Had a great technician (Corey) help me with my issue. He was more than willing to answer any questions I had and was very polite and you could tell he appreciated his job!Also, I called them late last night around 08:00 pm and they were out here by 10:00 am the next day. It took him a few hours, but he got straight to work and got it done quickly! Really appreciate everything he did.It was a little pricey for me, but I didn’t shop around too much, so I can’t really knock them on that. Overall a great experience really

Absolutely horrible - even the one star is inflated but I had no option for zero. My garage door needed to be adjusted and I was quoted a charge of north of $300 with no explanation beyond its a Level 1 but that it could be reduced if I agreed to a tune up on door #2 and #3 (which they had done a few months before) bringing the bill to over $500. I said to stick with the repair only, went inside and two minutes later, I hear a crash followed by a knock on the door. The cable snapped totally unrelated to the repair and now my repair would be north of $500. Told the tech I would pay the $35 service charge but to leave. Next I have a knock on the door and the office manager is on the phone trying to convince me the quote was fair and reasonable. I decline and sent them on their way.Save your money and headache and use someone/anyone else unless you liked to get gouged and up-sold.

They are human garbage, they used existing hardware to mount my new door. It will not open or close. They refused to honor the warranty. Liars and thieves. The installers attempted to charge me extra for items like the handle. I have never been able to lock this door since it was installed. They told me garage doors are only meant to be used without garage door openers and tried to sell me an opener the third time they did not install it properly. There should be an option for negative stars. They took down a thirty year old door that was knocked off track by a tornado that legit went down my alley instead of remounting it and convinced my wife to purchase a new one. It has fallen on me four times now.

Alex showed up for our appointment on time and got right down to business. He explained exactly what was included for the price, made some suggestions I never thought of and didnt try to sell me things I didnt need. For example, I had purchased a belt opener with a battery backup, another vendor came in and told me he had a better chain opener with no battery backup and less hp. The installation was performed on schedule and the gentlemen did a fantastic job installing the door, hardware and new opener. I would strongly recommend this vendor!

Highly recommended. When they first came out to look at the door the tech let me know I could call the manufacturer and get a replacement part for free. He even gave me the phone number. Once the new part came in they came and installed it. I feel like they went out of their way to save me money!

Dont use these guys if they send a service guy named Alf!!! He is the most argument guy I have ever dealt with. I have used the company for 10 years and have had no problem at all until this dood showed up.

Called at 5 pm when I got home to a broken spring so I tried one company they closed at 4. Gave Action a call after googling, the scheduler was very nice after I explained that I was headed out of town and wanted my wife to be able to park in the garage while I was gone, he told me let me call you back in a minute. He called right back after he worked some magic and told me Jake would be here in 1 hour. I couldn’t believe it. They also gave me a $50 off coupon and a lifetime spring warranty. Not to mention very competitive price. I expected no one would be able to come out with such short notice but they cared about my situation and made it happen. They also just made a customer for life, removed the old company’s sticker and replaced it with Action’s. All around they are great, friendly, professional and a value as people and a company. JR was great with Action Garage Door Repair on Monday...... unfortunately we have a lower end gate opener motor that isnt mainstream. He was forced to stay on the phone with this small company out of California for over 45 minutes to figure out the exact problem for the opener. This is the second time we have used Action Garage Door Repair. Both times we had a technician at the house the same day. This last time the whole door needed to be replaced. The replacement was scheduled for the next morning. The technician was prompt and efficient. New door works perfectly.

I asked this company to come out to my house and diagnosing problems of my having with garage door opener . they charge a fee to look and simply walked in and told me I needed new ones at left. Seems like a pretty easy way to make money, just take a fee for coming out and tell everyone you need new equipment and leave with their money. I havent had a pie in the face like that in quite some time

Service was fast, Josh was a great tech and great to visit with. He has our door working like new again and he educated me on maintenance items beyond greasing the door that I didnt know about. We have been using Action since 2008 and have always had great service. In my opinion, the service is kind of pricey, but I dont know enough about the business to comment any further. It seems like its $5-600 every time they come out, even with things under warranty. They are, however, a great service and I will continue using them.

They took my service call money, told me they would order part and 15 days later I was the one following up with them. I was finally told that my opener was a sears product and they no longer get parts, but I could buy a new one from them. After doing my own digging around I found Lowes carries the part for 9 dollars. Too bad because in 2 years I was planning on replacing my 3 car garage doors and motors completely, but needed an immediate fix for this go around. Action Door you lost my respect and business. Its a matter of principle. Hope you learn from it.

Our garage door opener is used very little and by my grandparents- 2 little old people who never go out. The garage door itself is light as a feather to lift. Action Garage has been their one and only repair company in 10 years. Found the horsepower lift on the unit cranked to the highest most powerful, unnecessary level - which burned out the motor. This garage door opener could easily have lasted 20-30 years with such light easy use. The Action Repair person had cranked up the HP to the highest levels- on this so high- it burned out the unit. No one else touched the system besides these AG repair people in 10 years- we have all the bills. By having the HP cranked up so high- it burned out the garage door lift-motor. We will never call them again. .

I called action to get a quote on a belt for my opener. Instead of a quote the representative asked why I would purchase an item that had a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer. I had no idea this was the case as no one not even the manufacturer mentioned this when I called. He could have taken me for $200 as that was the lowest price I had for this part installed at the time. Instead Action saved me money by being honest and treating me fairly. I will be calling for future needs no question.
