I rarely write reviews but I had to write one for CPR cell phone repair and specifically for David Shamshiri. I had an issue with my 2012 MacBook Pro which he spent two days trying to fix the issue but wasn’t unable to due to hardware issues. He professionalexplained the issues and apologize for not be able to fix it. He refunded my initial deposit of $60 which I would didn’t want to accept for all the work that he had done but he insisted. Wow!There are only a few companies I come across these days that will refund your money if they can’t fix the issue. David was very professional and knowledgeable. He has earned a lifetime customer! I’ll be bringing all of my electronics from now on to him and CPR cell phone repair!

Customer service here was great but their work isnt. A few weeks ago, I brought my phone in to get the screen and LCD replaced and it was done in just a few hours. I got my phone back and noticed there was adhesive sticking out of the side of my phone. It was impossible to remove since it was what was holding part of my phone together. Anyways, I started noticing some really weird things happening like my volume button sometimes wouldnt work (where the adhesive was) and that top right side kept popping off and also something loose in my phone. When Id grab my phone or if my phone was shaking, theres something rattling inside. And every now and then, my phone would make a random beeping noise. I took my phone back and addressed the problem and they had no problem fixing it. Got my phone back about 2 hours later and the adhesive was STILL there but the volume button was working so I didnt mind. The battery rattling on the inside of my phone was still there. I ignored it and thought its fine. As long as the volume button works, then Im okay. A few minutes later, I called my friend and noticed something wasnt right with my speakers. Again. I figured it was whatever. I ended up noticing a lot more problems regarding the sound on my phone. I eventually stopped getting ringing notifications. My speaker phone didnt work anymore. And when I received a phone call, it would ring once at a normal tone and then go back to almost silent without me even touching the phone. I decided to shake a phone a few times and the ringer would go back to normal for a few minutes until I move my phone again. At this point, my phone was unusable. I work from my phone and not having it ring and the sound not working properly was not okay. The next day. The volume button was acting up again so essentially, everything I took it back in for to get fixed was not fixed. I spent around $370 to get my screen and LCD repaired to get back a phone that isnt even functional anymore. I had to buy a completely new phone after coming in just to get a screen and LCD fixed.

I went to get my work iPad fixed, the screen was broken. They did a great job repairing. They gave me an estimate of how long my service would take, and it was exactly that. They also provided great customer service!

We brought our iPad in to have the screen replaced. They replaced the screen without issue the first time. After a few days of use, it became clear that there was an issue with the screen. We took the iPad back, and they determined the screen was bad. The replacement process the second time around was not as smooth. We received a call that they home button was missing a gasket, and it was being shipped to them. After a week, the part had not arrived, and I was given the same response “we expect it today”. Finally someone decided to actually check the shipment and the work was completed. As a nice little kicker, we brought in a screen protector to put on the original replacement screen. With the bad screen, that protector was no longer useable. No replacement of the screen protector was offered or provided. Just my asking was met with condescension. I will never use them again, nor do I recommend you do either.

Truthfully when I went in I expected bad customer service like Ive received at every other phone store Ive been in but that was NOT the case with CPR. They went above and beyond to get me what I wanted. I drove to the plano texas store and the phone that I had inquired about was at the frisco store. The boss ended up delivering the phone house because I wouldnt have made it to the store in time! The guy at the store knew exactly what he was talking about and when he didnt know the answer to the question, he didnt try to muddle through it. He called his boss to make sure his answers were correct. I will definitely be using them in the future.

I went to this location because a small metal piece was stuck visibly in the charging port. I thought it would be a quick fix but the young guy I met with looked at my phone for less than 8-10 seconds and said the phone would need to be replaced. There was nothing to be done. Needless to say, I went to a different cell phone repair location on Spring Creek and they fixed my phone in under a minute and it was no charge.

