Terrible pharmacy. They almost mess up every other prescription. Ran out of important medicine and they have it ready to pick up. When at the window, they put a sign they are closed this evening and told me to come back next day as they can not open the window that evening!. This is dangerous for some patients. Not sure why anybody will continue to use this pharmacy
The pharmacy staff (pharmacists and technicians) are terrific. I can report this with credibility because I am a former retail pharmacist who worked in Chicago for a Walgreens pharmacy. Tim, Kevin and everyone in the pharmacy have always gone the “extra mile” for me since day one when I moved into the neighborhood a decade ago. They are most professional, courteous and cheerful. They always say hello to me and remember to call me by my name, thus making every visit a pleasant experience for me.What most patients/customers cannot appreciate is how demanding and stressful it is to work as a pharmacist or technician. The “bottom line” in my opinion, without any doubt whatsoever, is that the job of a pharmacist is one of the most difficult jobs.Think about having to stand for your entire shift, working with usually few or no breaks, being on the the telephone almost constantly and usually on hold with a doctor’s office, insurance company and a patient. Think about having to explain many times daily that you as the pharmacist do not set the high prescription prices (the drug companies and insurance companies do that). Think about working nights, weekends and holidays. Think about the constant need for 100% accuracy and the corresponding stress to maintain a “no mistake” job performance.And despite all of the above, Tim, Kevin and their technicians they supervise still maintain their courteous and professional demeanor.After a few years I left retail pharmacy to work most of my career as an employee of a major pharmaceutical company. No job I have ever had in my life has ever been as demanding and as stressful as working in retail pharmacy. Period. Not even a close call.So the next time you are standing in line at the Walgreens at Park and Plano Parkway please try to keep in mind what I mentioned above. The staff at this pharmacy are truly special. They reason I wrote this review is because I was disappointed with the few negative reviews posted on Google. I wanted to provide a true perspective of what it is like to work behind that prescription counter and maintain a great professional attitude every day.Much like nurses and other front-line healthcare workers who go about doing their jobs, often under appreciated, the vast majority of pharmacists should be highly commended for the incredible services they provide all of us. Pharmacists and nurses are unsung heroes.I would be remiss if I didn’t also commend the other employees of this Walgreens pharmacy including Jessie, and all of the other polite and helpful retail staff. This Walgreens is one of the best pharmacies I have ever dealt with. Finally, although I don’t know who the manager is but as most of us know, the manager hires the staff and creates the customer-oriented atmosphere. Kudos to the manager as well.There are many other pharmacies that are located near my home, several of which are a shorter distance from my home and more conveniently located. Yet I choose this Walgreens because it is by far the best neighborhood pharmacy with the best possible staff. Thanks to all of them for everything.
Olivia at the front checkout needs an attitude adjustment. Actually the only staff at this location that are ever remotely friendly are the pharmacy staff.
Called in and asked if they make copies. They said yes. And then I went inside and they told me no. Waste of time

