I have no idea why this place has good reviews, worst experience ever. I brought my own frames and they charged 40 dollars to put them in. 59 dollars for 2 pair lmfao.
I wish I can add no stars to be honest. This establishment is a joke. Please do not waste your hard earned money on this pitiful place. For one, I went in for an eye exam + contacts. I honestly think that this is a joke. Since the eye exam and the prescription they’ve provided me, I feel as though I can not see! Everything is still continuously blurry. I tried a different brand of contacts thinking that could have been the problem, and I am still experiencing the same thing. I do not believe that these people know what they are doing!! For your own good please do not go here. Absolutely horrible.
I just picked up my glasses here and I am very pleased with this office. Everyone at this location is friendly and encouraging.Very special shout out to Kelly, who helps you pick out glasses. She is engaging and friendly. She is very talented when it comes to picking out the right frame.She can assess your face and consider your desired look and pick something that you will fall in love with, almost immediately with her first choice. She should be applauded. She is a valuable part of this team.

I was never told this was going to be a Televisit, you should be told prior to see if you wanted a Televisit or a actual face to face physical exam. I dont feel that this Televisit was the most accurate. I didnt even get my eyes dilated in which I said i was seeing floaters. For years I went to Foreyes and they were on point. I went ahead and ordered glasses but again I feel very uncomfortable that the prescription was not accuate and I paid 120.00. The staff was nice & friendly but regardless you should let a customer know that your not getting a actual person to person exam. Again I was not impressed and feel my prescription is NOT accurate. I am very dissapointed.
The process was super fast and AWESOME customer service. My glasses were ready in less then a week. You won’t regret coming here 😍😍
Worst place I have ever been to. First of all my glass are horrible and I cant use them. I had to return them 2 times and they still cant get it right. They made it sound like it was my fault. I should have listened to my friends that told me not to go there. All three of my friends had a bad experience. Beware!!!!
Have you ever seen a place that first does your exam and then check if they take your insurance? Well, that’s what happened here. Wasted more than an hour waiting and doing the exam, for them to tell me I had to pay out of pocket because they no longer accepted my insurance. Why didn’t they check before? Don’t waste your time coming here
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I will NEVER go to another Eyelab again. I dropped off my frames to get lenses replaced. And was told I could pick them up in 2 weeks. 3 weeks later when I never received a call to pick them up I went to the store and my glasses where there but they were broken so they had to send them back for another 2 weeks. 3 weeks later again I got the call to pick them up but when I went there to get them they could not find them. It took 3 months for me to get my glasses. So long they had to give me a free pair which I got before they ever found my glasses. When I got my actual frames back they were so bent out of shape I can not wear them which doesnt even matter because the prescription is wrong anyway. NEVER AGAIN. I swear.
Nice and clean office. Roberto was so nice everybody and it was nice definitely will get future glasses from this I lab. And the prices were remarkable very affordable. I would recommend if you need glasses come to My Eyelab.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! they have no optometry doctor on site. they do not even dilate your eyes! someone on a computer screen does the exam and some doctor else where signs off on the Rx. DO NOT GO HERE! also their prices are super high and have very limited frames for their “2 pair” promo. SAVE YOUR MONEY! go to a REAL optometrist!

This is a company I would never use a again! I was told my glasses were going to be done by May 11th then told they were delayed till May 12th. I go to pick them up and now Im being told the 19th!?

It was the first time coming to this Eye Lab in Pembroke Pines, and let me tell you, the service was great. Everything was clean and I did not have to wait very long. Roberto helped me as well and great custom,er service. Would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends.

Promised my son glasses in 2 weeks .They put someone else prescription in them gave me a lame excuse. The store manger promised to call and see how he could resolve it. He did not call. Not sure why all the negative reviews for this place. I came in June 16 for an eye exam because I could tell my vision went bad in one eye. I came in for my appointment at 10:30 and someone right away ask if I needed help and pointed me in the right direction. I signed in and sat down for about 20 minutes knowing other people was ahead of me. Once it was my turn they check my eyes with some fancy machinery then I went in the room and honestly I had no idea the doctor was virtual. But either way she came up on the screen and introduced herself and the exam was started. She ask what I could see and what I couldn’t see I told her what I could see and what I couldn’t see. Once that was done she gave me a proscription and witch definitely showed I had issues with one eye. I then picked out my frames paid and was told 7-14 days I just got my new lenses today 8 days later and they are perfect so far I see way better! Only bad is the price but hey that’s what I get for not having vision insurance right.