My iPad screen was severely damaged in my humble opinion, but CPR informed me that they had seen worse and it was nothing they couldn’t handle. Made an appointment to have my phone fixed and upon arrival was told they couldnt do the work until the following day. Wasted my time, had they told me they couldnt do the work as quoted, I wouldnt have wasted time driving there.

I took my phone there at 4pm on a Friday and I think they were just wanting to leave. I thought i needed a new home button and they guy said sorry Maam I could replace it for you but it still wont work. That is a software issue and you need to take to Northpark Mall Apple Store to let them try. (Total BS) He did not even LOOK at my phone.So i took it to CELLULARIS at Willow Bend Mall where my phone was FIXED and just needed a new screen...........If lazy guy would have just TRIED to look at my phone and not brushed me off, he might be getting a great review right now. Not sure about cell phone service the screen replacement for a MacBook was awful. I feel they took advantage of my teen daughter who dealt with this store and one in Norman in attempts to get CPR to rectify. Two days after getting the computer back, the screen failed again. They hid behind vague warranty excuses and claimed it was a different problem. Also, they hid behind the each store is owned separately so we cant support work done at other shops:. Took the MacBook to an authorized Apple dealer who replaced the screen saying it was the incorrect screen and was installed improperly. Their actual quote was take this piece of garbage back to whoever installed and get your money back.

Phillip was awesome in communicating with me through email. I had contacted several other locations and the only email replies i received was the auto generated ones. Phillip also gave me $10 off coupon for having to wait for the battery shipment. The actual store experience was smooth and simple. He had my phone ready when i returned.

So believe the hype CPR Cell Phone Repair Plano is legit. My phone was not charging, had a wrecked screen, and the camera was destroyed. They charged for the diagnosis which is the put towards the actual part(s) that needs replacing. My battery and my screen were replaced that’s when they noticed the camera and fixed it at a very special holiday discount (like you’d never be able to beat that price). I’m very pleased and will recommend them to everyone.

Brought it a 4 year old all-in-one Sony desktop i7 computer running on just 3 cylinders, super slow. Within a two days, I got back like-new computer running on all 8 cylinders, all for around $100. I am a happy camper. Will use these guys for future computer n smart phone repairs.

Terrible service from the beginning. I walked in and stood around for 10 minutes because they were busy. Understandable. They took my phone and told me they could have the battery replaced within about 2 to 3 hours. My wife and I hung around the area, ate a late lunch somewhere nearby, etc. so we could go back and pickup the phone. I missed a call and got a voicemail from Armondo saying that they now realized they would need to send my phone to another location where they had a Master Tech who would have to work on this particular model of phone, because it was special (Google Pixel XL). They informed me on this voicemail that I would now have to come all the way back the next day to pick it up. I called the store and asked for the guy who left the message (Armondo), and the guy who answered said he was going to put me on a brief hold. 10 minutes later, I hung up because they left me on hold. I went into the store in person to discuss the matter with them, and agreed that I could send my wife back the next day to pick it up. The next day, I heard nothing from them and I did not call them or send my wife to try and pick it up. I figured we would wait until the following day, giving them plenty of time to get it done. On day 3, I received a voicemail from the Master Tech who told me that basically they would probably damage the screen during the repair, and I would have to pay for that... $150! No thanks. I sent my wife to pick up the phone, unrepaired. What a waste of time!!

