This place is a complete rip off. Just one example they want to charge you $80 to clean the engine before they charge you an hourly rate to give you another estimate. The mark up on the parts here are ridiculous. They are busy so Im sure this review wont matter but in my opinion avoid this place

2 Hours at $154/hr for 15 minutes of actual diag is excessive. The techs are good still. Front office argued about a diag charge for 30 minutes before refunding half of it. I will seriously consider if I send any more referrals their way. Uninformed buyer beware... Picture is of the procedure that supposedly took 2 hours to complete.

Lance was great! Took great care of our car - was honest with us that the problem was only a loose screw and fixed it at no charge.Took our Audi in for a check engine light. Lance went above and beyond for us - coordinating the transportation of the car to a partner shop. Will definitely be taking all our cars there in the future.Great customer service. I have a Lexus RX300 its a 2002. My transmission went and I had gotten it over to mr. Transmission. The gentleman I spoke with from Mr Transmissions name was Mike. He was very kind help me get the car in there they checked it out. Although they werent going to fix it they did let my car sit there for a week until the company came to pick it up. I forgot to leave a review when my vehicle was serviced here, but they did an incredible job. I forgot to take an invoice after the service for my records, so I called back months later and they were able to email me one in minutes. They are always friendly and professional, and really know their work. I will gladly return for any future repairs.

These guys are great. I recently had, what we thought was a transmission issue. However, after they dug into it, they found it was an electrical problem. They kept me in the loop for each troubleshooting step they were taking. This is something I really like. They narrowed it down to my computer. Other companies could have just went for the transmission, costing me a fortune, but they did the leg work and it paid off. Their prices are reasonable, and the staff is great to work with.

My car was towed to Mr. Transmission after transmission failure in the mountains. Jeff provided me with information about diagnostics on my car, and repairs that were needed. My car was under warranty, so he contacted and did all the foot work with the warranty company to cover repairs. Over the course of about a week and a half, he kept me up to date and followed up on the time line of when my car would be finished. He ran into a little bit of trouble with unexpected electrical problems on my car and was quickly able to repair it.After my car was fixed, he was able to take payment over the phone for my deductible.When I picked up my car, he had receipts on the seat for my convenience.I never once second guessed what work was being done. Jeff was knowledgeable and efficient in his repairs. They were quick to get my car repaired as quickly as possible. The other techs were friendly and passed messages to each other as I called in to ask questions and check up.Picked up the car yesterday. So far, so good. It feels good, no noises or weird feelings in how the car drives.I am very pleased with the service I received.

I head some concerns about my transmission and went here to check. They analyzed it and explained me what is happening and that there is no need to do anything. They were correct and did not took advantage to charge me unnecessarily fixes. And they did the analysis absolutely free.

Jeff and Lance were a complete pleasure to work with. I continued to experience a string of issues after having my car at another local auto shop that insisted they made all the proper repairs, so I brought it to them to receive a second opinion. Not only were they able to provide me some valuable input, but they also did it for free! Very nice guys, and it appears they have plenty of integrity based off them not trying to get a cent out of me, even though I know nothing about cars. Ill certainly bring my car or refer them to anyone who may need any general automotive or transmission services.

I came here for a second opinion on my bad tramsmission diagnosed by the go ford dealer. Ford quoted me $7000.00 for a transmission replacement. I spoke with Jeff at Mr. Transmission and they did a free diagnostics. Jeff was awesome and easy going and made me feel comfortable. After a simple trans flush and fill, the car drives like it did when I bought it. Beyond disappointed this is not a transmission repair shop the transmission Swap Shop they wont repair your transmission all theyll do is take it out put a different one in brought a card of them not only did they not repair the issue they wanted $2,500 to swap the transmission out which actor going to AAMCO Transmission we found out that it was a $400 repair all it was was a Servo that was bad of course because it took me a little bit of time to find a different shop to get to in the process of my vehicle sitting in their lot for a couple days they had it towed which cost me almost as much has the repair itself if you have any Common Sense State far far away from this company nothing more than crooks that will overcharge you for something you dont need

I found my way to Mr Transmission after a glowing referral and I’m happy that that my experience lived up to the billing. It wasn’t the ideal scenario-I had a major repair that was no fun. But the team was responsive, did a great job explaining what my options were, and then took care of the repairs quickly. No surprises on the repairs, or pressure for up sell or on price. I was in good hands, no hesitation to recommend this shop.

