Outstanding service. Ive been shopping at Barclays for years. As a difficult person to fit, Barclays tailors my clothes, both casual and formal, perfectly every time. However, Barclays has recently gone above and beyond the great every day service. I recently ordered some shirts to take with me on a European trip. Due to shipping delays from the factory, the shirts arrived the day I was leaving. Bert Harrison tracked me down and delivered the shirts to the airport so I could have them for my trip. Theres no need to shop anywhere else for high quality clothing, at reasonable prices, with the best service anywhere.

I came in needing a new shirt and jacket, I was measured and had a couple options selected for me with no wait. Within fifteen minutes I was walking out to my car with everything I needed plus a pretty sharp pair of socks. Their customer service is amazing and their prices are incredibly reasonable. I wont be going anywhere else.

I took my son here yesterday to purchase his first real suit. To say this was a great experience is an understatement! We worked with Noe and she was awesome! She made the entire process so easy from start to finish and we really enjoyed our first time to this 3rd generation, family owned and operated business. I had heard about this company through a few friends and I am so thankful we made the trek from Vandalia. It was so worth it and I can say this will be the only shop we will visit for future suits and or formal wear. Thank you again for the attention and care! This place saved my bacon. With some of the best service I’ve ever seen in clothing stores, these guys helped me find just the tux I needed for my high school prom. They also gave me a free T- shirt! I can’t say enough good things about this place!

I am amazed at how these guys took care of my young man! Darrell (Alex) and I walked into Barclays at 10am Friday morning with a big and desperate request. Prom is Saturday and he was just asked on Thursday to attend! They arent a warehouse, and usually need 2 to 5 weeks to get an ensemble, but not today!!! Im horrible with names, but pretty sure he was the owner and he works miracles! He couldve turned us away, but his customer service was spot on and he went to the back and found everything Alex requested! He then made alterations to the jacket and the pants, in less than 30 minutes!!! I am impressed and grateful for Barclays! Thank you! ❤Update: Bert, you and your staff have amazing customer service and really know how to make us feel like family! Thank you again!

When my husband needs a new suit, blazer, or better-quality casual wear - I go to Barclays. Their quality is beyond compare in the area. A good source for vibrant socks and ties. They also have womens purses, clothing, and accessories.

Barclays did amazing at our wedding party’s suits! The guys looked so great for the wedding and their suits fit perfect! They looked so sharp for pictures that day! Not to mention this family owned business was great to work with and very attentive to the needs of their clients! We will absolutely recommend!

I know very little about buying a suit and needed one the same day. They had me fitted and out the door in about 15 minutes. They hemmed my pants and steamed my shirt and I picked everything up an hour later. Suit, shirt and tie for $250 and the service was great. Thank you Im adding to this review because I just got a new job thats business casual. I went right to Barclays for a new wardrobe. OUTSTANDING service as usual. The lady who greeted me was a life saver. She helped me pick appropriate clothing for my new job. I cant find pants that fit in a department store so she took the time to make absolutely sure the pants fit perfect and they are even hemming them so the length is perfect. I also purchased 3 half zip pullover sweaters that look great. My confidence walking into my new job will be at an all-time high thanks to Barclays. Ill be going back in a few weeks to add to my new wardrobe!! Thank you Barclays and please share this with the extremely nice and helpful lady who fitted and styled me.

Absolutely WONDERFUL experience. Our two sons needed wedding attire, and Bert and his assistant were extremely knowledgeable, patient, courteous, and friendly. We appreciated the attention to measurements and having try on vests and jackets in appropriate sizing to get a great feel about what the ordered rental suits would look like. The prices were much better than Mens Wearhouse (for rental, as well as shirt/suit purchase). We also enjoy that it is a family run business. We will definitely be back!

Barclays is the epitome of a small town clothier! Old wooden creaking floors, quality clothing and accessories, and super helpful staff! Takes you back in time just a little bit. They always remember me and help me find just what I want for the special occasions in my life, as well as my staple of black pants for work.

Barclays is an outstanding clothing store. They have a great suit, and sport coat selection, and the items are of high quality. The staff is knowledgeable, and very helpful. Barclays puts in mind the time of wonderful shops back in the day. But dont be fooled, the clothing is up to date...just check out the sock collection!

My son decided very late to attend his Prom, which is TOMORROW. Being my first tux rental experience, I assumed we could walk in and pick what we wanted. Well, we all know what assuming does. 😊 The proper way is to pay Barclays a visit well in advance of your event, bc they order exactly what you want from their warehouse to be shipped to their store. Nevertheless, the owner himself, (Bert Harrison?), spent an hour with us piecing together an entire look for my son. We even lucked out and got the exact color bow tie he wanted, which was a miracle, being as we were there so last minute. Reasonable total cost of $160, which included pants, shirt, vest, jacket, bowtie, and cuff links. The other employees were very personable and friendly as well. Highly impressed with our experience there, and will definitely use Barclays for our future formal wear needs. Thank you!