I had little time to get my phone fixed unless I wanted to wait a week- being busy with work and summer school. I had gone to another phone repair shop. They mistook my iPhone SE for an iPhone 5, and I killed two hours only to be told they couldnt fix it because, the charging ports arent the same- which- of course theyre different.So I only have 3 hours before work, I see this place off the highway on my way home. The charge is almost double what the other place was charging me, but they ASSURED ME they could fix it. I went ahead and did it. The guys at CPR were far more professional and they communicated everything that was going to happen much better. Instead of giving me a window of, give me until two or three or four to finish, they said to give an hour to hour and a half. I would barely have time to pick it up.Now my phone was messed up in the charging port, it had also been wet, it say in the rain for a few minutes too. I put it in rice which got most of the moisture out, but I busted the charging port. Not only did they have it finished on time, they gave me updates and were not afraid to tell me, the screen was flickering (from the leftover water probably) but we are trying to get it to stop. Fair enough, I waited a couple minutes and they brought out the phone working like new charging, screen bright- flawless!Not only that, the technician came from the back to show me the charging port had been fixed and the phone was functioning properly. That to me was going above and beyond combined with the other services and courtesy.You get what you pay for, and when I say it was almost double as the other place- 45 compared to 80.. $80 is NOT BAD AT ALL. Under $100 to me for a reliable service like this is definitely worth it.With these guys you pay for trust, reliability, courtesy, and quality. Highly recommend if you need any electronics fixed.PS I listened while I was waiting with one of the guys working. Someone had a very old iPod they wanted fixed and since they didnt have the part, the sales guy was willing to work with him on the deposit to have it looked at. Went in to get my iPhone XR diagnosed and fixed for the screen issue I was having, the guys at CPR made it so incredibly easy and Jared, the gentleman running the front was incredibly detailed and walked me through the issue. Needed a smart watch fixed. I had parts from another broken watch so CPR took the good parts and made a new watch. A bit pricey considering I provided the parts but I’m happy. I will use them again if I ever need to. The people are very friendly too.

The gentleman that helped me was very friendly and informative. I purchased my phone online from a re-seller and it didnt work properly. They were able to asses that my phone had water damage. They were able to fix my phone in just a few hours and its working great. Definitely recommend this place.

Took my phone here a while ago to finish replacing the battery (I lacked proper tools to get all the screws out). They were able to do it for a cheap price and staff was very friendly. Will come back for any future phone problems.

I had submerged my iPhone 5S in water the night before. I took it to Apple and they were only able to offer me a swap that wouldve cost me $269. I took it to this CPR shop after a very positive experience Id had with the same company up in Ohio in November. They fixed it completely for $70, the fingerprint even works again! (They said they were unsure if that capability could be restored.) Well done guys! Five stars all the way. Oh and it was ready in under an hour. Cant beat it!

Beware! We took a phone in to replace the battery. They supposedly replaced the battery, but the battery tester showed it only to be 64% good (odd how that was the same as the old battery) When we went back, they claimed it takes several weeks for the battery to charge all the way. Refused to refund money despite clearly either not doing the work or replacing it with a defective/used battery. They wanted to work on it some more, no way we would trust them to touch the phone again.

Broke my phone in the early morning incident involving coffee and a concrete floor. Found this place online and the amazing reviews are correct. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable and they do amazing work. They are also fast and reasonably priced. Dont know why I havent tried them before. Would highly recommend them.

I came here to get the battery replaced on my IPad. When it was returned, the screen now had a dead spot along the entire top. I brought it back, and they replaced the screen. A few weeks later, the screen cracks at random. No force, no drop, just cracks as I am using the tablet. The crack then proceeds to spider web the next day. I took it back again, and they told me though it had been repaired with a generic part, they would not cover it under warranty. They offered me a partial discount on another screen replacement. I asked if I got it replaced, and the same thing happened, would THAT be covered, or would I have to pay a third time. They told me that it would NOT be covered. No thanks. Oh, and P.S: the new battery still drains rapidly. So, my tablet is now in far worse condition than when I brought it in, and they are $130 bucks richer.Update/Response: While I understand that you can not take my word that the screen cracked on its own, it does not change the fact that I know it did. When offered a discount upon my return, I was ready to do it, until I was told that would not be covered either. So why would I pay $90 plus dollars to have my screen replaced again with the same off brand part that I know has been defective once with no guarantee of warranty if it breaks like it did last time? Also, for the record, I am not a repeat customer. I came in once to get the battery replaced. I only returned to repair the damage caused by the replacement. Twice.
