So 20 years ago I purchased this 2002 Ford F350 Power Stroke Diesel. I promised my wife when I bought it that it would be the last pickup truck that I would buy. I meant it then, and still mean it today. Its been my baby ever since. But twenty years in the sun was making Big Blue look a little faded and tired.Enter Mike, owner of Mikess Auto Collision on 2433 Jenks Ave, Panama City, FL.A little back story....A little over 2 1/2 years ago in October 2018, I went to Mike and asked if he could repair a really bad part of the paint. We agreed on a price and he took Big Blue for work. Three weeks later a CAT 5 hurricane ravaged Panama City. Its name was Michael. It took me a week to get my road cleared so I could go see if anything was left of my Truck. When I got to Mikes Collision he took me inside the shop to show me even though they were still trying to clear out the mess. To my utter astonishment, Mike had put my truck inside one of his two paint booths before the storm hit! Wow!It took about a month to get my truck back. I didnt care a bit. Mike saved my truck. Had it been at my house it would have had two massive oak trees on top of it. It would have been hauled off as scrap.So fast forward 2 1/2 years. Its time to get the entire truck painted. There was never a question in my mind on who was going to paint Big Blue!Take a look, shes beautiful! My car got hit back in June by someone running a stop sign. I struggled getting her insurance to call me back and decided to go ahead and get an estimate. I had seen how highly rated Mikes was and decided to swing by and see what he said.Not only was he able to give me an estimate in less than 10 minutes, he also gave me advice to get the insurance company on the phone. Within 48 hours I was able to get someone on the phone and officially start the process for the claim.After getting my car to Mikes, they were so willing to answer any questions I had throughout the process and kept me updated. I think one of my favorite things is that he would sometimes get on the phone himself to update me. I always appreciate someone who takes the time to speak to their customers.After getting my car back, I am even happier! The areas that had to be fixed look brand new! The paint match was well done! Walked into Mikes Auto to pick up a friends car, explained to Mike what was going on with my personal vehicle and he got me in the following week after being told numerous times by different auto repair shops that they are booked out for months. While traveling through New Mexico an 8 ft piece of sheet metal had ripped off the top of a gas station and slammed into my car. Mike did such a wonderful job repairing my car after being rear ended. There was a lot of damage which included welding, painting and replacing many parts. While it took much longer than expected my car looked brand new. The only bad part was the insurance company of the guy who hit me that we had to deal with ( I should name them, but everyone who has ever dealt with them probably know who I am talking about ). They stopped paying on the rental car but Mike was great and covered everything they didnt. He didnt have to do that but wanted to do a good job for me even if it took longer. If he hadnt done that I would have had to pay out of pocket for a rental which would have been very costly. Thank you Mike and everyone who worked on my car!!

My experience at Mikes auto collision, was painless, stess-free, and simple. He was fair, reasonable, and a man of his word.After much research and reading reviews thoroughly, I went there not knowing Mike, or any of his staff. Mike was extremely professional, patient, and listened. He looked at the car, he sat down at his desk he looked up parts. I sat and waited as he figured out what needed to be done and gave me a print out of everything that was necessary.Through the entire experience, he kept everything brief and to the point. He was never condescending he never suggested that he would have to do more work once he got into it, he did not try to sell me anything I did not need.He did not keep me there longer than necessary. They have had our Truck for 2 months now with no communication or updates . Was told to goThrough our insurance for updates 😡 Insurance said that isn’t so but truck should be ready and My Husband goes to check on it and it is parked in same spot and hasn’t been touch AT ALL! Said he can’t find tires for it … Really they are for sale all day long if you just check .. We run a business and need our truck .. I would give them no star if I could . Please have better communication for your customers and things would be better . I think we been patient for too long now ..

So, my car got hit. I had no clue as to where to go, but a friend told me Mikes Auto Collision would do a good job. When I told the insurance adjuster I wanted to go to Mikes, he said ... good choice. When my car was ready for pick up, it had been cleaned inside and out, and the repair job was exemplary! HIGHLY recommend Mikes with 10 stars, but only 5 is available.

Mike is a really great guy. We both went through hell dealing with the insurance company for over a span of 8 months and through all of that he helped me out of the bind of being down a vehicle. The insurance company messed up countless times through this process and he had my back through the entire thing. And not to mention great body work on my car after hitting a deer it looks brand new! 5 stars for sure. I wouldn’t take my vehicle anywhere else.

My parked car was hit by a driver and damaged in three separate spots. Not being from the area - I was visiting relatives over the holidays - I was worried about getting my car fixed before I had to leave town. Mikes was timely and did great work. The car looks as good as new! They also dealt directly with the insurance company, who paid them directly. I dont have before and after pictures, but trust me when I say the job was good, it was done quickly, and I appreciated not having to work with the insurance company myself. The backup camera in my car was no longer giving a clear picture. The dealership wanted over $800 to install a new one. I bought a used replacement camera for $243 and Mike installed it in 5 minutes in gratis. I know if I should need an auto repair service, without a doubt, it will be Mike’s Auto Collision. This is definitely the place to bring your vehicle if it needs any body work or paint done. You may have to wait a little bit to get your car back, but if you want it to look brand new again, then the wait is definitely worth it. If my car needs any more work done, I will definitely call mike.

Mikes auto collision is the best experience with a body shop I have ever had. They take such pride in their work that it shows with everything they do. After my accident I was devastated that my pride and joy would never be the same. Mikes took such good care of my car that it looks like it never happened. I plan on taking my truck to them just to get some scratches out. It may take a little time but perfection takes time. This shop does not just slap some paint on and call it good. One rim was badly scratched. When they polished that rim up it looked better than all the rest. So what did they do? They polished all the other rims just to make it look better. No cost just taking pride in their work. I will definitely go here again.

Automation uses them for body work. Bought my car, husband noticed windshield had crack and also paint peeling near windshield Ford problem, so they covered it. Took several days came back to pickup and paint was scratched where windshield was installed. Mike said he would take care of cameback paint wasnt right. He apologized said he would take care of it again, took back fixed paint then mirror shook when driving. Took back again, fixed the shaking but the cover now keeps falling down. We live over an hour away so each time it was 4 hours wasted going there leaving it going back and picking up. Never will use them again.

Would ignore my calls for weeks and not give updates to me or my insurance. They did not complete all the repairs listed on the quote and I had to take my vehicle back multiple times to have everything completed properly.Now, I am seeing they used very cheap parts on the repairs on my vehicle. Multiple seals replaced by them have cracked or broken and have had to be replaced since they worked on my vehicle. Never got the cover for my roof rack either that they claimed to have ordered.They did not diagnose or fix the transmission issues my vehicle experienced after being damaged either. I ended up having to go to a different shop to have the transmission inspected.I do not recommend this shop to anyone.

I was fortunate enough that my vehicle was not a complete loss from Hurricane Michael and so I was able to wait until Mikes Auto Collision could take it in. Im thankful I waited. Mike kept me informed and all the repairs were completed at only a small amount above the insurance companys estimate. Mike and his staff went through the same storm as all of us and were just thankful hes still here and for what hes done to help the community.

My car wasn’t ready on the estimated day so Mike put me in a rental at his expensive for the extra day. The front desk staff is very friendly and professional as well, great experience!
