They do a good job. They take their time. I like when they put the sticker on to know when is the next oil change.

The service people will not answer the phone at all No matter how many times you call. The phone will constantly ring, then go to a brief hold, then start ringing again. This happens whether you dial the main number or the Service Dept number. When I bought my Goodyear tire a year and a half ago it was the same poor customer service. Nothing has changed except the year and day.

I had a oil change yesterday and I told tm to clean my battery post and all they did they put the red grease and didnt clean the inside of the post this morning my car didnt want to start I had to look in the post and they well corrosion between the post end the clamps so they never took them out to clean them so be careful check all work they do

Just the front desk customer service convinced me to try another option.

All the Walmart auto centers are closed now due to the COVID panic so imagine my surprise when I called the Palmdale store to see if they had a car battery for me and they answered the phone immediately and were very helpful. They didnt have the 3 year warrantied battery for my car I wanted so it was no sale but I still got outstanding customer service. So I tried the 2 Lancaster stores = NOTHING. They didnt even answer the phone. So Lancaster Walmarts get ZERO stars and Palmdale gets 5 stars. Also FYI the same spec battery at 3 different auto parts stores in town was almost double the price of the Walmart battery (and Walmart used to give free install too). Walmart batteries and tires have always been very reliable for me for the past 15 years or more. Cars are mission essential equipment so why is the auto store closed? First responders, food services, medical - all need cars to get to work every day. Auto repair is an easy business to control with minimal human contact for COVID and yet its closed. It doesnt make sense to just close the auto store when you go into the main store and see every circus freak and their mother walking around spewing COVID. Just sayin, its way inconsistent. Anyway, keep up the quality customer service and great work at Palmdale Walmart. Im a big fan.

Not to good the greater was arguing with a customer that did not look good at all at the back door automotive service she was black the customer was a older women from another country lacking respect not good.

Dont buy a battery there, God forbid you get the wrong one and have to return it. They will find any excuse not to return it, even if you have the receipt. The manager there was do rude, made me wait an inirdanate amount of time to review their cameras. Had the loss prevention personnel review the cameras to see if I had purchased the battery there the night before and didnt even apologize after realizing that she was wrong. Instead, she asserted that she didnt have to authorize the return and proceeded to treat me like a criminal. I had the receipt, a witness, the store employee I purchased the battery from, and the brand new battery. The issue was that the battery was dusty because I drove on dirt roads the night before.They also use to charge batteries for you. Now, every battery I have taken in to charge within the last two years to this place has been determined to be bad and in need of replacement.1I have four vehicles. I have purchased all batteries for said vehicles from this place. All four batteries have gone bad within a two year period. None have been replaced even though all four fell well under the warranty guidelines.

For a relatively inexpensive place to replace tires or get an oil change, Walmart is not necessarily a bad deal. It is certainly convenient, and the prices are reasonable. They may not have your size tire, but they can get it cheaper than a lot of other places.

The Palmdale Walmart Auto Care Center really does a quick job on oil changes. Im sure if you are here during peak hours, your wait will take a hit. But I normally do shopping while the car is being taken care of. The guys at the auto counter have gone out of their way on the past two visits to make sure I was in and out as quickly as possible. Car looks clean after the job is done, especially with the quick vacuum they provide.

The best Tire & Lube service I received in my life hands down. I was in and out within about 30 minutes and the workers were super friendly and courteous best Ive ever seen. They did everything to specification and make no mistakes. Even took the time to converse with me and clean out a nest from my air filter. Hard to find a decent tire and lube.

Today I’m the first in the line 7:00am right now it’s 11:45am and I still waiting for 1 tire replace 2 people who’s work in the shop take break and I still need to wait. Already have 7 cars with other service cars begging of me.. this people told me what I need to wait 45 minutes more .. it’s incredible..

Tried twice, first time the cashier ignored me and then put up the closed sign after I’d waited 10 minutes. Second time a befuddled looking tech looks up in the “book” that they can’t service my vehicle. He was at least polite about it but... this seems arbitrary. I know for a fact they can change oil on a 72 Ford F-250 but not on a 2012 Fiat 500? Seriously?

Can’t see the door to the auto service center entrance because there are giant storage containers everywhere. I spoke to 2 people telling them I needed an oil change and each person passed me off to the next. After the second person told me to go talk to another woman, I looked at the woman and she looked at me then walked away. That’s when I decided to leave and go to jiffy lube. I’ve heard very bad things about getting oil changes at Walmart but I thought let me give them a chance. Lesson learned.

This is legit oil change center. They don’t try to Con you into buying stuff you don’t need like Jiffy Lube does. Best price for oil changes and tires.