Worst customer service ever!!They sent me an email that my order is ready to pick up, 6.55 am and I went there at 8.43 and they told me store is not open until 9!!They didnt tell me that the pick up before 9 am is curbside pick up, so that I will turn and get my order!! I had to be at work at 9 am so I couldnt wait specially when their email clearly said 7 to 10 is the store hours.Then Im called the manager Tayler and he was so rude, defending his assistants and saying they brought it out you were not there!! Why did you choose the drive through pick up option!!?? Well because I was offered 3 options and I chose that!!Do not waste your time here and Im disputing my order as well...Will go to CVS with a lot better service and respect to customers.
Pharmacy people have an attitude and talk down to us. Probably because of our age. No patience toward elderly folks. Shame on them and they lost a customer.
Every service experience I have had at this particular Walgreens has been subpar, but after today I will NEVER return! Between the woman working in the pharmacys rude, snappy attitude and the cashier mocking one of our purchases, it was literally one of the worst customer service experiences Ive ever had. I would absolutely avoid this location if at all possible.
Lately, the service at the pharmacy has really dropped off. My son desperately needs his medication regularly. When I called to verify that they had had received the atest prescription from the Dr., they informed me that they were out of that medication and that it requires 2 days to get get it in, so they wouldnt be able to fulfill it until the next day afternoon since they were out. Naturally, I was annoyed because we really needed it and I wouldnt have had the electronic prescription filled there if they had told the Dr they were out of it and we would have to wait. When we came in two days later to ensure that they had time to fill the prescription, they casually informed us at that time - Friday afternoon - that they wouldnt be getting the prescription until the following MONDAY and that we couldnt take the prescription anywhere else because it was electronic!!! And, our doctor was gone for the day, so we couldnt have it called in anywhere else!!! There is so much more to this story that I cannot tell here - - but it truly is horrible that when a medication gets delayed a second time you cannot even let someone know! It is medication, for heavens sake!!!
I worked at this Walgreens for a year-and-a-half and it was exceptional with the products that it contains and with the service that has been given. I have no complaints against management they are professional and kind. The cashiers are equally very friendly and one of them is my friend. They have great deals every single week on sodas and vitamins I need if you go in you wont be surprised.
Be very careful when buying candy chips snacks etc. .. most of these items are all expired .. before buying anything in this store please check the expiration date .. do not fall victim to buying expired foods etc. .. this store does not keep their items up to date.!!!
By far the best customer service I have received since moving to the DFW area! Sasha and Jesse Both have set the bar for customer service in my life . Sasha’s personality was captivating the moment that I entered the location. Recommending items and suggestive selling throughout the store .Jesse made the check out so easy and welcoming that it felt great to spend my money with him. I wish I had a camera on them because I would love a video of the both of them in order to teach future customer service workers because they most definitely have what it takes ! Reading other reviews on the store I at shock at what other people are saying because I definitely had a complete different experience and wouldn’t have changed a single thing ! Thank you Sasha and Jesse for making my experience at Walgreens a special one.
We made an appointment to get our flu shots at this location. When we arrived they told us their system didnt print out our reservation, so wed have to be queued in after three other people in the line and it would be a 45 minute wait. Whats the point of having an online scheduling system???
Very Good! They called me 30 minutes after my doctor visit to let me know my pills were ready. They were quick and courteous. Recommend this place to others. I know this store is very busy due to its location, but the folks did a great job.
This has been my go-to pharmacy for 15 years, and I am grateful for the pharmacy manager, Tim. He is so cordial and patient, and I appreciate that he makes time to answer any questions I have. He even takes time to help me find products within the pharmacy area even when he is extremely busy. I only wish this pharmacy was a 24-hour pharmacy.
Tonight, January 11, 2019 at approximately 9:30 p.m., my boyfriend and I went to the store to get needed items I heard the employees talking loudly and laughing it up....no problem but I found it odd how loudly they bantered.I have chosen this location out of convenience and I have spent a large sum of money throughout the last ten years....I think that if more than one customers like me were to leave, it would be a loss.When we went to the counter to pay, no one was at there to pay. I called out for an employee and thats when I encountered an employee by the name of Shayla.She approached the counter obviously annoyed and she had a confrontational demeanor and she aggressively said you knew we was out here. I told her that I heard but no one was at the counter. I was annoyed at her confrontational tone. She looked at me with disdain and I looked at her back with disgust. She said do you have a problem? Whilst she shook her head and I said yes and she said why are you looking at me that way? I told her that I was looking at her the same way that she was looking at me, Shayla. She said: oh yeah, I know that you are going to call on me and I dont care, I have a full-time job and I dont need this job. We left in shock! My boyfriend informed me that while I was keying in my pin number as I paid, she rolled her eyes at me because I asked if she can look to see if I can redeem points.WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE????? Do I, the customer matter? I sure hope that theres a camera to see all that. You cannot make this thing up.Now, I need to make a decision if I will take my business elsewhere if they dont do something about their employees disgusting behavior. I was afraid of her becoming violent.
They have apparently improved in all respects. Now, one is greeted with a smile and can I help you or be right with you! I go there regularly and am always helped when needed in the store and in the pharmacy.
I cant begin to express how upset Im with this store and to think the Manager/Sales Clerk feels she could pull one over on me concerning pulling reduced price tickets (in two lacations) which were left on from last weeks sale for Arizona Iced Tea. When I went to check out the cashier requested a price check as the reduced price was not showing up. When the Manager/Sales Clerk returned she requested I show her what I had seen and low and behold, when we walked over to the display the reduced price tickets we gone and only the regular price tickets remained.....This Black Lady should be fired for trying to deceive a valued customer and I can assure Walgreen I will NEVER shop this store again....NEVER....and would not recommend this Walgreen to any customer.....just read the review.....they do tell the real story as how bad this store and associates are......
The service is very unhelpful, As I refilled my prescription and went to pick it up, they told me I can’t get it yet since it was a day early from its actual refill date and there was no way of getting it until the next day. So I what I did was send the prescription to another Walgreens on Midway and I was able to pick it up that same day. Overall I don’t recommend this location.
The staff is the absolute worst. Extremely rude and always looking to make your experience difficult. If you have to drive an extra mile or two go to a different one, its better than letting the staff get you worked up just to buy a simple item you can find in any supermarket.
The staff has changed and has improved. The inside clerks are nice, polite and helpful. But this location is still super busy in the Pharmacy during peak hours. Use pharmacy during off hours.
I love this Walgreens! Every person that works in there is friendly and helpful. I have been using this store for over 10 years and will continue to do so in the future.

