After paying for a full synthetic oil change, I noticed that my car was dangerously overfilled with oil. I decided to drain the entire oil pan. The oil appeared so dark and used, there is no way they drained most of my old oil, or possibly any of it. If anything, they may have drained a little bit and added a little more.Besides the oil, the mechanic who worked on my car lied and said he did not add windshield washer fluid when it was obvious he did. I had specifically asked for full synthetic oil, an oil filter, and no other services.Additionally, the woman who greeted me at the front desk said she was not sure if she was present in the city of Plano when I handed her a coupon that said for Plano location only and she had to defer to someone else to confirm.I am generously rating one star because one of the employees, Mercedes, called me after my visit to take full responsibility and gave me a full refund. Thank you Mercedes! The store manager Marvin refused to refund me when I asked.I would never allow any staff at any Kwik Kar location anywhere near my car again. The service provided is fraudulent and I would encourage anyone who has had service at any Kwik Kar to have a different trusted professional inspect their car as soon as possible.

Kwik Kar Willow Bend is likely the most welcoming repair and/or oil change place I have ever visited. The lobby has plenty of spaced out comfortable seating and is done in updated dark earth toned furniture. Plenty of space, clean restrooms, and friendly helpful service. The repair folks seem to all know their stuff as a promised quick oil change was just so. Dont forget to mention the coupon before you check out. They are well trained to upsell the services so be aware of what you want done or absolutely need done.

I always go here when I’m in town. they have always been honest and treated me with respect and professionalism. as a young woman I have never felt taken advantage of for my lack of car repair knowledge.

I’ve been to this location before, and the experience was great the first time. I went there again and there was this caucasian women at the front desk who gave poor customer service and had a mean mug on her face the whole time. She didn’t a acknowledge, greet or ask what would I like done today. Honestly I haven’t seen someone at a oil change place act like in a very long time.

Ive been coming to this Kwik Kar location for years and always have a wonderful experience. Prices are average for services compared to other garages (except for dealerships which are always more expensive.) I never feel like Im being pushed into services that arent needed or arent needed yet. Most recently I went for an oil change and had my two young children with me, they got my vehicle done in 20 minutes and also changed the air filters! Will always come back here for standard servicing.

I recently came in to do a synthetic oil change. After going to the Mercedes dealership, I was told by a service advisor that there was an oil leak in the pipe. I had a feeling that the service advisor was lying, so I waited until my next day off to visit Kwik Kar. After my visit at Kwik Kar and after getting an oil change, I asked the If there was indeed a leak in the pipe, and he said no, if there was he would have told me BEFORE I got the oil changed out. THANK YOU so much for your honesty and integrity here. I really felt that this location really wanted to help me and not just make money off me. I hope to get my brake pads done here in the near future.

Came here to get my inspection done early one morning right when they opened. I was expecting to wait at least an hour and they got me in and out in under thirty minutes! Super easy and quick.

Wife took her vehicle there for an oil change today. Left with a $400 and change bill. They said she needed fuel injectors cleaned and new brake fluid service. At 36k miles? Cmon. They also listed some other maintenance items like checking the battery and air filters etc. The best part was her car died 3 times on the way home in traffic. Could have been in an accident very easily. Took it back to them and they drove it around a few minutes and said well it didnt die now. Must have been the injector cleaner. That is not making it right and in my opinion they added a bunch of items because they had a woman customer. I have used this place for several years but not anymore. Hope the $400 stretches for yall. Dont spend it all in one place.

Went there unscheduled and was accommodated immediately. It was a quick state inspection, took only less than 30 mins. Strict protocol being observed due to COVID 19. Bottled water amd coffee all you want.

Just dont go here. They manipulate their pricing. Yes, I am partially at fault. I let them call me with the details on the repairs and did not question them. However, when I went to the shop, I guess they mistakenly gave me the estimate sheet which stated the cost of the work was nearly $120 lower than what they charged me for. I suppose them stating things cost more despite what the paperwork says is one way to drive up profit. When I questioned them and mentioned I would call their corporate since this is deceptive, I was told I can do that but they are independently owned - essentially go pound sand. The owner called and said well we should have given you our 10% discount and then it would have all matched. Really? How about you make both sheets match and correct the charge. I was told if I come back they will give me a 20% discount on my next service . . . I am pretty sure my next service will be no where close to what this entire experience cost me. And I will not be going back. Again, I should have asked for all the details . . I have learned my lesson to not trust this business. Seriously, whipping out a we should have given you the coupon after I am charged and question why the paperwork does not match. . .

I was sitting in the waiting area and I noticed the lady that worked there was giving every one a $10 discount. At least 4 people paid and she gave them all the discount. When it was time for me to pay she didnt offer it to me. I was going to say something but I didnt. I just feel if you are giving discounts, you should give them to EVERYONE!