No return calls or emails back to me after i have tried contacting this office and corporate several times.1st and DEFINITELY the last time using this place. I have received NOTHING but the run around for 2 month for 1 pair of glasses that just needed to be fixed. I understand things are not the same right now but every time we have called to get answers we get a different story. We have been waiting for a call back from a manager/supervisor and they never call back. Wanted to try this place since we usually go to Americas Best but now with this service I know we will be staying with them.
Zero stars if I was able to do it. It’s been 3 weeks since they took my money and frames . Called customer service and they told me that the store haven’t even sent the frames to the lab and it would take another 1 to 2 weeks for my glasses to be ready!Totally unacceptable! Please stay away from this store.

My experience today at My Eye Lab, Pembroke Pines was great! I had recently broken my glasses and they were able to give me a new exam and nice glasses with no problems. Everyone here was super nice and patient with me and the frame choice process. Joshua was my advisor today and he is very kind and super suggestive towards what was best. Shawna was also super nice and did the eye exam with effiency! Thank you all!
If you want to save money this isnt the place to purchase glasses nor contacts. they claim to have good quality that is false. the glasses can break with 1 month of having them vey flimsy. contacts are made for 1 month only doesnt even last 3 weeks MORAL IS DONT SHOP HERE FOR YOUR EYES
I have vsp insurance. I had my eyes tested here a few days ago and asked if I could come back another day to pick out my frames and shop around. The guy working with me told me no I could not and that the claim for the insurance has to be done at the same time. So I picked one frame and paid half up front. Well It didn’t sit right with me that the fact I had insurance meant I had to pick the frames the same day. So I called my insurance and they told me I did not have to pick my frames and lenses same day so I will be going back to figure this out! I’ve been purchasing glasses with them for years! Never had an issue and the prices have increased immensely.
The sale manager Alex did a great job to help me replace my damage frame in little time. He went above and beyond to make sure I was 100% satisfied with the product. I was back to work in 2min. This is opposite experience from North Miami location. Good employees make a difference in the same company but different locations.
I was sold the vision club, six years worth and not intentionally, they are only honoring 4 years and have add that I must buy contacts with them to get the exam. If you dont know what the vision club is, it is where you get free exams by paying a little extra up front. I am not giving these guys any more of my business. By the way the reason I unintentional bought it was I told the lady I was buying a years worth of contacts but she only gave me half a years worth and adding in these, so the priced looked right at first. I then was reviewing my receipt after leaving and then went back asking about it and then she ended up ordering the additional contacts, I decide to keep it because it seemed like a good deal if I used it but apperently that dont care,l. They refused to refund it or honor the 6 years I received.
DO NOT GO HERE!!! I place an order JULY 14th. At first they told me “ two weeks”, then they told me it was going to be ready AUGUST 10th. And now they told me AUGUST 27th!! I been calling customer service for two days, been on hold for more than 3hours and no one has gotten back to me!!! HORRIBLE PLACE.
Great staff! Very attentive and helpful. I was having a hard time finding a pair of glasses and the young lady took the time to help me out and sure enough I was able to find a pair i loved!! She was super sweet and helpful. The manager was also very helpful and professional. Thank you all at eye lab now i cant wait to wear my glasses!👓
I went last Friday and My experience at the Pines location was Amazing!!!!, not only was my exam Free but the Customer service was Great! A Man name Brian really went over and above for me while helping two other customers as well. He was calm and relaxed / humbled. He gave me a feeling of assurance that I would be Getting my Glasses and sure enough I walked out with a Smile! I’m so Grateful, My eyesight has gotten worst so now that I know for sure I’ll be getting my Glasses I’m no longer worried Thanks to God and Brian !
DO NOT GET YOUR GLASSES FROM HERE! I order mine July 14th and I still haven’t gotten them. At first they told “ it will be ready in two weeks” then “ it’s going to be ready August 10. I just called the store and they change it to AUGUST 26!!!! WHEN I CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE TO WAIT FOR 2H OR THE CALL DROPS. HORRIBLE STORE! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Still waiting for a reply from their supervisor.
This Bad review is for playing slick. I called and asked if they took my insurance and he said i had to go in person with my an ID and speak to the insurance specialist to tell me becuase those are the new rules of the CDC. I asked again if I can speak to the insurance specialist not to waist my time. He said no. I went and walked in he asked for my license and insurance card and to put all my info in an ipad and proceeds to tell me the cost of the exam. I stopped him got all my stuff back and left. This is a tactic to get people in the door which to me it makes no sense. If my insurance covers 100% why in the world would I pay you any out of pocket. I see why there are so many bad reviews. They are not honest up front what can you expect later on.
Stay away from Eyelab, spent almost $300 and performs is worst than America got glass deals for $79 for 2 glasses. I would NOT ever recommend Eyelab to anyone.