Mr. Transmission has worked on two of my vehicles and the repair was timely and a fair price. They communicated clearly what the repair would be, how long it would take, and the price. All turned out to be accurate. We even had an issue with one of the repairs shortly after the work was done, and they not only took the car in the next day, but did not charge me for what might have been an additional repair cost. What I liked: They got my old 93 4Runners transmission back to shifting properly and did it for a very good price. Clint is very easy to talk to and willing to explain easily the work that was done.What I dont like: Their communication over the phone is not so great and wasnt even notified when my car was done and wasnt updated on progress of the repairs. I had to call them every time.After I got my vehicle back I went underneath just to take a look at everything and noticed some mounting bolts in the transmission were missing from an area that clearly needed to be a sealed connection. I was told I got a full service to the transmission and seeing this didnt make me very happy. Clint offered to fix the problem for free the next day so I dropped it off again for the whole day and again I got no calls on updates or questions for me. Got it back and the bolts are still missing... Nothing was done to it. Maybe I wasnt clear enough in my description of what was needed but they still chose not to call me to figure out it the issue. Maybe third time will be a charm.

I was very pleased with my whole experience with Mr. Transmission. They were respectful and very knowledable. I was looking for a second opinion on what was wrong with my Ford Escape and they not only found the problem but they fixed it in a timely manner and without breaking the bank! I brought my truck in with transmission issues and they did a free assessment of what was going on. They called the next day with their recommendations, which I went with and the quote didn’t change when they were done. I also needed brakes done and they were going to send it to the shop next door, but when they found out the other shop they are partnered with was under manned, they stepped up and took on the task themselves to get it done in a timely manner which I greatly appreciated. The service was excellent, kept me informed what was going on all along the process from diagnosis, price quote, what issues were noted and being repaired. The turn around from drop off to pick up was great. I had taken this truck to them a few years ago to get their input.... They said I should get a couple years out of it and told me how it would act when its time to bring it in. They were pretty much spot on (actually got 3 years out of it).

Before using Mr. transmission I hade bad experiences at other shops....the first shop that looked at my 2008 Chevy Tahoe said there was no problems found. The second shop told me the transmission needed a full rebuild. I went to see the assistant manager Jeff at Mr. transmission and was very pleased with his professionalism. He found that my transfer case had a internal problem by pulling the drain plug and finding metal shavings. This job cost about $1,500.00 and the other shop told me $3,500.00 for a new transmission that would have never fixed my problem. Thank you Jeff and the team for the great same day fix!

I feel like Im getting jerked around with the time frame they have given me. I want the vehicle to be fixed and I understand that it takes time, but they keep telling me that it will be done tomorrow, and then come to find out after I have made arrangements to pick up the vehicle that it actually isnt done. Theyve done this twice now. Not very professional on their communication with customers.

I had my tranmission repaired at the Mr. Transmission on a road trip in Houston TX on my old 7.3 Ford dually. After pulling it out of the shop, I quickly noticed it would stall when putting it in reverse.I had to drive home, and was reminded of the 2 year nationwide warranty.I contacted Mr. T here in Parker and spoke with Clint who was awesome. He dealt with the Houston shop and handled my situation like a pro.I will be going back for sure.

I would not recommend this garage. My garage sent my truck over here because they are a specialty shop. Now a few months later the front transfer case that was replaced is growling. I called and the guy on the phone said to bring it down and they would throw it on the rack. I drove from Reunion to Parker only to be told that wasnt possible and I would have to leave it. That wasnt going to work so I drove back to reunion. Wasted trip. Frustrating thing is I have to rent a vehicle so I can leave mine there while they fix what should have been fixed the first time around.

Brought my 1995 GMC 4x4 to repair the 4L60E transmission knowing I would be driving it back from the east coast with a trailer soon afterward. The truck pulled the trailer back without a problem after 4,000 miles of total driving. I called a lot of shops before choosing which shop to trust and provide quality repairs at a fair price. I normally dont write reviews, but I thought it was only fair to reciprocate the time and attention they gave me.

I took in my classic 1978 Corvette into Mr. Transmission because the transmission was slipping. Clint and his team did an outstanding job! Transmission repairs can be both costly and challenging, but this was not the case here. They have earned a customer for life. Enough so that I soon plan to use their shop next door as well.Keep up the great work!Robert

These guys are amazing. I brought my Explorer in because of a strange rattling noise that I thought was my transmission. The customer service was great from the start, but I was simply stunned when I came back to pick up my car... The noise I hearing was just a loose piece in the rear gate, which they had already fixed before sending on my way... with no charge! You just dont see that kind of thing anymore.