I just went for an oil change. And everything went well. Until I checked my glove compartment and it was broken like someone forced it by pulling on it harshly. And noticed they went threw my belongings. I felt violated and shocked . And know I don’t know what to do with my broken glove compartment. I will never come here again.

Experience is ok types. I went for annual vehicle inspection, in addition to that I requested the lady on the counter multiple things like oil check, tyre pressure (notification keeps on blinking), wipers plus liquid replacement check etcIt took 30-35 mins and at the end they told ur vehicle is done and need to pay so and so amount.Nobody came to consult me like what type of engine oil OR letting me know that its not required et etc.When I asked on counter what has been fixed or worked upon... she was clueless...I figured it out by myself what items have been checked.. (and it was just vehicle inspection plus wipers replacement).I went to local mechanic shop and found that oil replacement was about to hit (I ws expecting as I covered 7k from last fillup). Reason I was more concerned abt this as I had to travel CO (~2k miles too and fro) and Dont want to get into trivial issues.I might have preassumed a good and interactive service but didnt feel right to visit it.

I brought my jaguar in for a damaged bumper from hitting a rod on the freeway. It put a hole through the bumper and a large mark on the drivers side door. I left it there and the work performed 100% in days. In addition they also delivered the car back to my front door, all detailed, and returned my loaner back to Enterprise. No muss and no fuss! I highly recommend Kwik Kar Willow Bend for all auto needs for all vehicles. The staff are super friendly and the place is as clean as can be! Kwik Kar Willow Bend could not be better. If you are worried about being ripped off at a “local repair facility”, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE WORRIED HERE! Marvin, the manager, oversees every job. He will tell you all of your options. (Good or bad news, he will be completely honest with you). He and his staff are great. (Don’t know how he finds the great team members, but he does). Kwik Kar Willow Bend charges a fair price, and will go above and beyond to make sure that you are completely satisfied. So much better than a dealership. They will tell you what repairs you need and not pressure you if you decline.I have been using THIS Kwik Kar for over 14 years and have NEVER had to return my car because it was not repaired correctly.As I understand, they accept most extended warranty policies.This is one business I could not recommend more.

I went here for a pre-purchase inspection for a used vehicle I was likely buying. I talked to several other places in the area, and they said they couldnt see me until Monday. I called 45 mins ahead and when I drove up they looked at my car right away. Jarith (sorry I probably spelled that wrong?) helped me out and happened to be a 4Runner fan, so he took the time to look at the car personally. He worked with me on the type of inspection would be best, and then highlighted a key issue with the vehicle. I was out of there within 30 minutes and he didnt even charge me for the inspection. I dont live in the area, but I highly recommend this place based on my experience.

To go here for a sound my car was making. Let the guy listen to it just for them not to pin point exactly what was wrong with my car. Very upset had to go to another auto place just for them to listen and pin point exactly what was wrong with my car within seconds. Don’t go here if you need more than a oil change.

Needed an oil change and almost all the auto shops are closed on Sundays. Not this place! I went in, thinking it would a long wait for an oil change. It was only about 15 minutes for them to change it. The staff was very friendly, the waiting room was comfy and cool with the a/c on. Most shops are hot. They did check and make sure my car needed synthetic oil which i am glad for. The only downside was usually an oil change is under $60. My oil change was $83!!! That is more than i have ever paid for for an oil change! I know they vacuumed the front foot areas, cleaned my windows and topped off my fluids but I dont know if I can afford that oil change again. But my experience was good! Just not for that price...

By far, the VERY BEST customer service I have ever had!!! One of my tires was leaking. I originally went to a National Tire and Battery location. I waited over 2 hours, they never even looked at my vehicle, and were absolutely horrible. I pulled into this Kwik Kar, was greeted immediately and they provided the best service. In the future, I won’t go anywhere else. Cannot recommend this location enough!

They took me in last minute and did my state inspection extremely quickly! The only thing I was skeptical about was that they made me pay extra to replace my windshield wipers, when Im pretty sure there was nothing wrong with them. This also happened to the other person there I saw get an inspection - maybe just a way for them to tack on an extra cost?

I took my car into the shop because of a leaking thermostat housing. When I got the car back, it wouldnt start unless I cranked it 5-6 times. Once started it would need to idle for around 10 minutes or else the car had no power and would sputter and choke. I returned to this shop twice to try and have the issue fixed only to be told that they needed to start doing other tests, requiring more money. Keep in mind that I had the check engine light codes ran every time I got the car back, only to have them indicate the exact part they replaced. I had to purchase a new battery from having to crank the car so many times to start it. I finally brought the vehicle to Drivers Edge, fantastic service by the way, and they diagnosed the problem. Yes, it was the exact part that both the check engine light codes indicated and the part that this shop supposedly replaced. I paid to have them re fix my car and when I got the car back both issue were 100% alleviated. I contacted the manager at Kwik Kar requesting a refund on the exact cost it tool my to fix this issue, not even the full refund of what I paid them in December. His solution was to offer a couple oil changes. I have only written one other public complaint in my life and I felt this was necessary. My advice, if you live in this area take your vehicles to Drivers Edge.