An amazing place to get suits for weddings! Everyone was helpful and friendly and the prices were less than 1/2 what they were at mens wearhouse.Pick up day for suits is the day before the wedding, which is a little inconvenient but worked out fine with my schedule.

Went in to Barclays admittedly a bit early (7 months before the wedding) to get some ideas for tuxedo color and styles. We were quickly rushed out of the store and told we were way too early and that we couldnt look at the styles because they would be changing. We left and mistakenly returned 6 weeks before the wedding. We were greeted rudely and were given very little guidance and help trying to figure out the different tuxedo styles and fit. Once the individual became helpful in navigating what exactly we were picking out, we opted to leave and see what our other options were. The lack of attention regarding our need to find the perfect style for our day was not a priority for the staff, the way we were talked to was not professional and we felt out of place being there. We drove much further away to get excellent customer service from a much friendlier and more helpful retailer. I will have no reason to ever step foot back into Barclays.

Went in to buy a few shirts for work and to ask about getting an alteration to a suit jacket that I bought elsewhere. I had never been in there but knew they were local so I stopped in to check it out and shop locally. Before I could even finish my shopping I was rudely told he wouldn’t touch my altercations and proceeded to mumble something to an associate of his. When I said “what?” He says “oh nothing you should’ve bought from me you wouldn’t have this problem”. Wow what a way to treat a customer, like I should’ve known that and I was in the wrong for asking.If the salesman dropped his short guy complex and treated me like a decent human being I would’ve still got my few shirts. Instead he just lost any future business from me. He might as well of walked me to the door and locked it behind me. It’s no wonder brick and mortar is dying so swiftly.

Great store for those wanting well made clothing

Just dropped off a tux we paid $170 for, which my husband looked dapper in, now taking it back, I have been rushing around all day with my 3 children, so I took the tux in without hanging it on a hanger, the man at the counter was extremely rude and grabbed the tux and shoes and was throwing them around on the counter with an attitude and dirty look on his face. Asked him if I should have hung it back up and if that was why he was upset and he stared at me and said no Im fine. Well, very very rude and uncomfortable situation and for the money we paid to rent it youd think it wouldnt be such a big deal that I didnt hang it back on a hanger. Anyway, its not that I wouldnt recommend Barclays, other than I would recommend an attitude adjustment for the front counter man.

I am flabbergasted at the way we were treated this evening by a man who has been part of this store for 30 years apparently. We came in searching for a tux rental for our wedding. Once this man learned that we were there to rent he laughed at us. Instead of politely directing us to the rental part of the store. Thankfully a young lady stepped up and assisted us kindly. We were doing just fine with her help, until he decided to take over. He arrogantly said, I quote, “I don’t want to see you until 6 weeks til” then continued to throw his egotism in the rest. He then remarked, after we had questions about the fitting, that of course my fiancé is going to be miserable because he’s gettting married. I’m sorry, but in all my years of customer service I have NEVER given someone such disrespect!! Mr. Bert... YOU ARE NOT funny. You are a poor representative of Barclays. And if this is how you enjoy treating customers then let this be a message of warning for anyone who walks through your door. You should have let the young lady who kindly helped us finish the job. For she was the only one I was confiding in for the rest of the conversatio, as you lost all of my respect.

The first, last and only time I ever stopped there was a week before my wedding. I was ignored by the staff, I finally asked for assistance and was talked to like I was an inconvenience. I was told we probably dont have anything in your price range (witch I found offensive, because I never mentioned my price range). Having grown up in Piqua, I was always under the impression that Barclays was the place to go if you need a suit. Boy was I wrong. I ended up spending $3,500 on a wonderfully tailored suit in Dayton, (and it was worth every penny! The staff was courteous and professional and notably lacked the smug holier than thou attitude flamboyantly displayed by the Barclays staff). I wouldnt recommend these self-effacing clowns to anyone. Do yourself a favor, take the twenty minute drive south of that Podunk town and do business where the customers are appreciated instead of berated.

Everything is great if you get the right person to assist you. My newly wedded wife and I are now spending our honeymoon in Cancun Mexico and we could not thank Barclays enough. All of our tuxs turned out perfect, our wedding was beautiful. The only reason I give Barclays a 3 star instead of 5 is bc the short, dark hair employee that is typically in the mens section, is not a good employee. He does not seem to care about the customers concerns, nor does he want to help you explore your options, which is a big deal. The one bad employee can make it bad for the whole complany, but, I still love Barclays and appreciate everything they have done for me in the past 8 years.