Surprised after reading all the reviews as it was the complete opposite of my experience. Came in for a contact exam and was immediately greeted. Ckd in by Amber, who explained the process, then started the process shortly after. Very friendly and professional. Dr. was great as well. Extremely honest and recommended items that were in my best interest and not theirs unlike other eye doctors Ive been to. Its been a while since Ive used contacts but Im not happy with the ones I received yesterday. Called today and they will give me another pair to try out. Paola was awesome as well assisting me picking my glasses! Not a pushy with upgrades and quite honest. Found me a great deal on glasses! Also patient!Overall great experience!

The first time I went, I had a pleasant experience w/ Kelly that assisted me. My second time back, it was not a good experience at all.First of all, they were no longer in network with my insurance effective February of 2020 and nobody, at any point and time told me this. I was there in October, it had not even been a year and I was given a full eye exam all over again. When all I really needed was contacts because I explained that I damaged mine. At checkout the gentleman that was helping me- did not help me at all nor did he give me any other options, as I was explained after I called my insurance company.I gave him my card and told him I had insurance and he did not even look at my card and just proceeded to charge me and tell me I was getting a 20 percent discount. But never told me, at any point that they are not in network anymore with my insurance.Had I known they were no longer in network, I would of had the option to go elsewhere and also, as per the rep at my company- they could of simply given me the option to order new contacts as opposed to giving a full eye exam and fitting all over again.Very unprofessional and I am displeased and I would never go back again.
Employees walking around eating, reception is clueless. Bathroom dirty. Carpet all stained. Very unprofessional office. Took over an hour and no one even there! The doctor is virtual. Hopefully we get our glasses without any issues.. PS took almost a month to get glasses. Would NEVER go back!

Horrible vibe in this place. Possibly racist. Blonde woman who claimed to be the manager didn’t smile once, raised her voice at me was downright disrespectful. What happened to customer is always right? She said I wasn’t walking out with even a trial pair if I didn’t take an exam on the spot verbatim even if that’s the case you don’t talk to someone like that. Told her no one has ever given me trouble like that and if that was her saying that or the systemAnd she couldn’t answer. Come to find out I go to another location, make my order get TWO trial pairs and a goodie bag with contact solution and all. I dont like the way they handled mother and sister last year when they visited . Glasses were poor quality and they didnt explain anything about financing options. not my favorite place compared my frame from Walmart and it was quite the same ..yet i only paid $300 2 glasses and a vision test. they paid about $1200 Not bad but they could have done more with the quality.
They just waist my time. Wors customer service experience ever, I make my appoinment and I waist an hour, they do not go tru the sign list. They put people before me and just make me waisting my time. I do not recomended this place. I cancel my appoinment with the guy at front and they don’t even care why.
I was at the Pembroke Pines location in March to have my sons eyes checked. I scheduled an online appointment was greeted promptly and my child was seen immediately at the scheduled time. I was very impressed by the friendliness and efficiency of the optometrist side.