The manager, Marvin, is truly on top of this business. All his mechanics are quick to greet you and are very respectful. The receptionist, Mercedes always has a smile and is very efficient. They try and get you in and out in a day,, and will give you a ride either to or from.This is a great neighborhood business, and they treat you like family.Love this place!

This is the best experience at kwik kar Ive had. Went for an oil change, they didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need. I got windshield wipers too, bc I did need those. They mentioned my AC was not blowing cold, which made me realize it really wasnt, but its 100° so I tought probably just too hot. I went back the next day to heyyy freon! Both experiences were 5 star!

Highly disappointed with my experience. I went in for a synthetic oil change and was charged $87.00!!! An oil change should never and has never been this expensive. On top of that, the mechanic came inside to upcharge me to encourage me to purchase new windshield wipers, Air filters, and a car battery which were replaced less than 6 months ago. I would not trust this business again, I feel as though i was cheated out of money for a simple routine car service.

It is a little difficult to get excited about getting work done on your car but I can say this place it top notch with very friendly staff. I took my daughters car he a little while back. It was a little busy but they got me in and out in pretty short order. It really cold this day but they had really good coffee and donuts for the customers and the waiting room was very comfortable and clean.I would recommend this Kwik Kar any day.

They are quick, efficient, and communicate very well with customers. Suggestions are offered occasionally, but they arent pushy about it. Brought my 10 year old Sienna here for most of those years for oil changes, inspections, wipers, the occasional tire rotation. Always very happy with the speed and completeness of their work. They do check everything and tell you what service your car needs, but I just say yes to what I want and no if I dont and they are always agreeable.

They were thourogh and didnt push anything on me that I didnt need or want. It took a while but there were a lot of customers there that day so I cant hold that against them. The price for an oil change is pretty much what youll pay anywhere else. The waiting area is very nice and clean and the chairs are very big and comfortable, which is good cause youll be waiting a while for your car.

This place rocks. Stopped for an oil change. They looked busy so I went next door to the Sonic to get a drink and a snack. When I got back (matbr 15 minutes) my car was already finished. They also have an awesome waiting room.

Advertised by the sign as a ten dollar oil change. False, it took 30 minutes. When I came in the guy told me if I didnt get the expensive oil the dealership would void my warranty. False, he didnt even know what kind of warranty I have. I wont be back at the place. The waiting room is nice but the positives dont outweigh the negatives.

These guys saved the day. Had a water pump fail on me while I was visiting from out of state, but they were able to replace it along with the thermostat and a number of other things (all OEM parts) in about 5-6 hours. Would recommend them for anything from an oil change to big repairs. Thanks y’all!

We have been regular customers of Kwik Kar Willowbend since it opened. Marvin, the long time manager and his staff have always provided excellent and honest service to everyone in our family as well as to our neighbors and numerous friends. I recommend to everyone to check first with this independent service location before going to car dealerships; youll get honest and straightforward advice about what needs to be done; if its work thats under warranty, theyll tell you and send you to the car dealership.

Great place. I needed a quick ac repair but I was in a bind for time. They let me use a loaner car to go about my business, and didnt try to sell me unnecessary repairs (like most other repair companies around here seem to do). I will be bringing my car here for service from now on.

I unfortunately and unavoidably ran over a huge rock in the road in Arlington on the way to the Star in Frisco only to find transmission fluid pouring out when a parked to go to work. Not being familiar with the area, a family member that has used Kwik Kar many times notified Marvin and his staff of my problem. Within minutes Marvin called me and had already dispatched a wrecker to my location. Diagnosis, cracked transmission housing. Marvin dealt with my insurance adjuster and had my new transmission replaced within a few days and 3 days before projected date. Having being a Service Advisor for Toyota I totally appreciated and recognized his professionalism of staying in constant contact with throughout the seamless process. To top it off, they had even washed (had transmission fluid all over as you can imagine) and vacuumed it out. Five Star Service, Ill definitely drive the 40 miles from Fort Worth to Kwik Kar Willow Bend for my regular maintenance and or repair needs.Thank you Marvin as well as the Technician who performed my repairs.

Im from out of town and needed an oil change. All the Nissan dealers were either closed for rehab, had awful reviews, or were just too far away. I came to KKWB and they got me right in on a Saturday morning. They cleaned up my windows and really did a great job IMO. Their waiting room is comfortable and the manager/attendant even gave me the coupon discount in spite of me not having time to print one. I would definitely go back in the future.