Im impressed by this Walmart auto center. My car wasnt starting like it should so I knew it was time for a new battery. I came here around 8:15 am last Wednesday to get a new battery. I was told it would take about an hour and I was worried that Id be late for work (I start at 10). However they called me within 30 min and my SUV was done. I asked them to fill the tires with air which they did free of charge. Thank you Walmart for your excellent and speedy service!

Good tire service. Be prepared to wait an hour or so. Definitely recommend getting your tires rotated and balanced when you need to do some shopping.

Great service this is the best Walmart in the antelope valley went to the other Walmarts in Lancaster before coming here really bad service told me it would be a hour and a half before even asking me what I needed . I know its going to be a wait but at least offer good service first I waited ten minutes in my car before someone came over not to ask me want I needed I shop at theses stores not a problem but the service department needs training in customer service.

Its Walmart so you get Walmart quality. If you have the time Id recommend skipping it for dealer service. Prices are not much better.

I like to go to this particular Walmart because the guys in the back that do the oil change and the lady very kind courteous efficient treat you real nice and they usually have a sale going on the oil change but I stick to one particular brand thats available.

Made us go to 5 different stores because over the phone they said that they had tires in Stock and when we showed up they had 1 or 2 in stock. They have bad customer service. Dont but tires there anymore. They are lazy to do a visual check. They only check in system. Not hapy with customer service.

Never use this unless its an emergency. The mechanics are uneducated, they dont listen, they will rip you off with hidden charges. Be prepared to pay way more than they quote you. The manager there is very rude. Only use for a last resort

Awesome prices on oil changes we used Mobil1 synthetic 5 quarts plus fuel and oil additives all for less than $70 with rollback. Jiffy lube and the Hyundai dealership almost $100 for just an oil change with the same synthetic oil.

OMG, its Wal-Mart! Long lines and tellers that dont know what there doing. They also did not have the oil I needed so I had to purchase senthetic at twice the price. Disappointing, but thats Walmart!

Worst repair shop. I went for a battery, I called in advance to confirm they would install it, drove there on a dead battery, dropped my car off and went to work. 15 min later I get a call, they refuse to install the battery because there is a bracket they would have to remove to get access, and they cant remove 4 bolts. They told me they would install it if I came and used their tools to remove the bracket myself! And then, when I did walk back and borrow their tools to remove the bracket, they still refused to put the battery into my vehicle! And the mechanic told me they have that policy to protect me! If they arent capable of installing a battery they shouldnt sell batteries, and they should have told me when I called in the first place, so I wouldnt have driven there and then been stuck there with a car that wouldnt start without a good battery installed.

Went in to buy a replacement tire. Was told they didnt know how long it would take since they didnt know how many people were in line. An hour and a half later they finished. Checkout took another half hour because there was only one register working. When I got home I found they had taken the tire from my car, which I told them I was keeping as an extra. However, the staff was apologetic and returned it when I told them.

When it comes to tire service i recommended. Friendly personnel and professional, also good price on tires and good year quality.

I went for a oil change today for my 2010 Toyota Corolla, and apparently my dip stick is broken in half. This wal mart oil change is the only place I had taken the car the past 4 times, I never open the hood of my car. It runs perfect. Now they said it was already broken and cant fix the broken dip stick nor do my oil change. A $25 oil change now turned into who knows how much. i guess its my poor judgement for not going to a specialized oil change shop.

I came to have the oil changed in my RV, a once a year activity. I did not mark down a visit I had in Feb of this year. The employee who was taking my information, who could have just changed the oil anyway, informed me there was no reason to change the oil and saved me the cost. This speaks well of the employee and Walmart.

Absolutely hated it! Horrible, horrible, horrible experience. I brought my car to buy 2 new tires. The technician (Martin) dropped the tire on my hub cap and cracked it. Isabel and KC the managers on duty that day were very apologetic and professional in handling the situation. They said they will call the dealer for a replacement which Im ok with. As I started the engine of my car, I noticed the battery light stayed on. I went back to the two managers to complain about this but since they are not mechanics, they could not diagnose the problem. They referred me to an auto shop within town to have it checked. What I dont understand is, I just need 2 tires and yet they have to check my battery which messed up the electrical system. What made it worst is when I confronted Martin about the issue, he gave me an attitude by saying he did not touch the battery while walking away.I have been going back to this Walmart for oil change and never had a problem. Today was just a terrible experience and I will NEVER come back to this place. They lost a loyal customer.

Took my car here to get an oil change and new tires. Got home and noticed a dent on my car!!! Drove right back, my brand new tires had low air pressure in them and I had to fill them myself, I had to go back and ask them to remove my check lights since they forgot to, and the next oil service sticker said to come in at 11808, I already have 88900 miles on it??? These guys are a joke seriously please dont come Here
