go elsewhere.
The owner is the best.
Small good place to study or read a book. They have a lending library with a variety of genres.
The owners are so kind and friendly. Service is prompt and the drink tastes perfect. Thank you!
Very cool, off the beaten path. Vinyl and cool people, best chai ever, homemade!
Nice family own coffee shop. Very comfortable atmosphere.
Good coffee, great atmosphere with owners photography, wonderful hosts, quirky and fun place to sip and chill.
Great little coffee spot! Tucked away but really good coffee. They do the little things to make coffee special.
Great atmosphere and photography. Creative caffeinated drinks.
Small coffee house tucked away in the back of a center on Palm Canyon. Street parking in front, small parking lot on back. Friendly staff and great coffee.
Love this place. Having a cup of something warm and putting on a record was perfect.
Awesome coffee shop a little piece of delight if you like coffee
The best coffee beans in town! Love the dirty chai latte.
Very authentic decorationGood cinnamon muffinsBut coffee far below average- that was disappointing for a place called “coffee house” 😕
Adorable coffee shop with unique drinks and a cute art gallery.
Great coffee! Theyve got board and card games to play and hang out.
Cool coffee shop with an option for sitting outdoors!
Great place.
Fabulous casual atmosphere, wonderful service.
Great coffee spot, love that it is tucked away from the main street.
The single best coffee spot in all of Palm Springs!
A must-see in palm springs.