We had a work van lose compression on one side of the motor so we limped the vehicle into the shop. Was quoted $2200 for a full catalytic converter replacement. I called and spoke to Marvin twice at great length about the possible repair. He never mentioned that they were not qualified (missing some specialty tools) to only replace the portion that was actually needed, therefore quoted out a full replacement at a ridiculous price. Short story is the next day I took it a muffler shop and they were able to replace the one bad catalytic converter and get me out the door for under $400 total. I dont feel I was lied to, but I wasnt told the complete truth. It almost cost me an extra $1800 by not knowing the right questions to ask. I still had to pay them the $220 diagnose fee but that is better than $2200...

I have taken my cars here for 10 years or more and have always been treated well and fairly. The people here are friendly and make my visits easy. I recommend it to all my friends.

This place will try to rip you off!!! My pregnant wife brought her car in to get a state inspection, and they told her it probably wouldnt pass without flushing the brake fluid and power steering fluid. both systems were completely fine! we took it to Christian brothers automotive and it passed with flying colors. Never visiting this kwik Kar again!

I work nearby and have gotten my oil changed 3 times here thus far. I have to say, as busy as they usually are, that doesnt stop their quickness. They are always helpful and quick to get me in and out. Another thing I like and have yet to experience, they dont try to up sell you or suggest a bunch of additional work unless absolutely necessary. My car is only 5 years old with low miles so maybe thats why. I will continue to go to these guys for my oil change needs. Thanks.

DO NOT TRUST THIS PEOPLE!!!! They have been using the wrong oil on my car for the past 1year and when I confronted them they told me I declined the correct oil kind. I never declined anything. why would I want my engine to broke down. They have to worst customer service ever!!! Don’t trust them with your car!!!

Agree with previous reviews of a nice waiting room. However, service was sub-par. Heres the summary of my experience. Technicians did not know what oil to use and asked me to recommend one. They up-sold the most expensive high mile synthetic they had in stock. I told them, no worries, Ill do the oil change myself as usual. Only they had already started, drained and disposed. Their next step was to haggle over a price for the oil change I did not approve. Thats my story, kluvyabye.

Ive never felt taken advantage of. I brought my new-used car to them first thing, and they advised me which repairs were necessary now, soon, and eventually. I use them for all my regular maintenance, and they help me keep track of what service is due at which mileage. When my oil light came on, I took it to them and they topped off the oil, checked for leaks, and (when they didnt find a leak) didnt charge me. They offer sound advice and are always a joy to work with. After I moved from the neighborhood, I still bring my car to this location (2208 Midway Rd). I can not recommend them enough.

Have been coming to KKWB for several years for typical oil changes and an occasional filter replacement. Needed a car tune-up and opted to have services done here instead of the dealership. This group did the work in a quick and efficient manner. Very pleased with their courtesy and explaining any issues - and giving me the option to choose replacements or services as I see fit. Will definitely continue being a KKWB customer!

They didn’t call when my car was ready. They didn’t put the service sticker on my car. They left my lights on. They didn’t wash my car, stating that it was raining outside. I will not return.

Don’t ever take your car here! They are money hungry and will look for anything to charge you with. Funny how my car has passed with the same “issues” they are referring to for several years. There are so many places you can take your car that don’t try to screw your out of money. Unless you just drove your car brand new off the lot just stay away unless you want to pay out the nose.

Very clean, quick service, friendly staff. The waiting area offered coffee, water, and cookies. There is a separate childrens play area with a TV. They have free WiFi. Bathrooms were very clean. Jareth, the service manager, was knowledge and friendly. They did an oil change and inspection for me. It took about half an hour. They cleaned the windows for me and let me know they found a nail in my tire. Jareth directed me to Discount Tire who fixed it for me free of charge.

Beware. Charged $100 for wiper blades. When I asked why so much they said oh that’s what they cost from the dealer. Well that was a lie. Just replaced because there’s didn’t work and the Audi dealer charged $44. For both! Shameful

I went to Kwik Kar and I use a specific high mileage oil in my car since it has more than 75,000 miles. I provided the oil, and even though the oil I provided was synthetic, they charged me for a full sythetic oil change (minus 3 dollars, for customer provided oil change). These people took me. I will never go back. Watch out for these people, they will take you if they can. I never want to go and patronize a business that I have watch them like a hawk at every turn. There are lots of Kwik Kar places around Plano, I would suggest you try another.

It is very refreshing to find an auto repair place that is more interested in getting it right for the customer as opposed to just making a sale to help their bottom line. We were having problems with our Encores suspension. The manager there Phillip suggested a couple of things that could be the issue and took a look at the car and suggested we make sure the tires were bbalanced start with. They balanced the front tires and everything seems fine. They could have easily suggested a more expensive option, what would we know. Anyways my wife has come here for oil changes for a little while now. I think we will be giving them some more business in the future.