Best place to come and get your glasses done. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by multiple people. I was immediately offered a free eye exam, with the purchase of their biy one get one deal! I could not have asked for better service from their sales rep. Juan Carlos. He did everything he could to make sure I was satisfied with my frames and the price of the deal. Id highly recommend eyelab to anyone looking to get their glasses done at a good price with no hassle and a guarantee for a year! I couldnt believe what I had payed for 2 glasses with my favorite features. I will always be back.
At first there was a mistake in my eye glass order, but Paola the store manager assisted me with helping me finally get my glasses. She provided me with great customer service, was super friendly, and very nice. I finally received the purple glasses Ive been waiting for and two pairs of free glasses in the process because of waiting weeks for them. Have never dealt with such an incompetent staff before. Both David and Matthew need to learn customer service skills. Have called seven times today to get my prescription information but each time was given the run around. Was connected to numbers I could not even leave a message to. Then when I called again was told sorry almost 7pm and was sent to another number. Once again no one answering. Save your time and go elsewhere. Still have not gotten my prescription.

In my original visit, was never seen by an actual doctor. Person was controlling equipment remotely from another location. Waited 2 weeks for my glasses, which was fine, but prescription was too strong. Waited ANOTHER 2 weeks. I just got off the phone after calling myself to find out the glasses had already arrived last week and are ready for pickup, and never got notified of their arrival.
Service was great.. My husband was in a car accident this morning and his glasses are broken. We went in thinking we were going to spend at least $370 or even $400 but the manager was so understanding and worked something out and saved us some money.. Honestly, thank you EYE LAB OF PINES
My first disappointment was the virtual Doctor Visit. He wore a mask, I could not understand him and he seemed anoid. My mask was fogging up and I couldnt see the clear letters. I dont even know if I received the right prescription, because I never received my glasses. I waited the 10 days, called and a recording said my glasses were ready for pick-up. Went there and they couldnt find my glasses. Repeat 2 days later, went there and I was told my glasses arrived broken-no one called me, that it would be a few more days to receive my glasses. Well almost a month, with three more visits, promising me my glasses would be there. They couldnt find them. The people that were working there were very unorganized.. glasses everywhere, boxes with glasses everywhere. My glasses should have been in draw marked O. I left disgusted. And now I have to find another eye company. I read many reviews on other eye companies and they all seem to receive bad reviews.
My Eyelab service is so amazing. Went in to get an eye exam, and the lady at the front desk was so patient with me while I was looking at all the glasses. Got my glasses two weeks later and my glasses were so perfect. 💚💚💚💚

I used to be an Americas Best customer but I got tired of the lack of customer service. A friend of mine recommended my eye lab & I dont regret it. The employees are friendly knowledgable & seem eager to help. The manager on duty that day Andres was extremely attentive & a great coach for his employees. I my self have been a manager for over 3 years & nothing pleases me more than receiving award winning customer service when it is my turn to be the customer. You are all doing a wonderful job & do keep up the good work. I will be recommending you to all my friends. Cant wait to go back!

Staff was very nice and glasses seem nice... And cheap. But realized nobody there really knows what is going on. Nobody ever took my insurance or asked for it. Was never seen by a real doctor. As others called out, everything is done using Google Hangouts with people in a different location. And that seemed to be a whole ordeal. Had to do that twice since it didnt with the first time and had to wait a while before another rep was available to hop on the hangout. Finally was completed and they had to give me a contact that wasnt my Rx because they didnt have one in stock. Overall very disorganized and wont recommended it. Im probably going to go get a second opinion.

Absolute worst service. They give you an appointment without disclosing that a physical doctor will not see you but a virtual one. They examined her twice and the “virtual doctor” could not verify her prescription. They offered no solution after I complained the manager said I could sit and wait to see if the Doctor that is in could fit her in. I had already been there for 2 1/2 hours and they were going to make me wait more. NO apologies NO solutions for us. If I could leave no stars I would.
I ended up here by accident (thanks to google maps) and found Eyelab was cheaper than any other big eyeglass store. Ive been shopping prices and they came in under saving me $180. Michelle, was real sweet and helped me find frames that she thought looked best on me and explained everything for me. I couldnt be happier. Customer for life! Thanks Michelle :) You Rock!
The employees there were just so bad. Some of the worse customer service I have seen in a while. Me and my wife walk in maybe 30 minutes before they close. No one greets us when we walk in but I know they had seen us because when we would make eye contact with them a few times signaling them nonverbally to help us they would look away pretending they didnt see us. So then me and my wife are just walking around looking and trying on glasses on our own. After like 10 minutes were just like this staff is garbage so decided just to leave and still not one of them say a thing to us on our way out. Yeah I get it the day is almost over but you signed up for it. Some of them were helping people and others werent. Mostly young group of employees too. Never going back again. I was fuming when I left because of how bad we were ignored. Ended up going to another store instead which was further away.
I truly enjoyed my Experience at My Eye Lab. The staff and Doctor were very polite and helpful. They explained everything about what I should expect throughout my visit. The Price was the Best Part. The Glasses were of Great Quality and affordability. 3 year Eye exam for $99 was Perfect especially if you dont have Vision Insurance. I ❤ My Eye Lab...

