Cant believe I have to go 3 star on what is usually a 5 star experience at any Aveda store or salon across many miles and cities! Sadly, the staff we encountered on our visit was not the usual ebullient soul with anything vaguely resembling the Aveda spirit.We were in search of something that had been recommended to us but werent quite sure which product. With much sighing and outward disdain, we were shown some products that could be what we were looking for. Okay, we decided on one and picked up another item near the cash register. I gave my phone number to look up my Aveda profile. The sales associate looked like he would soon expire from ennui at having to wait on us. I am so sorry! My heart was breaking for this poor, tired dear who had to help old people find a moisturizing lotion. Who knows what all he had been forced to endure on his shift. I have certainly worked my share of retail jobs. It can be difficult and exhausting. I felt so sorry for him. I also felt sorry for myself, because I had built up the Aveda store to my husband and said it was great with very helpful employees guiding their customers toward products that solve lifes small grooming and relaxing grievances. Well, drat. I was wrong. I will steer clear of this shop in future, at least until staff members have had a day off and a chance to relax for themselves. Again, I am so sorry.Feel better soon.
It’s open, but because we hadn’t been there in a year (can you say Covid?), Aveda dripped our account and we lost a LOT of points. The ladies in the store were so helpful though. We got what we had been out of. Finally!
The manager is a man. An Asian and a Caucasian assistant work with him. Exhibits racism towards minority race. Reporting to Aveda did not help.While other Aveda locations are excellent in customer service, this location exhibits racism - when selling Indian origin products and making money. This was already reported to customer care - USA. Several emails sent and reported with the Willow Bend concierge as well. Aveda management did not care to call the customers back. Worst customer service in the USA.
Im an Aveda girl for the last 15 years. Very happy to be so close to a location. I shelduled a complimentary facial and have been using the recommended products for a few weeks with good results. I feel confident that they are making beneficial product suggestions.
Absolutely the best Aveda store out there. The staff is always friendly and extremely helpful for any of my needs.