Ive been going to this pharmacy for years, for mere convenience only. They have yet to ever get my prescription correct. There is always a long wait even if I have a refill waiting. The staff is lazy and extremely unhelpful. Every time I pick something up I leave angry. Im finally giving up and switching pharmacies. This is the worst Walgreens!!!!

Travis - Assistant Manager of this location has failed miserably tonight. Failing to fully understand your stores policies can be forgiven. However, failing at your primary responsibility, customer service, is inexcusable. You simply do not de-escalate a situation with your customer by arguing with them and by walking away stating you dont care. Perhaps it is time for you to search for a profession outside of the customer service industry.

This is the worst location to get your prescriptions- The pharmacist do not even know the generic brand names and are extremely rude. My baby takes prevacid which takes a week to come in and first they misguided me that its available and when i ran out of it and went to pick up, they said it is going to take a week. Now i again called in and the pharmacist said we dont have a refill for prevacid on your profile. when i asked for the manager and said that you people are disappointing, she said to bring the bottle with me if i had it from this location- I mean do you even know how to talk to people? is that how you treat customers? after a moment she realized they do have a prescription ready to pick up by the name of LANSOPRAZOLE for which prevacid is the generic brand name. as a non-pharmacist if they expect me to remember all brand names, i think they need to re-think. Plus, you could have just seen that something is ready to pick up instead of constantly denying and questioning me. after all this, she did not apologize and just said its ready to pick up.im writing this review after multiple experiences at this location.

I would give this Walgreens a zero if it were possible. We have been using this Walgreens for years and the service has become beyond horrendous. If you want to be informed that prescriptions are ready when theyre not or if you feel like getting berated by pharmacy staff, this is the place. Make the drive to a different Walgreens or CVS. Obviously management does not care, nor monitor interactions with customers.

I used the Walgreens photo center to print some wood panel photos and I had a horrible experience. The photo tech was very rude and the staff was incompetent. The wood panel print I was purchasing was a gift for my mother-in-laws birthday. The quality of the photo was dark and blurry. I told the checkout clerk that the photo was too dark and blurry and the photo tech came over and told my husband and I she could do nothing to the quality of the picture because it came from facebook. The photo was one of our professional wedding photos exported from my computer . I exported 1200x800 image saved file sizes at jpeg quality 10 /40KB to 2MB. This facebook accusation was very confusing. I was not sure why she thought I would take my own wedding picture from facebook. The tech was very arrogant, rude, condescending, ignorant and a know-it-all. Her comprehension and knowledge of photography was inaccurate and limited. She stated 4 different times during the conversation that the image had come from facebook. I took it as a personal attack towards my husband and I. I quickly realized that I was not going to get the photo gift that I purchased for my mother-in-law and proceeded to buy my other wood panels (8x10 on sale for 11.99 each). when I got home I could see that the other panels had bubbles in them and were not properly bonded to the wood backing. I received poor customer service and a poor product. I did reprint the the same photos that evening on wood paneling at the Custer location (in Plano) and the quality was great. Same photo, no blurriness, no darkness and no uneven bubbles.
Lazy pharmacy staff and as unhelpful and unprofessional as they could be. I will NOT be going back!

The pharmacy staff is always rude and can never get our order straight. I have been shorted pills, been yelled at, and repeated been spoken to as if I am a moron. Todays phone call by a condescending Skye was the last straw. I will be transferring all of my prescriptions out of the Walgreens system immediately!!! I will NOT be treated rudely by their staff another minute.
