Despite the fact that this is their final days and I know the employees have Im sure had an extremely long day they were all so amazing and pleasant! I had a huge number of items and was for sure holding them up from leaving at the end of the night and everyone was so helpful and kind. Thank you and good luck to all!

Store is closing :( but it does have a great sale going on, nice and clean store. Sad to see it go.

So sad to see this store go! Right now they have some awesome prices on clothing. They didnt inflate the prices first as some stores do. I will be back to do some more shopping.

I walked around the store and noticed new price tags on everything. I picked up a decorative bird that i knew was 10 dollars the last time i visited and it had a new price tag on it that said 36 dollars. Open your eyes, jcpenney is cheating you.

Will miss this store very much. Plenty of apparel left to choose from. A lot of formals and childrens too! Employees are very helpful.

Very nice and the staff was friendly and attentative. Did not have to hunt all over to get someone to help me. Staff was very knowledgeable about what I wanted and helpful in my making my selection. Will definitely keep going back.

The store was well-lit, tidy, and pleasant. The staff was polite, helpful, and solicitous; when I had a question, they either knew the answer or went to find the information I needed and were nearby when I finished shopping.

Great selection of mens clothing at reasonable prices. Hope they can stick around since the mall they are in is slowly dying. Womens clothing choices are good as well, and staff is friendly.

Nice store, well stocked. Easy access just off of Interstate 75. Clearance prices were very good during this visit 👍 Love the overall value of their clothing, compared to most other stores.

I was very disappointed with the lack of sales people on the floor. I saw 3 clerks in the entire store. I waited 10 minutes for someone at the jewlery counter. And then had to ask for someone to be called .The sales lady was extremely nice and helpful, which made things better.I saw a Male manager walk by he was not aware or paying attention to his surroundings. Or he would have seen me standing there.Several people were in line at registers with no clerk in site. The register did not have sign that it was closed. If you got tired of waiting you had to walk the store to find someone or just leave.I guess business figure we will just wait forever if we really want something..So they arent going to staff enough help

I must say this place is pretty good for pants in my opinion the staff is also very helpful and they look like they’re happy to be there they also have pretty nice upscale clothes and some nice watches the reason I don’t give us a five star was because the fitting room seemed a little low quality because they seemed outdated and the floors were kind of filthy

There was one girl taking care of several departments. She was doing the best she could do. Advertised sales but didnt find anything that I had seen in the ad.

I love jcpenney, we use to have one in Greenville but they closed it.😭😭my family and friends did our shopping there now we are forced to shop at Walmart. But for quality items we will make the trip to jcpenney in piqua.. love this store helpful employees fabulous products. Hope we dont loose this one too..

This place is okay I failed to find what I was looking for and its a really small department store and its not well cleaned they had random things that werent in the correct aisle. Also the clothes and other items are well overpriced. Other than that I would say my visit to the store was okay.

So sad to have our local store close

About as dead as the mall its in. Outdated fashion and bland clothes. Prices are way too high and the deals are garbage. The sales are the prices the clothes should go for normally. Go somewhere else.

Bought a jacket, drove all the way home, discovered the salesgirl didnt remove the ink tag. So I had to go all the way back and asked for the manager. She didnt seem to care at all, just looked at me blankly, didnt ask hardly any questions and removed the tag. Wonderful customer service...Not.

Overall costs are too high.... Sales need to have higher discounts. Disappointed.

Wanted to return defective shoes and the staff gave me a very difficult time to return them. Recommend not to buy shoes from them

Ive visited this location multiple times and they dont carry mens size xl! The cashiers are always rude. For instance, the clerk asked if we found everything ok. We said no. Then he said absolutely nothing and started ringing up my items. Such odd customer service. Ive had similar experiences each time Ive visited. Wont be returning to this location.

This particular jcpenney store is the worst one I have ever shopped. It’s messy and it NEVER has any of their better products here. Very disappointing to say the least. Always empty. They send all of their junk merchandise here that they can’t sell in the bigger stores. The store and atmosphere is down trodden to say the least. Go to beavercreek if you have time because this store will waste your time. Employees are nonexistent and the ones that do work there are mediocre.

I was very happy with their sales and extra percentages off once you get to checkout. Cashier was friendly.

I was able to get dress pants for a wedding.

Outstanding personnel assisted me in my visit at the JC Penney in Piqua, Ohio. As I entered I was welcomed by a sales associate Lucinda ( short black lady with a personality plus) which directed me to the department I needed to purchase a mattress cover. Upon my decision what I chose to purchase. Cheryl another sales associate welcomed me to check me out with my purchase. She asked if I was satisfied and if I had any problems in finding what I was looking to purchase. Upon completion of ringing me out Cheryl and another associate thanked me for shopping at Pennys. As I told the girls people in retail make the company.. . Being in retail and wholesale sales I have seen many idiots in Ivory towers which are clueless. Retail has changed and there will be more changes in the next months, and years. All I can say is that I had a wonderful experience at Pennys in Piqua, Ohio.

Small for a JCPenny and youll run into inventory issues finding something in your size you like. But the store is clean and the staff is friendly.

Had an item that was over a year old and quit working, but was still under manufacturers warranty. They exchanged the item for us with no trouble.