This is the worst place to buy glasses for children. I purchase the buy one get one free promotion from this location with the free frame club and lens warranty. What they fail to explain to you that once your lens and frame are damage because of the bad quality of the items being sold, and you try to replace them under the free frame and lens warranty it’s NOT FREE. You have to pay 20% of the frame total cost as well as the lens even though they sale it to you as free frame replacement and lens as well. This place is a scam. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. Please stir away from this BIG SCAM.
Super good service and great prices! I loved this place! The frames were super pretty! I went in for a white pair of glassses, which are very hard to find. The girls helped so much that they made sure I got the white pair I wanted! Thanks to the managers who helped me with the affordable prices as well! Loved it!
Severely understaffed. Wait times were abnormal and they apologized. I didnt experience the complaints others depicted in their reviews, but it definitely wasnt my best optical experience. The remote doctor thing was different but fine. The only reason I wouldnt come back is because its out of network for me, which was my fault for not checking before making the appointment. I never expect to be treated like royalty at places like this so I wasnt terribly disappointed. If you come with average expectations youll get what you came for at at decent price.

Worst place please don’t come here!! They use teledoc which has a doctor do your exam through a television connected through WiFi and they made me take the exam twice! They then said I needed a doctor to see my eyes and scheduled me the next day for 5:45pm since Tuesday are the only days a doctor is there! They call me right when I pulled up to the parking lot to tell me the doctor couldn’t see me! Then they don’t apologized spoke to the manger and he didn’t take accountability! If you want a good place go to America’s Best I came the next day there and their exams are way better quality with a Actual doctor!
If I could have given you all a zero I would have. This is my second time putting a comment. I will never buy another pair of anything from this company. I have had the phone hung up on 3 times, my questions not answered. My glasses sent wrong and returned only to steal Not have them 8 weeks later. I was charged 456.00 and I still dont have my glass to date! Manger advised he would check ot out and call back and 1 pm no return call until 6:57, I answer and the the phone hangs up. I call back immediately only to be told that we are closed! I explain that I just recieved a call from there and before I finish the person on the other end hangs up the phone. What kind of service is this? It sucks that in order to write a review you much put at least 1 star, because you do NOT deserve that star at all.

1st and last time using My EyeLab. My husband has been waiting for his glasses for 3 weeks. Still havent received them even after paying over $400 for them. It doesnt matter what day or time you call you can NEVER get to speak to someone regarding this issue. Today I have called since they have opened and have been transfered 3x and have been on hold for over an hour. Had I known this we would have driven over there. Never had this problem at Americas Best. This is terrible. Even as I type this, nobody has still answered the phone. It is impossible that the store is always this busy.
Their offer wasnt quite clearly explained and things cost me quite a bit more than Id intended on spending, but the staff was understanding. The doctor was not only nice, but extremely patient. I forewarned him that I havent been correctable to 20/20 in years, but he got me the closest Ive ever been to 20/20 since my teens. Its nice to be able to see clearly at night, and see detail and street names without being on top of things again!

I wanted to get my eyes checked, I went in at 1:15pm I had to wait 20 min so that I can get acknowledged, and then waited again another 15 min to have them do the 1st process, then it was 2:21pm and I couldnt wait any longer, I left. Horrible service and worse part is they have glasses that are twice the price of Americas best. Thats buy 2 pairs for 69.95 and get the eye exam free? Those glasses will break in a couple of hours. Dont go to this place unless you are willing to spend $200!!!!