Everyone was nice and helpful. Had to go back a couple of times, but the service was winderdul. They made sure everything was working well.

Took my car to them because I could get into gear. They did fix the problem but when I picked my car up the speedometer didnt work. From there the person who worked on said my car was junk and the owner wouldnt pay anything for the damage. I have went to the better business Bureau which was a waste of time, as long as they know about the problem they do nothing with their rating. At the end of of this I had to buy a new computer and they did more damage than they fixed. DONT TAKE YOU CAR TO THEM THIS COULD HAPPEN TO YOU.

I can’t day how EXSTATIC I am with the service I received from Lance & Jeff. I have a Nissan Rogue with a CVT transmission....it’s all over the Internet how bad this transmission is. I had this vehicle in 2 shops & 1 dealership trying to get to the bottom of the problem with my car. I even specifically asked the dealership to check the transmission as I was sure it was the issue after some research. They dismissed me and said the CVT wouldn’t make your car act like that. Well, one conversation with Lance and he immediately said it’s probably the transmission. AND, unlike the dealerships, they will do the diagnostic for free. They were knowledgeable in dealing with the warranty company and always kept me in the loop and informed. Once the repair was approved they got the car finished very quickly. I will recommend them to everyone I know. Mr. Transmission and Pride automotive have a customer for life.

This place is trash. Not sure if anyone has ever even built a transmission. Went in to have tranny fixed 2 months ago, problem returned recently, took truck back, waited a week, found they did nothing, as in truck just sat there. Worthless, no good workers anymore. DO NOT RECOMMEND UNLESS YOURE AN IDIOT WHO LIKES MORE PROBLEMS AND SPENDING MONEY.JUST GO TO A DIFFERENT TRANSMISSION SHOP!!!

After a horrible 2.5 month experience with a chop shop transmission shop I was forced ro install a 2nd transmisison into my Jeep Wrangler. Clint and company were more than eager to help out with my situation and get my vehicle back to me quicker than I could pay. Knowing that we just spent thousands of dollars on the first failed repair at a different shop, and that money was tight, they did not charge me when I had to leave my Jeep in the lot for a few extra days. Two years ago, the guys at Mr. Transmission rebuilt our transmission (rather than replacing it with a refurbished one that would likely have the same problems as the broken one). This summer, we had some problems with it. Even though it was technically out of warranty, they took the whole thing apart and fixed the problem for us as a warranty repair. We were so grateful!!

Truck was completed when promised and price was as quoted. Truck shifted like new.

Took my vehicle in for Transmission service... Advised Clint, need :Transmission Oil change, Oil Pan gas kit replaced, Transmission oil filter changed, along Front and Rear Diff oil change with Transfer-case... Latter, found out ONLY Transmission oil was service along Front/Rear Difff... No Transfer-case oil was changed, no Transmission oil pan gas kit was replaced, and no Transmission Oil filter was changed.Cheater, worse business place no ethic at all... Will not recommend for any sort of business at all.

I would give 6 stars if I could! We had a bit of a rocky start last year but these guys have more than made up for it! They installed a used transmission last year based on the requirements of my warrantee company when Mr. Transmissions recommendation was to rebuild it. 14 months and a job loss later, and two months past the warrantee companys 12 month warrantee, the transmission began to fail again. Clint at Mr. Transmission, knowing I was out of work, worked with the warrantee company to pony up their portion of the cost to rebuild it (as was recommended by Mr. Transmission in the first place), they gave me a great deal on the rebuilt unit, AND they worked with Rausch Motors to collect the portion they donated to help me out while I was unemployed. I highly recommend these guys.

A noise was coming from the front of my 2003 VW Beetle and I took it to a VW shop for repair. It appeared to be transmission related so the owner called on Clint at Mr. Transmission to help determine the problem. It was the transmission and I was somewhat concerned to take it to a transmission shop rather than a VW dealer, but I knew that the dealer would charge much more for any necessay repairs. The repair was two months ago and everything is fine. The car was returned when promised. I was pleasantly surprised with the knowledge that Clint had with VW transmissions. I am completely satisfied with my experience.
