Very helpful during the buying process. Although, I had an issue with a console I bought used, over $400 after tax, overheating. And the manager who I spoke with said they would “definitely” not help with the $20-$30 fix and made sure to remind me store credit only on returns(which I think is fair if you are selling something that has been checked over). There was dust caked on side vent and under easy to remove cover. It doesn’t seem like they are concerned with the quality of the used equipment they sell.I assumed paying a reputable retailer the same price I would have paid GameStop for a refurbed unit(basic cleaning is a part of that), that I would have received a similar product. Instead lower quality with a less advantageous return policy.I would recommend a competitor for anyone looking as I don’t think these guys care. I hope that’s not the case as I love to support local business which is why I shopped here.
Having a brick and mortar for retro gaming is incredible! I really like I get to see the products before I purchase, I have had bad experiences with bait and switch ebay sales. No guessing here!
This place is awesome, its where I got most of my game systems and my games. My N64, GameCube, and Retron are all working perfectly even after years of being played. The workers are really nice and actually know what they are talking about, unlike other places. This place is much better than GameStop and I would highly recommend to anyone who is interested in retro gaming.
Small but Incredibly well stocked alternative to the bigger corporate stores like GameStop
